hiiii! in an effort to avoid harley comics/characterization that is similar to the run by Palmiotti/Conner, I was wondering if you felt the 2021 run was similar to that? Or if Phillips writes Harley in a more nuanced way that is worth reading? Thank you, always appreciate your posts and thoughts on Harley!

But she's definitely written better in her 2021 ongoing!! Though, as of #28 I believe, we'll be getting a new writer unfortunately so it's a bit up in the air rn on how that might turn out, but I really love what Stephanie Philips has done with her character in the time she's had with her.

So, even if past #28 goes down in quality, I'd still recommend the ones that're written by Stephanie.

There's a lot more nuance and thought put into the moments when she Does bring up J*ker and I appreciate that, it's never painted as a "aw, good times" type vibe with that. There's been discussions about masking (a professional term for like shielding your emotions and pretending to be okay when you're not), the gaslighting and Harley's internal struggle with the fact that she does want to make amends with the City she'd spent so long helping tear down.

Stephanie also has a PhD, so she's well aware of how much time it takes to earn one and there's no underlying "well, she actually slept her way to her degrees so she's not really that smart." vibe.

Harley gets to talk about her degrees a lot, I love it sm makes my brain go brrrrrr

Riley Rossmo is also the artist for a lot of the chapters and I think it's a really charming style for a Harley comic. It fits her so so well, and it also reduces the panels that you just know would have some sort of awkward, sexualized pose if it was by a different artist.

I really cannot praise it enough, especially after the mess that's been Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti running the show for her character for So Long it's like a breath of fresh air.

I think Duman was Gantlos favorite "brother" idk why but i get that vibe. Probably since he was the One carrying duman and even holding his hand at One point.

Duman is everyone's favorite, the REAL question is who his favorite is. They each assume it's them, only Duman knows the truth.

The scene where Gantlos holds his hand lives in my head rent free btw despite being a quick moment. It's very important to me and not just because I'm sad and emotional. My only problem is that I wanted more of it, just moments like that in general y'know?

Also the way Gantlos carried him but that's a different issue

No but like I said, I wanted more moments like that specific scene. Those few shots did some of the most in terms of interactions between them, which is bad because it came so late, but also because it was kinda ruined by their reactions to his death later in the episode? It threw off the vibes and I don't appreciate that smh

Hello! If it’s alright with you, I’d like to request a Genshin Impact matchup! Hopefully they’re still open lol- (btw I am amazed at the quality and speed you are putting this out at wow-) I prefer guys but honestly you can do whatever you want I don’t really mind. Go. My sense of humor is usually nonsense no one else can understand or can be pretty dark, which can cause some problems because apparently people don’t like it when someone says “oh yeah that arsonist on Thursday morning was totally me I was looking for my keys you know how it is”. Totally unreasonable if you ask me. I thought it was funny. I can’t stand when people don’t understand what I’m trying to tell them when I’ve already made it as simple as I can, or people who doubt what I know/what I can do. Also people touching me, but I can tolerate it if it’s someone I really like. If someone touches me without warning though I will hit them out of reflex before I even know what’s going on, so, uh, yeah- I prefer staying indoors since I overheat easily, and can’t see when it’s bright. (I also get sick when it rains, which is actually the only reason I have time to write this. It was raining really hard this morning and I had to call in sick since I was in so much pain lol- I mean it’s over now but I’m not about to go in at this point so shhh I was never here lol) I like to play video games (especially friendly competitive games or strategy games), listen to music, and collect shiny things or things I find funny because I am a crow apparently lol. Quick opinions for each season of SPN because I felt like it:

1. The fact that it had the highest ratings says nothing about its quality (not saying that it’s bad, just that it’s not the best solely because of the ratings. Especially given the racist truck episode has the crown)

2. Not a fan of Sam and Dean’s relationship during the Kripke era honestly. Personal taste and experience with my own siblings make me go :/

3. Was surprisingly enjoyable despite my distaste with 1 and 2. Bela deserved multiple seasons

4. THEE season and the one that feels the least Kripke-est of his era for some reason (maybe because he hadn’t planned the angels from the get go?)

5. Between not being a fan of the brother’s relationship, the overall plot being too by the book and Cas feeling too stiff this season (more than in s4) it’s not as big of a hit for me as it is for most. Not big on the season finale either.

6. I think I enjoyed it more than I thought I would because it’s the only one I didn’t have any info on, unlike the rest: I knew about Metatron, Leviathans, Amara etc. but not knowing about soulless Sam and Godstiel made them genuinely interesting. Maybe the execution could have been better but... Gamble was made showrunner for a reason

7. Sadly that didn’t pan out for 7 because all I remember besides Cas is that they squandered the leviathans (and Godstiel being solved in a single episode is almost as bad as Demon!Dean only lasting 3 episodes)

8. They turned up the gay because they thought it was the last season you can’t change my mind

9. Gadreel’s death felt very “we can’t have this character for more than one season let’s just kill him”. Any issues with Metatron feel more related to the plot than to the character himself tbh

10. Was about to throw in the towel in this season because the lack of an antagonist made it very unfocused.

11. Early season bad, good from the moment Casifer is a thing

12. A microcosm by itself on what makes good AND bad Supernatural in general

13. ...other than the widower arc which is #mybeloved, this might be my least favorite season (besides 1 and 2 which I dislike out of being too horror focused for my tastes and not being able to grade them properly)

14. Everyone loves the gorgon here but the idea of a monster targeting closeted gay men and eating them makes me squirm and I do not like it. And not because of the cannibalism.

15. Other than the final episodes (which, besides the confession, includes Despair) this was actually a pretty good season? (Some of) the throwbacks, Midam, Eileen coming back, Rachel Miner as the Entity, the divorce arc? also “the Dean I know would never give up” ”It’s the truth” in the scene right before the prayer in 15x09 > The truth being the original title for Despair > Dean giving up on life after the truth comes out > my brain goes brrrrrr
