#pokemon rejuvenation#oc bracket#mona#mona's first run#art#this has been sitting in my files since may and ive slowly chipped at it till now. my god.#im like. half happy with it. i enjoyed making it and put a lot of thought. however.#the passage of time. i loathed not finishing this sooner.#god its hard writing mona's dialogue. the main takeaway relies on how they face the After when paragon is complete. this is given that#everyone lives including Ren.#and the general unanswered question if they remain as the interceptor after xenpurgis. or if they're left to live. is the world still#dictated by Karma? who knows! i don't know shit! so their dialogue was made with that in question.#i want to give mona an eventual talking style. i have it in my head but writing it doesn't come out right.#this dialogue was a while ago but somewhat still accurate so i kept it for the most part.#a lot of internal thinking in them. thats smth huge i put down for them. rabbit heart rabbit brain#goes a mile a minute. craves the day where they don't have to worry about running. etc.#i hope to get dialogue down. someday.#anyways. i love the shenanigans i put down here.#the lost camp kids are not the same ones in canon i added new ones for funsies.#and mona's crush is not. rlly shown. but it is present. i like to think the obvious point for them crushing isn't rlly nervousness#but loosening up a lot more. especially facial expressions.#and renmona goes out on a shopping trip. i hope i added character to make mona unique... im v worried about that. enough of that though#anyways. had many breakdowns. suffered many art blocks. bon appetite.

#one of the things I have to be careful of this school year#is not putting all this pressure on myself to suddenly be wiser and more stable and more knowledgeable than I am right NOW#not to mention organized#my ambition with teaching has grown sooooo much as my teacher self has stabilized#like oh shoot. I want to be ACTUALLY good at this. not just getting by on personality or passion#but idk. that can just open up all sort of rabbit holes for me to fall down. where I panic about not knowing more or being a different kind#of teacher. like I just need to a) stay the course. b) make small changes to be more disciplined/try to teach writing/grammar a little bit#better. a little bit at a time.#because it’s already such an overwhelming job#also on a more profound level I need to keep remembering it’s not about me and asking God to guide me#because it’s like. there are just suddenly a lot of eyes turned my way#in terms of just being like ‘yeah you’re a Real Teacher now’#not that they’re even saying it. but the kids have accepted it. the student body has accepted it#(benefit of staying in the same place for 5 years)#and so it is a whole new pressure#but yeah. I think not giving in to it and just trying to chip away at being more organized and more in-depth and a better communicator#and assessor#(sp?) and just yeah all of it#just reflecting. and rambling.

basically done setting up my new room YEAAAAA
#the amount of peace of mind that having a cute room to come home to brings me is incredible#no more fugly boxes and bags and storage!!! all my stuff is unpacked and easily accessible!!! yeah!!!!!#someone stole my ikea mirror which sucks cause now i have to buy a new one#but once it comes my room will be even cuter!!! i have this vine of fake rose hips that i’m gonna put around it#tbh i think this room is even cuter than my room at my old apartment. and i loved that room to death#this one is just so much neater & cleaner & has more decorations up & more storage space#only thing is the paint on the walls is kinda chipped & there r a bunch of nail anchors in the walls too#but i can fix that if it really bothers me that much#reminder to myself that i should sweep/swiffer the floor again & wipe down the shelves just to make sure everything is clean#i should also get some posters & art but i don’t even know what of#most of my interests do not exactly have cutesy merch i feel like it’d stick out like a sore thumb#but i’m sure i’ll figure something out if i ever get around to it#yay!!!!!!!!!!

I made a dentist appt for the first time in way too long. Wish me luck 🤙
#it’s in the morning and I am putting off sleep#I used up all the free lives in my silly little puzzle game tho….#so I guess I will force myself to sleep#the appt is specifically for a cleaning#but I know I’ll have to go back to get a couple cavities filled#also I do have a chipped tooth (which I think used to have a filling?? but that must’ve come out when it broke)#but my health’s been wonky and a bunch of tests came back normal so maybe it’s bad teeth health 😔#(tests were normal but I swear they didn’t do the ecg for long enough (barely 24hrs)#(also they put it on wrong the 1st time and had to redo it bc they couldn’t read it)#(and it happened to be a day I felt great)#(also Dr said my bp was low but within normal range)#(it’s regularly like 109/60 or so. sometimes 90/60. p sure I even saw a 60/40 once but I didn’t write it down so i guess it could be wrong)#I need to request my records and check haha;;;#ok I’m tired of holding my phone up so I’m going to sleep now
