Ok serious time, let me mansplain to you all the possibility of Skully being alive

Establishing first of all, Twst has kept Skully's nature vague

Simply put: we don't know if Skully is human. In his live 2D, Skully's ears are completely covered. Even in his illustration, we can barely see his ears. It's an interesting design choice. However, in his chibi (which wasn't revealed until Episode 5), we can see his ears aren't shaped like a fae, but are round like that of a human.

However, it's pretty hard to think he's human either, when we consider his "moshi, ne moshi" greeting in Episode 1 and its connection to the supernatural. Voiced, to be noted. Exactly what kind of creature he could be is currently unknown, but because this part was voiced, it's something we need to pay attention to at the very least.

In regards to his mortality, the only clue we're really given is Skully himself saying that he may never meet us except through Halloween, which implies a lifespan similar to a human or something similar. But Skully doesn't know how far into the future that the cast is from. Heck, does he even know of his nature?

Now, addressing that invisible kiss...

I feel like this is the main thing that told all of us that Skully is long gone. Heck, if you catch me in my right mind, I might just tell you that yeah, that should be enough proof that Skully is dead! Little signs from the dead such can manifest in similar ways to what Jamil and Leona sensed: hearing a kiss and feeling a kiss on your hand.

(unfortunately i'm not in my right mind so you're getting my dumb reasons why i'm arguing for otherwise)

However, if Skully is gone, I find it interesting that this is the way they decide to show it. We already know from the very first Halloween event that ghosts can manifest all year round in Night Raven College due to the high concentration of magical power in the area. Outside of that, they cannot be seen. If they really wanted to confirm with the audience that Skully is a ghost, they could have had him appear as such at the end, when they all returned to Night Raven College.

But they chose a scenario where people can draw a lot of conclusions from it: Is their senses getting fucked over as they wake up? Are they still reeling from the magic of the book? (though rationally, we know that Leona is not one to be easily stunned, so the first question is at the very least easy to dismiss)

I've also seen some people theorize that he's using invisibility magic during the invisible kiss scene. And well, while I find that funny, it makes me wonder if he could be some other kind of spirit that's not dead. Like an undead of some sort, which the residents of Halloween Town are. Heck, Azul's card line about Skully talks about how he seems to fit right at home with the Halloween Town residents. Again, we don't know Skully's true nature, but the possibility of him being a species that can turn invisible is interesting.

Moving on, we have what Dire Crowley stated about Skully

At the end of the event, Crowley tells us that he found Skully’s portrait while rummaging through the storage and shows it to us and the 11 boys who went inside the book

What he tells us is that Skully J. Graves is a NRC graduate from hundreds of years ago, before Crowley was Headmage. Note that he only was appointed for the position 100 years ago; the Skully we met is at least from around 200 years ago. During his NRC years, Skully got to share Halloween to NRC. It was a hit, and when he graduated, he spread Halloween all over the world in his travels.

I'd like to take a little detour first to discuss something that's been weighing on my mind: Some people have thought that Crowley is lying to us when he speaks about Skully and his achievements, but... I don't see why he would lie. For one, there is a decent chance that Crowley might not have gotten to see Skully. Even if he did, it's even more unsure if he was involved in Skully's affairs.

However, there's one main reason why I do think that Skully got to live a fulfilling life instead of facing an overblot that killed him or some other tragedy. I'd like to dedicate a longer post to this matter, but to make it concise, I think through Skully, Twst is starting to establish something new regarding their history. I think that historical teachings, folktales and stories, and rumors that are well-known tend to be lies or twisted truths. Whereas those that are obscure and not known are actually what occurred. Skully is called the King of Halloween who's done so much to spread the holiday to the world, yet not even NRC students, who should be the first to know considering that Skully is an alumna, know of him. Although there may be other reasons why that's the case, I like to think that at the very least, Skully's obscurity indicates that he did live the life he wanted and succeeded in working for a future that generations after him can enjoy.

