So recently i found out about this project which is based in Turkey and offers free services to key groups (LGBTI-sex workers-anyone living with HIV) .

The services are provided exclusively to foreigners/refugees and individuals with any legal status. it is provided completely with 4 languages (Arabic-Persian-English-Turkish)

What kinda services ?

- Legal: any issue you might be facing like deportation, applying for resetelment in a third country, violations, if you are under threat or violance or faced sexual harrasment (verbal or physical) ...

- health: free tests and condoms/ help with doctor appoinments/ information about sex reassignment process in Turkey

- psychological: sessions with a psychologist speaking the same language

Meet Shukri Lawrence aka @wifirider, a 19-years old inspiring Palestinian born and raised in East Jerusalem. Last year, he launched his brand called "Trashy Clothing". Part of the Palestinian Queer scene, he explained to me that he wanted people to take back their freedom, he wants to help his community and he wants to reclaim the cliché that people have about Arabs. Fighting the stereotype of people in the Middle East by using fashion is basically his political statement for what he is trying to do. Reclaiming his body, his sexuality and empowering others to do what they want to do and be who they want to be. Debunk Homophobic beliefs

Hey guy, so I have alot of free time in my hand. I don’t know if its just me feeling this, or its actually happening but people arabs especially muslims have become more homophobic! The increase in appearance of lgbt people in the media somehow increased that hate! Especially that there featured in a saudi sit com during Ramadan promoting genocide against them and showing lgbt people in the worst light possible! We hear the same things, the same arguments, the same questions. Quran says so, lut were cursed, this verse and that verse, mental illness, abnormal, the west are ruining us etc etc etc. For once and for all, I want to gather all the homophobic thoughts and questions against us and find a logical answer to all. I am tired and done! So please everyone post those statements and questions so i can find the answer, because trust me there is an answer by defining those questions and answers, we can at least raise an argument or thought when needed! #queerarab #queer #homophobia #queermuslims

Intro & Purpose

I am a female bi-sexual in a romantic and passionate relationship with another woman. I was a practicing Muslim for 23 years, and I have had no-religion for the past two years. My citizenships are American and Egyptian.
