This was very fun to draw, just threw a lot of ideas on there at the same time because I desperately wanted to make art for this awesome AU that was more serious in nature but had so many ideas that I went for multiple of them

And without the mess of text and with slightly better quality (IDK why it's more blurry in the first image honestly)

I'm gonna need people to stop blaming BookTok for the election because of one dumbass outlier's frankly insane comparison of Donald Trump to "morally gray" dark romance heroes (because I'm gonna be honest, anyone seriously comparing any presidential candidate to a romance novel character is just... operating on a very specific level)

and start looking at the rightward swing of Gen Z, the same generation that has a puritanical fascination with censorship and fear of the depiction of sex

(and let's be honest, probably a fear of sex in general)

#(Basically rant on my last two posts)#I know I've said it before and sorry for coming off as annoying–#but I really wish we still had a central bsd blog on Tumblr like fy-bungoustraydogs or bsd-central or things of the kind.#I think now everyone rushes to post news first. And although there's merit to it in knowing news as soon as they happen‚#in the long run the death of this kind of central official content ***fan*** blogs is such a huge loss of fandom spaces‚#especially for the archiving purposes they solved. Especially today that T/witter and G/oogle have basically become unusable.#Literally. Literally. I've been doing official content archiving since I was 11 #(because that's the very specific kind of mental illness I have)#and let me tell you that the quality of web search and especially reverse image search only got worse–#in a way that is very evident and noticeable. Which is crazy tbh and not how things should work.#If anyone would like to start a bsd-central kind of blog I'll be the first one to follow.#Actually if anyone actually wants to establish it feel free to contact me and I'll be more than happy to share the resources I have!!!!#It just needs to be something multi-modded for a series of reasons I won't get into right now #I just can't personally do it (not as main admin at least) because that would be modding my FIFTH active bsd blog–#and that's a little too much even for me.#On top of some ethical concerns I have regarding whether it'd be fair for me to mod a fandom central bsd blog–#when I feel like I can't genuinely share the same amount of love for the franchise other fans share #On top of. I'm so nervous to watch rise of the titans cuz I know it's going to ruin things for me. but at least I am prepared for that lmao, and since the franchise has gone (slightly) downhill for me since trollhunters I'm gonna rewatch S1 part 1 again after (I skipped it on my recent rewatch cuz I remembered basically everything off by heart lol. but I miss them. the origin story of my kids </33)

#btw i respect everyone who loves 3below and wizards just as much as th. but im sorry cuz i just personally dont feel that way :((#and i really liked them!! but nothing will compare to the love i had for trollhunters #and this is what this blog will be for for a while tbh lol. my personal feelings on the franchise #i think part of it is the decrease in quality. part of it is also i miss protagonist jim. i miss when they treated toby w respect too #also i miss anton. emile hirsch has grown on me as jims va but i still cant get over it #idk. just some thoughts #just listening to children of the sun yet again and all these feelings came to me #cuz i miss when i felt like this song represented these characters. not that i dislike them growing up #but trollhunters was their coming of age story. and that was the whole point.#and idk just aaaaahhh why are my feelings so complicated on this franchise rn 😭 rott will make it worse i dont doubt too