Anyway, that actually isn't the main point of this section of the post, but I kind of want to air that out first. The main point is that Crowley only really said that Skully is a former NRC student from hundreds of years ago who traveled around the world to spread Halloween. But he never told us where he was buried or whether he saw his ghost roaming NRC. He never said anything about Skully being dead.

He probably said the hundreds of years ago bit, carrying the assumption that of course, Skully may have passed away. But we have to remember that we have long-living species in Twisted Wonderland. Fae that were students 200 years ago are very likely to be alive now. Crowley himself is a long-living creature, having been Headmage for 100 years. I think with that in mind, it's important for him to emphasize that Skully's gone if he really is. But he never mentioned it. Therefore, there is a good chance that Skully might just be somewhere else. That or Crowley just doesn't give a fuck where his alumni go, and I might be thinking too deeply about the absence of certain words. Honestly, that's a pretty good chance too.

Lastly, we have the scene where Jack Skellington gets shot down but survives it

Here's where it gets a bit more into speculation, but you're going to have to hear me out.

In the movie, Jack Skellington gets shot down by the military for impersonating Santa Claus. When the Halloween Townspeople watched it, they all despaired, and the mayor started declaring to all that Jack has been blown to smithereens and proclaimed him dead.

But that's not what happened: we find Jack landing on an angel's statue, alive and definitely not blown to smithereens.

And considering that Skully is still very much twisted from Jack Skellington... do you think the writers are pulling a similar move? Making us think that he's dead, just as the townspeople thought he was dead, only for us to learn eventually that he's alive.

This of course depends on what happens eventually in the sequel. From the way things are proceeding, what happened in the Lost in the Book with TNBC is events prior to the movie, and we could very well have the sequel be set during the movie events. (If you ask me, I kind of doubt that actually. I feel like Skellington got inspired by Skully's love for Halloween, enough to stay true to his identity as the Pumpkin King, which would mean the movie wouldn't happen the way we know it. So if anything, I feel like TNBC 2 would focus less on the actual movie and more on the side games where Oogie takes over Halloween Town and even kidnaps Santa and other people, but I admit, that's a stretch, especially considering that we will get Santa giving Halloween Town a taste of Christmas)

Of course, this post is really just to let some of my copium out. Rn, it's still safe to assume that yea, Skully's dead. And though I am coping hard for Skully to be alive, with the way Twst treats the dead, it's not exactly a bad thing. Ghosts continue to stay in NRC like they're living people. They honor the dead, and let the dead live among them. And even if he is in the afterlife and not stuck in the mortal plane, I have faith that Skully did live a fulfilling life that may have been forgotten but clearly changed the world. :'D

It’s the daddy issues probably but he’s just so jejehsoskdiosbeid. “What the fuck is she doing.” Imagining him growling that out in concern and anger is doing things to me. But I have to agree with the other ask! I dont know who said it but I loveeeeeeeeeee your dialogue. It can be really hard to convey emotions through writing but somehow you’re able to do it.

A pair of lips delicately brush your cheek. Your eyes flutter open, groggily blinking the sleep from your eyes as you slowly register the owner of the offending lips. To no one’s surprise, it’s Dazai’s smug face that beams back at you, grin softening as he teases, “Look who fell asleep again~ If you weren’t so cute, I might be offended y’know?” His playful pout causes you to giggle, your boyfriend already helping to make waking up so much less vexing than usual.

