trage auch du bei zum queer feministischen (t)raum

das sp!t - queer_feministischer raum in basel, braucht eure unterstützung!

wir hatten ein tolles jahr im sp!t mit vielen neuen und alten gesichtern in der feministischen bibliothek, an treffen, sitzungen und sonstigen veranstaltungen.

schön bist du auch dabei <3

all die organisationsarbeit für das sp!t ist und bleibt unbezahlt. wir freuen uns sehr, dass dieses jahr viele neue menschen beim sp!t und bei der feministischen bibliothek mithelfen.

leider kostet raum geld. die miete für das sp!t ist 600 franken im monat.

365 franken im monat erhalten wir aktuell durch daueraufträge von ungefähr 10 menschen.

zusätzlich erhalten wir geld durch einzelne überweisungen, spenden bei öffnungszeiten der feministischen bibliothek, sonstigen veranstaltungen und treffen.

da dies alles die miete nicht deckt, haben wir und einige andere gruppen soli-veranstaltungen gemacht.

momentan ist geld da für 4 monatsmieten, das heisst bis und mit april 2024.

🌱🌳🌈 ziel ist, dass die miete durch viele menschen und kleine monatliche oder jährliche beträge bezahlt werden, das gibt viel sicherheit und entlastet. wir wünschen uns ungefähr 3 -10 CHF pro monat pro person, die es sich leisten kann. vielverdiener*innen und vermögende bezahlen gerne mehr. 🌱🌳🌈

falls je soviel gespendet würde, dass geld für mehr als ein halbes jahr (boa, das wär ja schöööön) auf dem konto ist, haben wir viele ideen für workshops, zum beispiel zu anti-rassismus, und falls noch mehr geld da ist (waaaaaas, das wär der hammer!), würden wir darüber informieren und andere kollektive vorschlagen an die ihr euer geld spenden könntet.

the sp!t - queer_feminist space in basel needs your support!

we had a wonderful year at sp!t with many new and many familiar faces in the feminist library, at meetings, sessions and other events.

we are so happy that you are part of it too <3

all the organizational work for sp!t is and remains unpaid. we are very glad that so many new people are helping with sp!t and the feminist library this year.

unfortunately, our space costs money. the rent for the sp!t is 600 francs per month.

we currently receive 365 francs each month through permanent donations from approximately 10 people.

in addition, we receive money through individual transfers, donations during the opening hours of the feminist library, other events and meetings.

since none of this covers the rent, we and some other groups have organized soli events.

at the moment, the rent is covered for the next 4 months, up until april 2024.

🌱🌳🌈 the aim is for the rent to be paid by as many people as possible, through small monthly or annual amounts, which gives a lot of security and brings relief. we would love to receive around CHF 3-10 per month per person who can afford it. high earners and the wealthy are welcome to pay more. 🌱🌳🌈

if there is ever enough money to cover the rent for more than half a year (boa, that would be amazing), we have lots of ideas for workshops, for example on anti-racism, and if there is more money (whaaat, that would be awesome!), we would inform you and suggest other collectives you can donate your money to.

but for now, let's tackle the monthly rent. let's go!!! you can do it, yay!

contribue toi aussi à l'espace féministe queer

l'espace queer_féministe de bâle sp!t a besoin de votre soutien !

nous avons eu une année formidable à sp!t avec beaucoup de nouvelles et d'anciennes connaissances à la bibliothèque féministe, aux rencontres, aux réunions et aux autres événements.

c'est super que tu sois là aussi <3

tout le travail d'organisation pour l'espace est et reste non payant. nous sommes très content.e.s que cette année beaucoup de nouvelles personnes aident à l'espace et à la bibliothèque féministe.

malheureusement, l'espace coûte de l'argent. le loyer pour le sp!t est de 600 fr par mois.

Nous recevons actuellement 365 francs par mois grâce aux commandes permanentes d'environ 10 personnes.

De plus, nous recevons de l'argent par des virements individuels, des dons lors des heures d'ouverture de la bibliothèque féministe, d'autres événements et rencontres.

