I'm gonna start using the queue because even though I don't make too many posts too often, it has come to my attention that it is a part of tumblr etiquette to not make what I have come to call "Post bombs."

On a side note, why the heck is the word queue spelled like that? Why does it need two ues? Is it afraid of sounding like the spanish word for "What" or something? Since when are words afraid of sounding the same as other words? Lead and lead are spelled the same, but they mean two different things! So why in the flibber flabbering FUCK isn't queue spelled "QUE!?!?!?"

you're writing to your inner child because you want to show gratitude, paying homage to the ugly, murky waters that you've grown up in. perhaps you've experienced some of the rough conditions throughout your life at home or even in your own community/heritage overall. but despite this, you've learned how to rise above all of the adversity, as you've anchored your roots into the mud, just so that you could stay afloat and swift beautifully throughout life. remember, the muddy water never touches the inside of the lotus flower, as the layers of petals protects the purity from within.

Welp, me and my brother finished another game series last night (Gravity Rush), so you know what that meeeeans: time to fill up my queueueueue with a million posts

CROSS EMPTY WORLD

so, ive basically estimated that the least amount of time cross would be alone in their empty world is… probably a couple hours tbh. cross would start crying by then (and he’s shown to be crying right when episode x ends) SO ink shows up fairly quickly. which still leaves time for xchara to manipulate cross into being a ‘tool’ because ink DOES eventually leave.

but. and hear me out, what if ink DIDNT show up. what if cross was kept there, ink didnt approach so suddenly and instead WATCHED and avoided meeting cross. what if cross’ first exposure to the multiverse was nightmare. (not dadmare specially) what if cross’ first REAL exposure to the multiverse and what it meant was with NIGHTMARE and not ink.

this goes on to remove a lot of things, ink’s drawing sessions, the times with the hats and the chest, cross doesnt GET to process his trauma in a healthy way but instead it is taken and molded into something truly ugly. NIGHTMARE makes it a point to starve cross of contact, he MAKES IT A POINT to inform cross that there isnt anyone else coming for him. he’s stuck here and the only way he’s getting out is through nightmare

this, contextually, takes away a lot of ink and cross moments so they dont even get to the point of being associates never the less friends. cross doesnt get that ultimate betrayal and messy relationship with ink. cross would instead be in a toxic-esque and codependent relationship with NIGHTMARE

another idea is to have cross meet DREAM first but hey man, dont give up youre so sexy aha /ref