Retaliating to his teasing remarks, you attempt to ruffle his messy tuft of black hair but find that his head is sadly more than an arm’s length away, much to your dismay. Looking back down at your disheveled bedhead fondly, Dazai pulls you into his arms as you release a few indignant retorts. The movie you two were watching had been in its closing scenes, but when he looked towards you to ask your thoughts (and ask why you’d been so quiet after literally the first thirty minutes), he was met with your very cute, very endearing, very much asleep expression, eyes shut and mouth slightly ajar. Your head was adorably leaned against the crook of his neck, and he would prefer not to admit it, but he had spent more time than he realized just admiring your dozing features silently, appreciating and marveling at this human who made him feel so loved. Past Dazai would have scoffed at a serious romantic relationship that didn’t end in double suicide, but right now, the thought of not being able to spend peaceful moments like this with you was the most excruciating punishment he could possibly imagine. How could he imagine someone else when even just your sleeping face was so incredibly adorable to him?

Your freshly-awake ramblings brought him back to the present. Dazai lets his fingers drift and find its place loosely running down a stray strand of your hair, twirling it cheerfully as he listens to you continuing on.

You suddenly stop your rant, staring at him with an amused expression on your face before you gently prod his side, “What’re you so deep in thought about?” You pondered the possibilities, “Could you be thinking about what to eat? I’m pretty hungry too after that nice nap!”

“No, no,” Dazai dramatically denies your question, waving his hand dismissively, “Well - I’ll never say no to a snack, but I was actually mesmerized! You just look so cute when you’re sleepy~”

You playfully roll your eyes, nudging him with a teasing “uh-huh.”

“Is that why I can get away with falling asleep around you?” your smile is warm as you meet his eyes, and Dazai’s heart quickens just slightly, “I told you that you can wake me up since I sometimes fall asleep before I realize. I appreciate you always taking care of me though, Dazai. You’re a very good boyfriend for that~”

Your praise is music to Dazai’s ears as his lips quirk into a smirk, “Oh-ho, am I finally getting the appreciation I’ve been deserving? I’m glad you finally noticed!” Your boyfriend’s hand pats your head affectionately, and you laugh aloud as he plasters a quick sloppy kiss to your forehead.

You’re about to playfully call him out for his touchiness but your boyfriend’s chest immediately puffs out theatrically, “But don’t you worry! I’m self-sworn to protect my sleeping beauty for as long as I live - actually, even from the grave!”

Dazai’s sudden knightly attitude cracks you up as you swiftly duck out from under his hand. You grin widely at his antics before matching his energy with a statement fitting for a true princess: “oh, ya - uh! ok thanks buddy! so then, Sir Dazai, lead the way to the kitchen and let’s make a mid-movie - oh, never mind the movie’s over - a post-movie snack!”

Dazai’s cheers ring through your apartment as he eagerly yet still surprisingly delicately, always being careful to keep you unscathed and present by his side, grabs your hand and escorts you into the kitchen.

The plan was to make brownies. So, why is Dazai furiously beating a bowl of grainy “whipped cream” that he’d made using a combo of water and specifically granulated, not confectionary, sugar? Why is more brownie batter on cabinet doors than in the baking pan? Why is the salt tipped onto its side, spilling its entire contents into some kind of abstract shape on the countertop?

One reason: food fight. Maybe your abundant sleeping habits had finally caught up to you, but you had never felt as invigorated and actively mischievous as you had when you’d swiped some brownie batter onto your boyfriend’s face. It was worth it! You think. You thought. Dazai’s brown hues absolutely shined with mirth at your pathetic attempt of provoking him. You were prepared for him to laugh it off and call you adorable, maybe naive for playing with fire, but ultimately he would chuckle and move on. Except, that did not happen. Instead, he had immediately retaliated with an even bigger glop thrown into your hair, partly accidentally and partly to be a li’l gremlin, and oh boy, it just escalated from there.

The whipped cream Dazai had whipped up for “quick ammunition” was quickly used up - Dazai scooped it, and the heap had seemed to grow impossibly bigger with every additional spoonful. Currently, his smile was widening and creepily stretching ear-to-ear as his starry eyes zeroed in on your vulnerable form.

The ruthless battle continued for a while, but after finally agreeing to a truce, you both couldn’t help but stare at the resulting mess with equally blank stares.

