WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING by KUSUO SAIKI

٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡ Inspired by Laufey's song "While you were sleeping", Kusuo Saiki falls in love with you at 3:30 am, he "hates" it ( spoiler; he does not )

warnings. pure fluff. ooc!saiki i think. corny and cheesy story i thought of at 12:47 am after thinking of the guy i like. mentions of yn. grammar mistakes. from saikis pov kinda. being in love. sweet fluff before all the angst (707 angst coming soon.) i just love saiki a lot :(.

The clock read 3:30 am, and the pink haired boy still couldn't sleep, so deep in his thoughts. But, what was he thinking about? Could it be a plan to become average and leave his friend group forever or the amount of noise there is in the middle of the night that the average person couldn't hear? or maybe it's the girl with [h/l] [h/c] hair. Probably the first one, or maybe it's the last one. It's definitely the last one.

He doesn't know how he began to think of you this late, one moment he was getting ready to sleep, the other, he was thinking of how pretty you would look if he wasn't a pyschic and without his powers. He hates how you left him in this position, while you were sleeping without a care in the world, Kusuo Saiki had just began to fall in love with you. He absolutely hates it (he doesn't. he's lying to himself again.)

He just hopes it's a one time thing, that your playing mind games with him (how is that possible??? he's a god damn psychic!!) and that when he does go to sleep, that it'll never happen again. Yeah, this is just a one time thing...

It's 9:76 am. Six hours after that predicament. And he was so wrong, since that night, he couldn't bring himself to sleep without the thought of you within him, each time he did try to sleep, you were in his dreams. One way or another,you started to appear in his daily thoughts more and more often. When he was getting ready for school, everything and everywhere he went and did, you were in his mind. Like a lost puppy you were following him around in his thoughts, he absolutely hates it. He hates how when he gets to school you're there and you're talking to your friends and spot him and wave at him with your dumb smile. He hates how after class you greet him and both of you hard to lunch, he hates how you know that he likes being alone and leave him to himself, knowing well enough that he doesn't mind being with you, even if it means he's sacrificing his own time just to be with you.

And he's back at square one, the clock ticking and the time is 3:30 am, thinking of you again, how candy can't compete with how sweet you are, that the way you smile might as well be on par with Teruhashi, how your kindness and friendliness can make someone's teeth fall out. Everything about you is on his mind, and while you're sleeping again, like a baby, he's falling more and more deeper in love with you.

Sweet and Kind YN LN stuck in Kusuo Saiki's head, and he's beginning to like it, he likes everything about you, he likes how you always get him coffee jelly, even though you don't like coffee. He likes how you try to get him away from his and yours friend group just for you and him enjoy the silence for a while, he loves loves loves the idea of being your boyfriend one day.

And maybe that idea might become true. He just hopes that when it does, the both of you will be in bed together awake at 3:30 am and in love.

VAL TALKS?!? back again :3 it's been a couple of weeks but i have school and i'm busy most of the time living life and going to school:) i wrote this because i was bored and start playing mystic messenger again and i thought of the guys i like :). i'm not sure i'm back for good, but i like writing and i have a 707 angst that's being brained stormed rn so i wanna focus on that and other stuff rather than just over work myself to point where writing isn't fun anymore to me:) it'll take some time for me to come back but i'll write and post every so often :) asks are open!! send me stuff of your favs!! especially mike from the fnaf i want to write him, so send requests!!

The final purge as it was called came to a halt...no one truly knows what occurered. Maybe the angels simply ran out of steam? They took too much damage, had to retreat? Maybe the plague wasnt as honest with his fathers backing as said...some say though that whatever happended in wrath, that strange overwhelming surge, some say a weapon had been forged that could kill even the father above and the angels rushed back to heaven in preperation of this weapon being used.

No one knows for sure. But they stopped. Though hells rings are sweeping with damages in ruin...who knows how many sinners purged but that is not what should be concering the queen of glutton. No she should be fearing the pyschical contract.

