so yeah here’s Qirrasi! she’s a bodybuilder who loves plague and took the expression ‘survival of the fittest’ too literally

i was formatting Qirrasi’s bio and was like, well of course Plaguebringer has to be there, since her devotion to her is Qirrasi’s whole deal. but omgg..i didnt realize the deity icons are BIG

the other week i participated in a “give a dragon an enemy” thread and we ended up with rivals Nahidana and Qirrasi who will always throwdown with each other about whether the Flamecaller or Plaguebringer is better!

Kermes is XXX Blood and super plaesthetic! He's my clan butcher though so he better be washing his hands.

Qirrasi is best friends with Kermes and she's actually from Lightning but she wants to kiss the Plaguebringer.

Floaf is my clan's local cryptid and there's no proof they exist but some dragons swear there's a mangy tundra making honking noises in the swamp

And Raqkwin! She needs lore. But she lives in the swamp and I love her.

Qirrasi, Deslonde, and Falcata

Qirrasi... I decided I needed Obsidian Lionfish in my lair, and found this girl. Obsidian Lionfish (plus Noxtide) are definitely one of the edgiest genes available so, I needed a name to reflect that aaaand her name literally means ‘edge’ in Uzbek. ow the edge,

Deslonde! In college I got to do a wetlands relief volunteering trip to New Orleans that was really cool, and his nest was the first nest I hatched when I got back home! His nestmates got more expected New Orleans related names (Praline, Beignet, and Fleurdelis), but I named this guy, who I wanted to keep, after the street our group was staying on!

And Faclata I just named after a cool Iberian sword c: the name’s way too cool for him tbh adsfads

Tabbagh and Quirrasi

Qirrasi and Tabbagh! They certainly look good next to each other haha. obs lionfish twins B)

They’re not the closest friends, but they appreciate each other! Qirrasi absolutely admires Tabbagh for their strong plague roots and does her best to show up for as many of Tabbagh’s shows as she can - especially when they’re rooted in traditional plague dances. Those are Qirrasi’s faves c: Qirrasi, though from Lightning, is super interested in the Scarred Wasteland and will take any chance she can get to learn more about it before her planned pilgrimage. All in all Qirrasi would probably say Tabbagh’s one of the coolest dragons in Florabrisa haha

Tabbagh doesn’t really feel anything too strongly about Qirrasi. They definitely appreciate her enthusiasm for their shows but also feels Qirrasi can be a little too interested in them at times haha ssdfsd Tabbagh does find it nice to have someone who they can easily talk about things from their home about though. (Kermes still is better in that regard though, given that Kermes is actually from the Wasteland haha).

That said, they’re both fairly new members of Florabrisa, only having lived there for less than year, with Tabbagh being newer than Qirrasi. I think they’ll get to know each other more in time and Tabbagh will warm up to Qirrasi more haha. Qirrasi already has gotten Tabbagh to join her with workouts on occasion! They’re some of the only dragons in Florabrisa that do, in fact, lift. dsfdsa (their combined upper body strength..formidable)

Day 21: favorite pearlcatchers

omg...so. i don’t usually list pearlcatchers as one of my favorite breeds but really. i adore all of my pearlcatchers so much. four of my pearlcatchers ended up being picked for favorite flight representatives, and of the four remaining pearlcatchers, these three i love so much that choosing them was also a no-brainer! it did not feel like i was picking from leftovers in the slightest haha

anyway these three are Riah, Barreveld, and Qirrasi!