“Mm... okgoodnightbabe! I’ll see you in the morning!” You almost trip over yourself as you flee, throwing a cursory glance at your incredulous boyfriend before giggling and rushing to close the bedroom door before he can follow. Dazai’s whining carries through the solid wood, but you playfully call back, “I’ll give you anything you want - just pleasee do the cleaning! And if it’s too much, come to bed and we can deal with it in the morning together, ok?”

You could clearly picture Dazai’s pout in your mind as the sound of his footsteps fades towards the kitchen. Smiling fondly, you quickly change into your pajamas and hop into your shared bed to wait for his return. However, listening to the distant clanging of bowls and whooshing of the tap water proved to be an effective lullaby, and you couldn’t help it as your eyes began to flutter and eventually stay closed.

By the time Dazai finishes cleaning, the dark night sky was starting to brighten and mix with the warm oranges and reds of sunrise. He quietly opens your bedroom door and is met, not really to his surprise, by your sleeping lump of a body. Dazai’s brows furrow slightly, but he quickly notices the open book laying by your form and realizes that you had been up waiting for him. He could also tell you by the blankets messily strewn around you - usually you preferred having them wrapped around you like a tight burrito.

At that, Dazai lightly chuckles, his heart warming at the thought. He takes his time putting on a fresh set of clothes and rolls his eyes as he ever-so-gently tucks the blankets over you. The bed shifts as he climbs in carefully, but Dazai quickly freezes as you start to mumble quietly. Your words are inaudible, even as Dazai strains his ears to hear any (possible) secrets that you could be spouting. Shifting restlessly, you roll around and suddenly shoot out your arm, making an interesting grabby motion. Dazai almost lets out a laugh as he wonders what in the world you could be looking for, but his eyes widen when you make contact with your boyfriend and immediately calm down, hand gripping his shirt loosely.

As your body relaxes, Dazai feels a wide smile creep up his face, adoring and almost grossly soft. And he lets it. He just can’t help himself - he leans in and places an affectionate kiss on your forehead, lingering there before pulling back and squeezing next to you under the covers. He shifts your arm into a more comfortable position, and as you unconsciously flip to face him, Dazai’s eyes soften into a sweet but intensely warm chocolate brown. If you had been awake to open your eyes, you would have witnessed a rare but genuine sight: your boyfriend’s peaceful expression illuminated by the quiet sunlight of dawn, his eyes deeply staring into yours with endless messages of comforting assurance and happiness, and his lips subtly quirking into a tenderly loving smile shared only for the two of you.

MJ’s favorite flower being a Black Dalia because of the murder. Literally a girl I can relate too. Murderinos for life sister. Idk but it just made her sooo relatable!

The fact that Brad is a kid grown up from the blip and that made him seem all the weirder for MJ.

Jealous Peter was so freaking amazing! Oh my gosh! That face he’d get. I’m a sucker for jealousy and they did it so good.

Making MJ this awesome character she was before but also obviously has this softer layer where she does have flaws and insecurities and she’s really sweet but also so badass. That was amazing.

The starting relationship between Peter and Beck. It was cute and so I was sad knowing that Beck was somehow going to be the villain.

Also let’s talk about how Beck is basically Syndrom from the incredibles.

That scene with Peter and Brad....the pure terror when he snapped that picture

Also seeing how big of a dick Brad is and how unhealthy jealous he was.

“Nick Fury” getting ghosted, showing up in Venice, tranquilising Ned (don’t touch him you monster) and then promptly highjacking Peters Summer trip.

Showing the emotional trama Peter is going through. The anxiety, the greiving. It was very reminiscent of Iron Man 3 when Tony suffers from PTSD after the battle of New York. I loved that they showed Peter reacting as any kid would, many adults too, which is to just try and forget anything happened but being faced with the reality every day. So well done.

Happy and May’s relationship. Enough said 😂😂

I feel cheated we didn’t see Mr delmore again.

