Hey guys, I just wanted to thank you all for the great memories that we’ve shared during my time in this fandom. Unfortunately, I lost my virginity and therefore I am no longer qualified to be a DCA fan. I’ll miss this community and it’s art greatly. 💙🧡

I was going to do something not wise, that is to write some thoughts on global north xenophobia, the myth of "polite and elegant european fútbol", and above all the concepts of "good savage"/"bad savage" that sustained the colonies system of beliefs and it still plays a (more subtle, of course) role in the construction of statements and media coverage in events that are, yes, "just" sports, but also are a cultural and social phenomenon that is not isolated of how we think about cultures, regions or ethnicities.

It was going to be about how Latam teams are Bad Savages when they play for our countries, but when they go back to the eurpean leagues they are the Good Savages again, bought with tons and tons of money to play how they learned to play in the streets of Latin America with crushed cans or balls made of rags. About how there are time and places where is ok for Brazilians to dance a cocky dance and for Argentinians to taunt, for example. You see, is when the european coaches and media say that is ok to do so.

It was going to be long, and a bit angry and for sure useless. But then I remembered that Bangladesh and basically all Latam (except joyfull and spicy rivalries that we "love to hate") and also Kerala are rooting for Argentina and I say "hey why do i get sad about what a bunch of bitter global north people say? We have the Global South with us, we are so much more". Al carajo.

So I write this, an "Almost". Just to get it a bit out of the system, but not so much to not loose the happiness over Messi and his "Andá payá, bobo".

Also, Morocco, let's beat all that boring ass futbol and share a cup. As proper Savages.

...But enough, I'll keep using my blog just to share drawings and doodles. Last mundialposting, bye.

The Skin I Live In

La Piel Que Habito

This movie follows a surgeon, trying to experiment with a new type of skin that is nearly impenetrable, keeping one of his patients in his home and the mystery behind who she is, where she comes from, and why she is his patient. If I say any more the whole movie will be ruined so I won’t go much further in summary lol.

I have very little to say about this movie without giving away the main plot twist- this movie shocked me, it had foreshadowing to the twist in retrospect, but I never could have expected what came halfway through the movie. It began a bit slow and confusing, but I was completely hooked by the middle. Disturbing, shocking, and frustrating, The Skin I Live In should be required watching for any self-proclaimed horror fan. I hated nearly every character deeply, and unlike “Les yeux sans visage”, which has a similarly troubling plot, it was very easy to follow.

I gave this movie 4/5 stars :3

Only spills your blood with your permission. Fully consensual.

Likes holding you close or having you nearby. It calms him down when he's upset or too peppy.

When you are at the hotel, he likes whisking you away to his office for kisses.

Buys you jewelry, food, clothes. A lot of gifts that are in his colors. Maybe one thing you'll wear everyday with a microphone on it.

Of course Vox is an idiot and tries to woo you but fails miserably.

"You know how much I adore you my dearest.", Alastor caresses your face. "Jusqu'à la fin des temps ou jusqu'à ce qu'il n'y ait plus que nous." (Until the end of time, or until it's just us.)

Makes sure you're content and well taken care of.

Of course there are times when he does too much and you get upset.

"Alastor, please let me do this for myself.", you'll say with a pout.

"Forgive me my darling.", he kisses the top of your head. "You know I like taking care of you, but as you wish."

He shows off his demon form because he knows you like it.

Teases you about it later in your shared hotel room, until you're hiding your blushing face.

"I thought you liked my radio dial eyes?", he leans closer, purposefully turning them into radio dials. "￦as ¡ wr¤Ω&?", he asks, static more noticeable in his voice.

"D-don't!", you'll stutter and shiver, peeking through your fingers.

His smile widens and he'll continue transforming. "What's the matter my love?", he chuckles as he looms over you. "Trouble holding back?"

Falls in love all over again when you get pissed at someone.

Watches as you tear up said demon and cheers for you. "Save me a piece or two darling!"

Man worships and adores you.

No one will ever see you make the Radio Demon blush, but you don't mind. That's only for you to see.

He's yours after all.
