I mean what probably makes underground duels and illegal duels .... illegal is probably betting as nothing in other series ever talk about legal tournaments having bets and such and lets face it, that's universal as long as there is a competition.

True, gambling does always tend to get people in trouble. And it makes sense that a sport as big as dueling is would attract people who would want to bet money on the outcomes and try to make themselves rich off it that way.

luckily it seems the salt crowd is going to be fighting with vr since the VR fandom's reaction to the show was "WHAT IS THIS SHIT???? VR WAS SOO MUCH BETTER. WHY WAS IT CANCELLED FOR THIS???" And they're still bitter so the fandom fighting is going to be between 7 and Vr

Please, I’ve seen both 1st episodes of both series, and I can vouch that 7 is better in every aspect than vr xD, and while I’m glad we will be spared from the discourse this time, I would rather if people let the basics and the stand to boil in their own bile, and let their salt die with them, but I think that’s hoping for too much *sigh*

And honestly this attitude they’re showing now only proves who really was the negative side of the fandom all along.

They later confirmed in an interview that 5D's is Five Dragons. And considering Ono's next YGO series has yet another important series of dragons, I think we can all realize that Ono likes dragons and who can blame the man. They are really cool

Lol, yeah I can’t really blame him for that either. Dragons are pretty awesome. XD I’d have my stories revolve around them too if I was a writer/director.

especially after they kept calling us the "elitists" just cause we didn't like VR. Yet most A5 fans are either watching or don't really care

Pretty much, at most we were just defending ourselves from constants attacks from their side; and since so far 7′s fandom is being chill, we are also being chill; all their logic of us being elitists is moot now, ha :’D