Addressing all the problems the Blip/Snap created. High school aging, school, drinking ages, homelessness and housing issues. That’s just the start of it I’m sure but they covered those pretty well and I love that.

The technology that made Beck into Misterio was so well done. Instead of some frankly, kinda far fetched story that he came from an alternate earth (which I was willing to believe but felt it was a cop out in terms of plot and character) they showed the real world issues that superhero’s can create. The Enemies that have a real deep rooted hatred for hero because they’ve personally been betrayed or wronged by them. Because marvel has always made clear, everyone is not on the hero’s side.

Steeping Misterio’s powers in tech which is classing marvel but again, so brilliantly done in this movie. I loved the development. Because at first glance, half way through, I was thinking “wow this is really kinda weird and unexplained and too witchcraft for what marvel usually brings to the superpower backstory” I know it’s weird to say after everything marvel has done. But it seemed just a tad out there without being too hard to grasp. Which again was brilliantly done because that was the whole point.

The nod to Misterio’s helmet even when Beck was in the hologram suit watching everything play out. I guess it was his screen? But I loved the staple of even without his big over the top suit he still had the trademark helmet. Great costume design.

Peter’s soft gazes towards MJ. Nearly gave me a cavity they were so sweet! Ahhh sooo cute

Mr. Harrington’s marital problems nearly made me pee my pants....we all knew here in the fandom that shit like that would half to happen but my god lol

The opera scene was sooo freakin cute and that one step Peter took when he saw Brad move in was so freaking cute and hot!

MJ running after him and finding the critical peice of information to crack the case wide open. Loved it.

Betty and Ned’s Sicily sweet romance that you knew couldn’t possibly last. They really nailed the realistic high school romance. But I still ship it.

The bus scene was epic. And when Peter knocked Flash out...god it was amazing.

Him trying to save MJ when she’s “thrown off the Eiffel Tower”

Every traumatizing thing Beck shows and tells him during the illusion. So shitty.

Seeing Tony’s grave, seeing iron man come out. That was awful and we all felt it in the movie because we’ve lost him too. We could FEEL that slap same as Peter.

Beck telling Peter that Tony’s death was his fault. I was abouta hurl myself at the movie screen.

Every illusion done in a way that just when you think it’s over, it’s never stopped. You forget what’s real and you feel trapped in it same as Peter does.

WHEN HE GETS HIT BY THE TRAIN!!!!!!!!!! Nearly had a damn heart attack!!!! My mom had to look over and ask if I was ok because I literally stopped breathing for a solid 30 seconds.

Showing gradually just how insane and evil Misterio was.

Happy and Peter opening up to each other was so awesome considering their relationship in Homecoming.

ALL THE TONY and PETER PARRELLS! All of them!!!!!!!!! Not the people saying “Spider-Man’s the next Ironman” no the actual hints and glimpses at how similar him and tony actually are. The hologram gauntlet shot, a straight parallel to Iron Man when Tony is building his first real suit. Obviously “Back in Black” by Led Zeplen (formally known as AC/DC) playing. Important. His amazing skills at the end trusting his instincts (which is great because May says in regards to MJ, but it applies to this too) May tells Peter to trust his instincts and don’t think too much. And that’s what he does when he defeats Beck.

Nico Attacks: A Campfire Story, Ch. 4

Summary: Maki is hoping Nico is out of tricks, but will there be a treat?

Trick or....?

