The spirits of the land have become angry at the litter left in the green spaces and as a result, people travelling in these areas have been harrased upon their journeys. They no longer pass through the village, preferring to take more open roads to avoid incurring the spirit's wrath. The village is struggling without visitors and the people have been unable to leave without suffering the spirits anger. We need brave souls such as yourself to help us appease the spirits by clearing the litter.

Watch the Skies

Dear Adventurers and Travellers,

I am sure you're all aware of the dragon that has been circling above the village for some hours. Fear not! The Wizard of The Forest has advised us that it means no harm. The dragon is named Altheros and they have come from the far North in search of their kin.

Unfortunately, dragons have not been seen in this part of the world for hundreds of years so we must turn to those who have journeyed far and learnt much beyond our borders.

If anyone has any particular knowledge on the whereabouts of other dragons or is aware of ancient lore regarding these creatures of legend, please find us in the Village Hall to confer.

Any help is welcome, rewarded and appreciated, both by myself and our new friend Altheros.

Mapping Adventures

Greetings once again, Adventurer

As you may remember, I have previously asked you to share historical tomes and tales to add to our local collection. Our small library is thriving and as such, I wish to add another section for the travellers who have come here in search of knowledge.

This new section will be dedicated entirely to maps and lore of the world through which you have journeyed. I am grateful for all the support our local library has received so far and hope to see some new additions to the collection.

A reward will be offered for your services to the collection and preservation of knowledge and resources.

Floral Friends

Dear Adventurers and travelers,

'Tis I, the Wizard.

I have recently spoken to the Spirits of the forest who are thankful for your efforts in cleaning up the area of "rubble and rabble" as the Old Oak put it.

Several of the older Spirits have noticed a decline in new growth around the place, as have I. Since you are becoming well acquainted with the woods, I ask you to consider lending a helping hand to our flowering friends.

There is a clearing in the forest (easily found if you ask the birds to show you the way) where you may plant native flowers or encourage the growth of other such flora. The trees offer their blessings and the grasses will sing your praises.

Living Language

Dear Adventurers and Travelers,

Thank you for your continued support of the village and in particular, my beloved library. Contributions are continuous and I have included several new tomes entirely made from stories and tales people like you have given me. I appreciate all you have done to help me share the knowledge of the world with those willing to learn it.

As to this posting, I am engaged in something of a project. You see, I am currently interested in languages from around the world and am compiling works to be included in the library in an effort to diversify our knowledge.

I would like to invite anyone willing to share tales, songs, stories, poetry and vocabulary in any languages you may have come across or know yourself. I hope that with enough contributions, we will have a good starting point for expanding our library even more as a vital place of learning.

Rest and Recuperation

Good day, adventurer

I have seen you wandering often, always passing back and forth through the forests and plains. No, you did not see me but I was aware of your presence and have shared a quiet word with tree, spirit and beast to ensure your safe passage.

Anyway, all this to say you must take your rest. The village is grateful for all you have done for them and have banded together to put together a feast of sorts. Should you wish to join us, you will find food and drink provided by Dryss, medical supplies gifted by Yena, equipment repair services offered by Horace, as well as cloth, mending and materials provided by Sindon. Entertainment for the night will be performed by the esteemed Ezkaroth. This event will take place at the Village Hall.

I trust to see you there to take an evenings enjoyment and to receive thanks for your honourable deeds. (Also, I have instructed the surrounding forests to bar you entry should you try to leave the village in the next few days. Rest.)

Greetings Adventurers,

My name is Hànelín, the newly stationed Ranger in this area. The village is my first outpost position and I am interested in creating a support network between the traveling folk around here. This includes travellers, adventurers, roaming rangers etc.

My aim is to create some unity between us all so we may know each other's strengths and help others complete jobs and quests best suited for them as well as put people in touch with suitable campaign companions should they require it.

Shelter From The Storm

Dear Adventurer,

I am the wizard of the forest.

You do not know me and I do not know you but that will soon change.

Some parts of the forest are blanketed in snow, buffeted by howling winds whilst other places shimmer in the hot air. All have one thing in common.

The forest lacks shelter for those who do not fly or walk on all fours. Travellers have been caught unawares by the changing weathers, unprepared to face the conditions as they flip to the extremes of climate.

If you would be so kind as to enter the forest and help to provide safe places for shelter and rest, you would be helping me greatly for I shall be doing the same in the more inhospitable areas.

A small token of our meeting and your gracious help is of course offered.

To complete this job, you must provide shelter in any way you can. This could mean building a den large enough for a person or providing a safe and clean place for animals to shelter such as placing a birdhouse or even ensuring your local bench is clean and safe for use. Please remember to stay off private property unless given permission and to use environmentally friendly methods and materials for your project.

Hello, my name is Yena Palemoon and I'm a new Healer in this village. I'm looking for help cataloging the native plant life so I may use more local ingredients when creating my potions and medicines. Since I am often busy in my duties and am new to the area, I require someone to find different plants, identify them and cataloge their findings. I accept sketches, pictures or lists as cataloging. Please do not pick the plants you find as this may damage them and render them unable to be used! Beware that some plants may cause adverse effects or reactions when touched.

There is a small reward for helping me in this task as a token of my thanks.

Reward: 25 points

To complete this job, you must find, identify and cataloge different plants. You may choose any area you wish to search and there is no minimum number of plants you must include. Remember not to pick the plants, respect the environment and don't touch plants you can't identify as safe!