The deal with a sin who's heart was cruel as the void. 101 of demons and sinners. Never make contracts without reading the final print by offering a price it was taken for its fine print when the contract arrived was a master-class of deception. It read plainly

"all purge related measures, deals, and any agreements will be dissolved upon the ending of the purge. Contract will then set further dealings upon the defualt percentage of 25% of gluttons food growth. If the contract is refused or destroyed contengies in subsection 3-a will enact and gier guld will given contractual right to sieze all assests it believes shall serve to feed The Quantum Isles."

It was highway robbery in clearest terms and simplifies why gier accepted such a pitiful deal. He had no intentions of keeping it...nor did he intentions of taking a lower deal. Plainly the contract stated "your giving it or im taking it."

Upon reading as if somewhere across the lakes of greed up high above the bustling streets and smog filled skies a figure knew they were wearing it and like dramatic effect the tone and tension in the air if there was one would shift more.

The phone began to ring.

And one bug man couldnt be smiling wider if he tried. Suckers...all of em.

What I've Read

Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir by Jeremy Barlow - A comic book that covers some plot that didn't make it into the end of the Clone Wars cartoon. I'm glad to have read this stuff, I think it would have been nice to see in the Solo movies that got killed by virtue of not being very good, I found the comic books heavy on plot and low on character moments. 

Ocean’s Echoby Everina Maxwell - A queer sci-fi romance between a very messy and charismatic aristocrat and a deeply intelligent solider with actual morals (something this military system tries to discourage). They fight crime! Aka, stop a military coup, discover the propaganda behind their understanding of a  past war, work for the good of some second-class citizens, and also fall in love a bit. I really enjoyed this - it's got a lot of plot and lots of chances to see both main characters reveal their core character traits in high tension situations. Many many chances for the main couple to be wildly into how competent their partner is. (I personally read one of the main couple as potentially autistic, but it's not explicit on the page bc scifi.)   I kind of adore how they play with the soulbond/psychic link element, dealing with all the ways it could be awful while allowing the characters to avoid it and form a connection on their own terms. I think this would actually be a great book for someone who does not like pyschic bonds at all in their fiction, weirdly enough! Maxwell does great books for couples who are stuck together through circumstances and come out triumphant on the other side with a deep appreciation for their partner's qualities as a person. 

What I'm Reading

2312 by Kim Stanley Robinson - "Hard" sci-fi in the sense that we're paying a lot of attention to quantum computers and their potential for murder!  Book club book that I think is actually interesting - I think now that I find the exploration of what sex and gender might be like in the future to be a bit cis-centric. (A large number of space-based people have longevity treatments that involve sex organ modification such that many, many of the characters can both inseminate someone else and become pregnant -the author does not seem to be interested in what that would mean for gender in space or on Earth?) I suspect there is a romance in here building but it's hard to pin down. Definitely one of those books where some readers will bounce off the main character "making stupid/bad choices."

To Seek and Find- Tamryn Eradani - This used to be Destiel fanfic and I cannot tell you how well it reads as a non-fandom book, because I'm definitely reading it as a fandom book. Kinky and cozy! Might technically be a novella and I will probably opt to purchase the next few books in the series.

Here is my s/i! her name is Chérie Juria and she is the shortest of all the characters! XD and here is an old edit of saiki k anime card that I got the chance to post just now lol. Should I tell more about Juria? Oof I will use this post to tell more abt her. Juria is entirely inspired by my appearence irl. Well as you can see her shirt is a lil bit shorter and her skirt is longer than average( edit: it’s past her knees now that I thought of it, but I’m lazy to redraw so uhh ) and she uses black pantyhose. She also has a psychic power Her personality is laidback and sometimes goofy, she likes to make as many friends as possible and uses her power to help others, her first friend from PK academy was Chisato Mera, and she considers Mera as a sister she never had. She is down to whatever idea her friends think of, beach, sleepovers, etc. she hangs out pretty often with Saiki, Nendo, Kaido and Kuboyasu, being a part of “the gang” (she also invites akechi to hang out with them) and usually go to cafes with yumehara and other girls.  The first time she saw Akechi was when he introduced himself in class, and later asking to sit with him at lunch, she took a liking on him almost immediatly and as time went by, she often invited him to hang out, talk, etc. They developed a rlly good relationship but they’re both shy dorks pining, she saw herself on him when he talked about his bullies and she empathizes with him. She finds his mind rather intriguing and is impressed by how smart he is.