The music was still playing. And pernicious. It had to go. Maki found the speakers, but they were secured in strong harnesses. To keep her safe as well as random animals and children who might wander by(although Nico had a twitch about chipmunks for some reason). Maki imagined Nico climbing up trees to set everything up. For better or worse, Nico was all about the personal touch. No one did anything like Nico. It had fascinated Maki from her first encounter with the charismatic, ambitious, and quicksilver charmer she’d married. The lantern caught a glint of pink. Ah, Maki had tracked the source of the evil, Nico’s back up mp3 player. Maki reached up to pull it out of its cozy case, and resisted the urge to stomp it into the ground. It wouldn’t have damaged it though, like Nico, it was made of surprisingly resilient material. When other people saw Nico and thought soft, tiny, fluttery petal, Maki just chuckled and waited for them to crawl, battered and crying, out of whatever battle arena they’d chosen to confront Nico in. Urban or wilderness environment, social media or backstage fan meet and greet, Nico thrived. Not that the Nishikino mountain camp was a particularly wild spot, still Nico was as much in her element here as performing on a stage or anonymous in downtown Tokyo, elbowing people out of the way for rare Idol collectibles.

Maki sighed, she couldn’t imagine Nico had a prank climax better than forced listening to deliberately awful versions of Maki’s original creations, but it was Nico, so there were always surprises. She had the sudden urge to just turn around and have Nico right there, ready to be pulled into her arms and distracted from further chaos. But first, some payback was required. Or at least some grumpiness. So Maki stomped her boots, set her jaw, and turned toward the cabin. Nico was going to have to earn her Halloween treat.

Dia had always been fussy. Nico had just crawled into the tent to kiss Dia and Ruby before she headed to the cabin to complete the Halloween prankfest. Ruby was curled up against her sister, soundly asleep, red hair such a vivid reminder of Maki, their child’s rare sweetness protected fiercely by everyone around her. As Nico smiled at her daughters, Dia’s green eyes opened suddenly. The scowl was accusatory as was the whispery hiss.

“Bzzzt...you’re going to wake up, Ruby, Mom.”

“Nico is quiet.” Nico smiled, pulling Dia’s blanket up, “You take good care of her, bun.”

Dia nodded, serious and grave. Neither Maki nor Nico claimed credit for that part of Dia’s personality. Maki had always seemed more mature than her years, but had been quick to revert to the goof Nico loved to tease. Dia vibed grandfatherly accountant.

“What’re you going to do next?” Dia whispered.

NIco smiled, “Make sure your Mama gets home safe.”

Dia nodded. She could approve that. “You could help her change clothes too. The pumpkins were really messy.”

Nico swallowed a nervous giggle. They’d obviously used the “changing clothes” excuse too many times in Dia’s hearing. Nico was just glad this was the RinPana tent and not one Nozomi was anywhere near.

“I’ll do my best. If your Mama wants help.”

Nico wasn’t sure about that one. She’d probably gone a little far with the Soldier Game and Bibi remixes. But Maki shouldn’t have said that Nico was slowing down. Nico always kept two steps ahead of Dia and several jumps ahead of Maki. Nico snorted, remembering Maki’s panic when she’d seen Nico’s glare.

Dia glared and pointed at Ruby. “Shh.”

Nico nodded, kissing Dia softly on the forehead, “Don’t worry so much.”

“Don’t let Mama get too mad. Ruby gets sad.”

“Nico will do her best.” And Nico did the quietest, quickest version of her signature gesture yet, “Nico Nico Ni.”

It was as good as a lullaby, Dia yawned and flipped over. Nico waved to a Hanayo absorbed in her phone, grabbed the lantern, and went back to mischief.

Maki was on the right path. The trees were thinning out. There was no warped music in the air, taunting and teasing her. The air had a bracing chill, light from the lantern scattered against roots, bushes, and branches in intriguing patterns. Everyone else was settled in camp, around the campfire, a comfortable picture, but Maki was enjoying this solitude, stopping to glance up at her favorite seasonal constellations, feeling her posture straighten up after weeks of being hunched over a midi keyboard scoring an animated short for an Oscar winning studio. Of course, there still might be traps. Nico was always thorough about anything she did. Maki chuckled, when had dates become this crazy? Well, kinda always, she admitted to herself with a giggle. One of their first dates had been running away from Rin pretending to be paparazzi so a booby trapped trail of minor terrors was very Nico. Maybe it was past time to leave Ruby and Dia with her parents for a couple of weeks and take her wife off somewhere romantic. To reeducate Nico on what constituted a proper date. Nico always claimed marriage precluded dating, but Maki relished Nico in courtship mode, on the rare occasion the Number One Idol in any universe decided to be the Number One Wooer. But recently, Nico had been even crazier busy working on her switch to directing and producing.

