reversed 3 of wands, or we should all embrace failure
I read a post on Reddit about how for some people, they struggle to follow through with their goals because they mentioned them to other people. Something about revealing their plans for their lives, career, etc. suddenly made their objectives so much harder to accomplish. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t guilty of this. I feel a sense of obligation to follow through, which I…

9 of Cups reversed, or I realized why I don't have that "big girl job" yet
In my last #quarterlygoalupdate, I mentioned how I was working on my outline for Blood of the Fallen. It is a challenging, ongoing process. Writing this new manuscript is much more difficult than it was before; it was so much easier to crank out a draft in high school. 😭

A quick update about my plans for the winter time.
December 1st, 2022 I have returned with a quick post to share a few of my goals with you for this winter. Trying New Things, Remembering Old Writing Advice
Trying New Things, Remembering Old Writing Advice
Quarterly Goal Update // October 24th, 2022 As you know, I chose Blood of the Fallen as my focus for fall quarter. I am rewriting the first draft for the indefinite future, and I decided to try some new things, like writing a prologue. After reading Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo, I rediscovered my fondness for prologues and epilogues. The first ten chapters of any manuscript are always…

Entertaining Myself Is Part of the Cure for Writers' Block
Entertaining Myself Is Part of the Cure for Writers’ Block
October 9th, 2022 I am back with a update for fall quarter. Yes, I am still brainstorming a name for the quarter. I might have to stick with this. I am having a rough start with Blood of the Fallen. Do you remember in my last update, I mentioned how I spent years struggling to find the root of my editing problem, only to be told in my last SCAD class that Axe was the main character instead of…
