QOTD: What's the best debut you've ever read? . For me, Did You Ever Have a Family is definitely one of them! This is such an underappreciated book, but I found it to be so acomplished and moving. It's a story about family and loss, all set up to a small town background. If you know my reading tastes, then you know why I loved it. This got a lot of buzz back in 2015 when it was longlisted for the Booker, but since then, not a lot of people have talked about it.