A rustle. To the right. Maki froze, listening. No followup movement so either gravity on a leaf or a nocturnal animal rushing off. But she needed to pay more attention. Nico surely had more tricks in mind as Maki approached the cabin.

Dark, silent cabin in sight and fishing wire across the path. Nico suddenly being obvious? Maki knelt and pulled the lantern through the obstacle. Rows of softly lit luminaries and golden fairy lights created a lovely path to the separate entrance they’d had installed for the master suite. Had Nico switched to treats?

 Nico lit the last candle, and the low light around the master bath set a cozy, romantic mood Nico wanted to stay and enjoy with her stubborn, gorgeous, slippery even when not wet wife. But as much as Nico claimed this was a revenge prank, Maki had also been spending too much time commuting between Tokyo and Uchiara, dealing with both the girls and Nishikino family business while Nico was working on her directorial debut. So Maki was definitely peopled out even before all of their Muse family had arrived for the Halloween camp out.

Nico smiled, remembering years of sitting together, fireside, with Maki, telling stories of when they each realized it was love, reminiscing about the Muse training camp that had proven their connection deeper than either had been ready to acknowledge.

Humming “Yume No Tobira,” Nico scattered rose petals over the scented bathwater, smiling at the ripples that would turn into waves when Maki stretched out those dreamfuel legs to dip them into the water, sink in, lean back, eyes closed, shimmering red hair wrapped in a turban, arms stretched out...Nico dipped a hand in the water, splashing her face to shake off fantasy mode. She meant to give Maki some solitude. After that, there would be time for mutual appreciation.

Nico saw the fairy lights glow on. Maki had arrived. Pulling up her dark hoodie, Nico headed to the front door. Maki would probably follow the path Nico had created so Nico could sneak back to the campsite. And then, tomorrow, Nico would show up bright and early to cook a beautiful princess a delicious brunch.

“Nico?” Umi stepped out of her tent.

“She’s not here.” Nozomi said with a smirk, “What do you need?”

“Kotori wanted to know what the plan was for breakfast.”

“In bed, I’d guess.” Nozomi winked.

“What do you mean? Maki was quite determined…”

“How long have you known the two of them, Umi?”

Awkward silence and then Umi sighed.

“Where’s your wife?”

“Passed out from exhaustion.”

Umi paled, not quite taken sick enough to faint. Nozomi chuckled, “Why do you even ask?”

Umi rolled her eyes with a wry chuckle, “That is a very good question. I will consider it. Good night, my friend.”

Nozomi waved, continuing to sip her herbal tea. It was a beautiful night, crisp and clear. She always appreciated the chance to exist in mountain stillness, far from urban bustle.

Ahmad Jamal. "Jeff". Just perfect. Maki swooped a hand hrough the water. The shower had gotten the pumpkin goop out of her hair. Now, warm water and flickering candles. Nico knew how to set a romantic scene. There had even been a snack, bruschetta warm from the oven, the perfect Chianti to accompany it. Maki's private chef. Smiling at so many memories and tracing a languid finger across her now tingling lip, Maki wondered where the Halloween imp was. And perfectly timed, her phone pinged.

N: The stars here are stunning, but don’t leave Nico breathless like your eyes.

M: I was wrong. You haven’t matured at all.

N: And you haven’t gotten any better at flirting.

Maki paused, wondering if she dared.

M: I’m just so...

N: ?!?!?!

M: Wet.

Maki splashed her hand across the surface, imagining Nico’s expression.

