The Feng-Wallace Family

Jiao Xian recently came out at the age of sixty four, much to the surprise of her twin sons Sam and Jay. They supported their mother, but are weary of her new girlfriend Kelly, a hairdresser, who comes from a less well off family. Is Kelly's love for Jiao real? Or is she just after her pension? Jay is a DJ, who lives nearby in a house share. Sam, the older twin, and more distrusting of Kelly, is head chef at the local bistro. He's married to Aisha, a junior lawyer. They have a daughter named Emily who is an introverted eight year old, interested in science. Kelly has a teenage daughter of her own from her previous marriage: Amy, who is sixteen and wants to be an actress, and who can be quite the diva, like her mum.

The Mitchell Family Madeleine is a successful surgeon. Her husband Bryce owns some of the local businesses. Their daughter Tonya is studying fashion. And son Harry is into music and wants to start a band.
