We brunch so hard that I can’t help but quote one of my favourite songs by Bad manners, and have an all out nosh pit in my mouth. . . . Today it’s all about Lorraine. Of the quiche type. These beautiful little tarts are the perfect way to brighten up any gathering. They’re quick, easy, and so flavourful that even the pickiest of eaters will be asking for more. The quiche Lorraine consists of chives, gruyere (or smoked cheddar...or both like I did), and bacon. 1/2 lb of beautiful bacon. I use corn cob smoked, and then ass a bit of applewood smoked cheddar in to the mix for extra flavour. I also add my favourite thing in the world...Dill. The world needs more dill. . . . Every bite made me make sounds of pure bliss. It was truly a thing of beauty this Sunday morning. My twins are napping, and I’ve got a delicious quiche to keep me company.