Comme tout cela ne couvre pas le loyer, nous et quelques autres groupes avons organisé des événements de solidarité.

actuellement, il y a de l'argent pour 4 mois de loyer, c'est-à-dire jusqu'en avril 2024 inclus.

🌱🌳🌈 l'objectif est que le loyer soit payé par de nombreuses personnes et par de petits montants mensuels ou annuels, ce qui nous donne beaucoup de sécurité et soulage. nous souhaitons environ 3 -10 CHF par mois par personne qui peut le payer. les personnes qui gagnent beaucoup d'argent et les personnes fortunées paient volontiers plus. 🌱🌳🌈

si jamais il y a assez de dons pour qu'il y ait de l'argent sur le compte pour plus de six mois (boa, ce serait chouette), nous avons plein d'idées pour des ateliers, par exemple sur l'antiracisme, et s'il y a encore plus d'argent ( whaou, ce serait génial !), nous en informerions et proposerions d'autres collectifs à qui vous pourriez donner votre argent.

mais pour l'instant, pour le loyer mensuel. donc c'est parti !! tu peux le faire, ouiaaa !

die aktuelle Situation des Raums - es wird

ein Riesendanke an alle, die mit grossen und kleinen Beträgen zum Erhalt des Sp!t und der feministischen bibliothek beitragen! und immer noch und wieder an die die queer-feministische Soligruppe, Aktivistis, die die acero-soliglacé-aktion für uns gemacht haben, und kollektiverhalt (https://www.kollektiverhalt.ch) … und alle Menschen, die den Raum nutzen, sich einbringen und und beleben <3

--------------Zahlen: seit dem Aufruf anfang Februar bis Ende März kamen 2049 CHF zusammen, mit Einzelspenden bis 700 CHF und den ersten Daueraufträgen. im April kamen 477CHF zusammen, mit daueraufträgen und einzelspenden von 5 - 200 CHF im Mai kamen bisher 195 CHF zusammen, voraussichtlich kommen noch 272 CHF dazu. Ihr seid super!

falls es so weitergeht und durchschnittlich 400 chf im monat hereinkommen, können wir die miete bis ende januar '22 bezahlen.. das ist toll!! - und gibt uns luft, an anderen dingen weiterzuarbeiten.

Es kommen ausserdem Spenden von menschen herein, die das Sp!t für sitzungen benutzen, die werden für die laufenden Ausgaben benutzt (iwb, material, zukünftige veranstaltungen)

Es sind einige Veranstaltungen der feministischen bibliothek in Planung, wir halten euch auf dem laufenden. bringt euch gerne ein mit eigenen wünschen und vorschlägen.

Wir rufen weiterhin alle auf, sich zu beteiligen und das Sp!t und die Bibliothek zu unterstützen:

- Gruppen, Kollektive und einzelne Menschen, die sich als Frauen, trans Personen und gender-nonkonforme/gender-diverse/… Personen identifizieren und/oder von Sexismus, Misogynie und queer-Feindlichkeit + betroffen sind und ihre Freund'innen / menschen, die ein queer_feministisches Selbstverständnis haben, sich einzubringen: den Raum mitnutzen, mitgestalten, unterstützen. Wir freuen uns, wenn Menschen, die den Raum nutzen, etwas an die Mietkosten spenden können, es ist aber keine Voraussetzung, schliesslich soll der Raum für möglichst viele da sein. - Gruppen, Kollektive und Einzelpersonen aller Gender rufen wir weiterhin auf zur finanziellen Unterstützung für die Miete (600 CHF pro Monat plus Nebenksten): Richtet zum Beispiel einen Dauerauftrag mit Klein(st)beträgen ein zum beispiel mit 3.- / 5.- / 8.- / 10.- / 15.- / 20.- / …. im Monat, oder mehr, oder weniger, oder spendet einmalig, mehrmalig.

Das Sp!t ist seit Beginn ein Begegnungsraum durch Workshops, Sitzungen, Versammlungen, Lesekreise, Performances, die feministische bibliothek, etc.

