Nuju abuses his authority as a Turaga to ask Kopaka to sled-shield away anybody who bothers him, like a king asking his most trusted guard to execute every fool who is not adequately funny

And then one day Kopaka goes that's it, your turn on the sled, and Nuju goes wait no that's illegal but it's too late and he's already sliding down the mountain looking like a disgruntled wet owl

first of all you're a genius. secondly YES I have always thought that Kopaka has a very loyal type of respect for Nuju where - although he never listens to anyone else - he would very calmly do just about anything that Nuju told him to. the other Toa Nuva are shocked anytime Nuju whistles something sharp, Matoro turns to Kopaka to go, "sorry, Toa, but he says he wants you to ..." and Kopaka gets up to do it immediately and without question. it's a cultural expectation and something he does because he loves his Turaga. yes this sometimes makes Nuju slightly high on power. it's fine, he was an Ice Toa once too

no one but Nokama is aware of this, but Kopaka would also blindly obey her because she is the only person his Turaga respects completely, and there's that kind of bond between Ga-Matoran and Ko-Matoran anyway.

but on the other hand Kopaka would absolutely get Nuju out of danger without his permission (the same way that Nuju has literally yanked Kopaka out of danger with his mask when he saw that he was about to fall). sometimes, this means Kopaka freezes walls in front of places Nuju wants to go, quietly handles threats before Nuju can decide he's going to handle them himself... or that he freezes Nuju to a two-foot sled and sends him down the side of the mountain, whistling shrilly the whole way down. Matoro does not need convincing, he's got an ice shield and is enjoying the ride down with him
