I won something awesome!
As some of you are aware I stumbled over @airin-ater 's giveaway and actually won!
The letter just arrived and I couldn't be happier so I'll share my excitement with you; strap in, this is gonna be a long one
(Stupid picture limitation on posts, gotta rearange everything now)
Just look at how much beautiful stuff I got! *0*
It may will seem like I'm making stuff up as it fits best but No! The odds were so hard in my favour I'm baffled!
Just in these six stickers are my favourite four reapers included already! How awesome is that??
My beautiful queen, on a shiny photograph format, I just can't.
Look at how simple yet detailed these deathscythes are
Out of all the reapers exaxtly the one I cosplay! Ksowbxuakxygwo
And then Sascha! The most underrated reaper! I loved her from the first second I saw her and I miss her so much. The fact that i got this beautiful illustration of modern Sascha is just unbelievable to me
But now
To the individual stickers
They already look adorable and beautiful on first glance But the flowers/trees chosen for each shinigami fit them so perfectly!
@airin-ater , you must've put so much effort into that research and I value that so much I have to gush over that now
(In no specific order)
Ludger, Campanula: stands for gratitude, faith and constancy (in German we say this flower stands for two hearts beating as one)
Sascha, Bouvardia: femininity and enthusiasm (in German it also is commonly associated with diversity)
William, Lantana: commonly a rigor flower (funnily enough it was once used in medicine for sexual dysfunction xD) but through age long overbreeding it got a lot less agressive and more of a backseat plant compared to other flowers
Ronald, Coreopsis: know as the "pretty face" flower, gifting this flower is said to stand for love at first sight
Eric, Quercus robus: tree of the year 1989, aka Common Oak, traditional and robust; a few very specific medical uses like preventing spitting blood and vomiting
Alan, Viola odorata: being humble and modest is usually associated with this fragile flower, but it also stands for inpending birth, protection and a strong connection
136649, Datura stramonium: everything about this tree is poisonous, the effects can range from a mild fever to death, still there is also use for it in medicine
Othello, Platanus: ancient tree and the only one in its specific family, it has minor medicine uses but mostly used ornamental
Grell, Papaver: the flower with the most known meanings for humans, stands for peace and death, forgetfulness, being oblivious, temptation, grief in love and consolation
Overall I still feel like I can't put into wirds how happy this makes me :D
Thank you Airin!
Thanks to you it was a great day :* right back at you
Ps. You have lovely handwritting

Natural spring restoration in Milan’s countryside
Back in October, when I was in Italy to visit my family, I was gifted with warm temperatures and bright days, so one afternoon I took full advantage of it with a walk to one of my favourite spots, just on the outskirts of my hometown.
Right next to a still-active farm dating back to the XVI century there once was a freshwater system of natural springs, which had eventually dried out due to a drop in ground water level. Years ago, effort was put into re-creating the lost ecosystem by carrying out a number of missions. Hydraulic works and a layer of clay soil ensured water flooded the creek again, and was retained by most of the bed. With water, the original animal and plant life slowly started re-appearing, but many tree species were re-introduced in order to create the type of forest which covered most of the plain space in northern Italy, now greatly urbanised and converted to fields. As indicated on the signs, which provide plenty of information regarding the whole story with pictures and maps, they actually tried to divide the area into three typical forests formations:
The oak-hornbeam forest, with a canopy of Quercus robus and Carpinus betulus and a shrubby layer of Prunus padus, Corylus avellana, Euonymus europaeus, Frangula alnus and Crataegus monogyna.
The black alder forest, named after the prevalence of Alnus glutinosa and other species who enjoy growing closer to water, like Viburnum opulus and Sambucus nigra.
The willow forest, with species adapted to riverbanks conditions and different degrees of flooding, like Salix caprea, Salix alba and Populus alba (more sheltered from flooding than the willows).
Other plants introduced in the area around the springs were: Acer campestre, Prunus avium, Ulmus minor, Prunus spinosa and Cornus sanguinea.
From the long wooden deck in the water it was easy to observe the numerous Squalius cephalus, known in English as European chub or just chub, swimming around. They are common across Europe and pretty common in northern Italy’s waterways. Nearby there were also some hives as the farmers use honeybees to ensure efficient pollination in the fields and collect honey.