Der für Treffen nutzbare Raum ist ca 4x5m gross. Der Raum ist beheizt und kann gut gelüftet werden. Es gibt stabile Stühle ohne Armlehnen und eine Klappbank für ca 15 Menschen, einen grossen Tisch, einen Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Tee, Stifte, Papier. Leider Ist der Raum nicht mit Rollstuhl zugänglich. Der eingang hat 4 Stufen mit Geländer, die Eingangstür ist 79cm breit, und genderneutrale Toilette Tür: 69cm breit.

a huge thank you to everyone who contributes with big and small amounts to the maintenance of the sp!t and the feminist library!

numbers: since the call in February until the end of March, 2049 CHF came together, with individual donations up to 700 CHF and the first standing orders. in april 477CHF were collected, with standing orders and individual donations from 5 - 200 CHF. in may 195 CHF were collected so far, probably 272 CHF will be added. you are the best!

We are happy if people who use the space can donate something to the rental costs, but it is not a requirement, after all the space should be there for as many people as possible.

The Sp!t has been a meeting space since the beginning through workshops, meetings, gatherings, reading circles, performances, the feminist library, etc.

The space that can be used for meetings is about 4x5m. The space is heated and can be well ventilated. There are solid chairs without armrests and a folding bench for about 15 people, a large table, a refrigerator, kettle, tea, pens, paper.

Da das Sp!t ein Begegnungsraum ist (Workshops, Sitzungen, Versammlungen, Lesekreise, Performances, u.a.) haben wir seit Pandemiebeginn keine Einnahmen mehr in Form von Spenden aus Veranstaltungen und Geldern für aktivistische Bildungsarbeit. Das SP!T hat sich bis zu Beginn der Pandemie zu einem großen Teil durch unsere Gehälter finanziert, die auch aus dem Kontext der Bildungsarbeit kamen. Diese Einnahmen zusammen genommen machten es bis zu Beginn der Pandemie möglich, dass sich Menschen in einem nichtkommerziellen und unabhängigen queer feministischen Bildungs- und Begegnungsraum treffen konnten. Das Alles funktioniert so nun nicht mehr und das SP!T kann von uns alleine nicht mehr weiter getragen werden.

Die Raummiete beträgt 600 CHF monatlich plus Nebenkosten, das heisst der Raum kostet pro Tag ca. 22 CHF. Wir können zur Zeit etwa 200 CHF im Monat aufbringen.

Die nächsten Mieten stehen an und wir brauchen JETZT dringend Unterstützung jeglicher Art. Schreibt uns, spendet und kämpft mit uns!

Since the space is about meeting up (workshops, meetings, gatherings, reading circles, performances, etc.) we had no income in the form of donations from events and funds for activist educational work since the pandemic began. The SP!T was largely funded by salaries of some of us, which also came from the context of educational work, until the pandemic began. Everything together made it possible that people could meet in a non-commercial and independent queer feminist learning and meeting space, until the beginning of the pandemic. All this is no longer working and the SP!T can't be supported by us alone anymore. The rent is 600 CHF per month plus utilities, which means the space costs about 22 CHF per day. We can currently pay about 200 CHF per month.

The next rents are coming up and we need urgent support of any kind NOW. Write us, donate and fight with us!

The first part of the afternoon will be a writing workshop with Otter Lieffe: Writing from the Margins: Speculative Fiction as a Tool for Organising. This will be space for connecting with each other, writing and talking. There’s no pressure to present your work, you’re welcome to come to write just for yourself if you’d like to. The second part will be a reading with texts by Otter Lieffe, as well as a talk about Trans-Feminism International.

Otter has released two speculative fiction books during the last two years (Margins and Murmurations; 2017 and Conserve and Control; 2018). The books are about queer community, resistance and the environment. Trans and working-class experiences are the centre of her writing. In 2019, Otter founded Trans Feminism International a grassroots and community-driven organisation to support and empower trans women and trans-feminine people to change their own lives and to resist the vio- lence, discrimination, marginalisation and precarity they often face. During this afternoon we want to create a space where we feel safe enough to connect with each other and to share our experiences. Safety is co-cre- ated by all of us so please come to this event with respect and an open mind.
