Calamity

The air was still, dim, and quiet

He was tall, resplendent, benevolent

A powerful soul

Effortless seduction 

In fact he was more attractive when he showed emotion

Pulled me in and I came pouring out

Like the sweet nectar of a honey suckle blossom

A dark enchantment 

I was hesitant to embark 

Young, unjust lust and frail trust

Heart on my sleeve 

Love bursting from my being

Too overwhelming to be received by just one entity

He is such a soulful calamity 

Are you a part of my destiny? 

Tyranny, with a spiritual symmetry

Unknowingly consenting to my own disparity 

A lonely Soliloquy of tangled epiphanies 

Each time he declined my desire to be invited

Raced away after every embrace

Dismissed my kisses

Thought maybe I could be Mrs.

but he relentlessly resisted

Discreetly treated me like a whore

But he always wanted more  

Praying away the memories

As I yearn for higher learning 

But there's no escaping a desperate mistake 

Some soul ties last forever

Bilking my matter

A slow death, smooth as silk

A forbidden addiction 

Toxic, but I'm forced into submission 

Flowing through my veins until every inch of my existence is devoured

Until I'm deflowered 

My conscious scours as the conversation lingers for hours

Morally, taboo 

But fuel for my soul

My weakness, we're so reckless

A war of the hearts 

I can feel you thinking of me when we're apart 

The chaotic calamity of our remedy

Zealotry erupts as we satisfy our immense gluttony 

Presently your revelry is a pleasantry 

How I long for our endless ecstasy

This is a simple piece, but people seem to like this one way more than complex pieces I’ve written so...here you go! 

Every time we link up I enter heaven's gates

How can I feel like I'm dreaming when I'm still awake 

Inhaling your sincerity with every breath I take 

Fantasizing about the explosive love we'll make 

Entering new dimensions with this transfer of energy 

I need you bad, this is an impending emergency 

Don't understand how anyone could be so good to me

Could it be that God saved you just for me? 

Tucked you away, and nurtured you each and every day

Preparing you for someone that could love you in every way

I tell you my flaws, expecting you to walk away

But when I look in your eyes there's no signs of dismay 

You kiss my hand and open all my doors 

I tell you about my insecurities but you just love me more 

Thank God my anger and heavy baggage has been resolved 

You're such an immaculate person, you make me break out in song 

When I think of your regal brawn and this glow you'be caused 

Baby I'm so excited I can't wait to see 

What our ancestors and the universe has in store for me

You're so beautiful, you got my heart racin 

No more forlorn anticipations or frustrated elations 

Emancipation palpitating through me, such a pure sensation 

I can't believe that this is true 

Do I really deserve this the way you say I do 

Feeling like Monica baby for you I will 

The electricity between us feels so surreal 

I love everything about you, you're so discrete 

From the way that you think to the fly kicks on your feet

That melanin poppin like the moonlight at midnight, you enlighten me 

It's amazing how quickly you deciphered me

And while we never know how life might pan out, I believe in manifestation baby we got that clout

That indigenous power, like Moorish meditation 

Our bond is ancient, we're the perfect equation of everlasting life, we can be the original holy trinity

I promise I'll love you infinitely, we're such a divine design 

Please give me the honor and privilege of calling you mine
