For those with a Child f/o in mind:

You were already half asleep when your child f/o came wandering in, voice soft and meek as they gently shook you awake and leaned in to whisper, "I had a nightmare; can I sleep with you?"

After the shock of being awoken wore off, you didn't hesitate to sit up and smile, making room for your darling baby. No matter how old they were, it didn't matter-- they were first and foremost your baby and that would never change. You sighed and snuggled up to them, soothing them as they shared their nightmare, reminding them that you were always going to be there for them as you rocked them in your arms, patted their back, and hummed a soft lullaby until you fell asleep...

Your child f/o, on the other hand, didn't fall asleep as quickly but it didn't matter- they felt safe in your arms, closing their eyes with a sweet smile as they let themself bask in the safety of your embrace.

For those with a Parent f/o in mind:

It didn't matter how old you were- you always knew that your parent f/os bed was first and foremost, your bed anytime that you needed to feel safe and close to them for whatever reason. They of course respected your wishes for independence, but secretly it never failed to warm their heart whenever you walked into their room with your pillow and a sleepy smile on your face.

Sure enough, when you walked in with your pillow all ready for bed, you found them still awake reading a book. They set it down with a soft, tender smile as they noticed you there, their eyes crinkling as they realised their sweet child wanted to spend the night with them. Whether you want to be held in your sleep or simply allowed to lie beside them, your parent f/o was only too happy to accommodate, their lips curled in a warm smile even as they drifted off to sleep with you.

For those with a Platonic f/o in mind:

Suddenly it feels like you're both kids again, experiencing a sleepover for the first time.

.... Maybe it is your friend f/o's first sleepover. You stay up late, later than you both know you probably should, just chatting and laying beside each other, facing each other in the dark as you giggle and joke and share your deepest 2 A.M. thoughts with one another in hushed whispers.

Laughter turns into mumbles, mumbled turn into mutual content silence as you both drift off with twin smiles.

For those with a QPP f/o in mind:

It's been a long day. No--- a long week. Always something that needs doing but right here in this moment, all you can think about is your partner's soft, steady breathing beside you as they hold you in their arms.

Those errands and chores you haven't done yet face from your mind, replaced by the steady warmth of their body against yours, radiating safety. They whisper to you how proud they are of you, to relax, that they got you, that tomorrow is another day, that you'll face it together.

... Together. What a lovely word. You close your eyes and turn over to tuck your head under their chin. They grip on you tightens for a moment, a subtle hug, before you finally find the peace you were looking for there in their arms.

Imagine comforting them after they lost horribly once. Again. They have a damaged ego, and heart yet conveniently you were there to raise their spirits. Don't worry f/o I'm sure the- *looks over notes* the 94th time will be the charm! Giving into their ego, maybe some words of advice probably better than what was said before. Perhaps even some comforting touch like hugs, massaging the shoulders, rubbing their back, and maybe kisses (romantic or not) or just lending your time to them would work instead. Tho if they enjoy their alone time more you could instead accommodating them with gifts, favorite drink/food, comfort item, request, ect.

Even if they don't say it all the time but they appreciate the effort you give them even if it's something small.