N: You’re giggling, aren’t you. That’s not flirting, that’s…

M: ?!?!?!

N: Provoking. Nico is provoked.

M: Not as provoked as I was listening to...

N: Nico is a genius (￣︶￣;)

M: Nico is a terror ƪ(`▿▿▿▿´ƪ). Trick or trap.

N: That’s not how it goes. Nico prepared a full, IMPRESSIVE, immersive Halloween experience. You shivered, don’t lie to Nico.

M: ((ﾟ□ﾟ;))

M: I might be cold. Or…

N: Or?

M: You know, wet ^.~

N: You are going to be so embarrassed when Nico asks you exactly how wet…

Maki put the phone down, her face was flaming, she could feel it. Conversations with Nico always went just too far. But the thought of Nico showing up, opening the door, knowing Maki was under the sheets, waiting...Maki stood up, legs already shaky, Nico’s voice repeating whispers in her memory. A brash knock on the door to the master suite startled her as her phone pinged. Nico always ruined fantasies. Or improved them.

N: Trick or treat?

M: Just come inside.

M: I can still lock the door.

And there was Nico’s bright, knowing laugh in the bedroom, “Nico just wants a sweet.”

Maki draped a towel over her shoulder and opened the door, “All right.”

14x19–– Beautiful Dreamer [episode review]

can we talk about Grey’s here for a second? I’m gonna review this episode because it’s been a really great episode. I think one of the best we’ve seen in a long time. so lets start off with saying this: I am sorry for how unorganized and choppy this is going to be, I’m apologizing in advance but my brain is going a million miles an hour. ALSO. WARNING::: SPOILERS AHEAD!!! 🚨🚨

first off–– Richard and Ollie

this was so, so sad. this gave me Amelia and Michelle, on PP, parallel feels, how Ollie is much like Amelia’s best friend Michelle and Amelia and Richard both watched their friend die a slow death. I really think and hope this is going to bring Amelia and Richard closer as friends and support systems. this storyline (Richard and Ollie) was very real, heartbreaking and sad. I really liked it even though it was rough.

Arizona

two things here, first; Carina. I just. I don’t like her. it’s half “she’s never going to be callie” and half idk I just don’t like her character. she’s useless and just no. I really don’t like her. and I would really like for her to go back to Italy. like Arizona said, her study there is almost up… also, the comment at the beginning of the ep “I have no kids, thank god” like okay, I get that people don’t always like kids but coming from Arizona, someone who broke up with her girlfriend over children, this just made my heart swell. like carina you don’t say that to the person you’re with if they fucking have kids. thats like almost as close as basic human decency as we get here…and second; Arizona’s idea of the crash cart thing, that was amazing. seriously. “treat every delivery as a trauma” I can’t clap loud enough. this is amazing. I’m so glad she figured something out and she can stop stressing just a little bit. take a breather babes, you’re awesome, you’re a rockstar. [also, another note; I really am dreading JCap leaving and this is sad af, because we only have like what 3 episodes remaining?]

Bello and Deluca

I actually have a lot to say about this and this is where its going to get very unorganized. I love that they’re incorporating real life like this, fucking neurosurgeons in the making, who have been living here their whole lives, facing deportation to a country they don’t know just because of our terrible choice in leaders. I can talk a while about this but I’m not going to. I thoroughly enjoyed Bailey stalling the ICE agent [we will address this later] and how literally the whole hospital was banning together to help Bello out. I genuinely like her and I’m really sad to see her leaving. I loved all the scenarios of running, getting married, Jo telling her how to fake her death with a guy in New York, I actually laughed so hard. like this was so great. this whole storyline. and then when amelia asks Owen to call Megan to help out because her “favorite intern” is going to get deported for rUNNING A FUCKING RED LIGHT. A RED LIGHT PEOPLE. we can’t even put rapists in jail, and you’re exiling an innocent fucking surgeon to a country they spent barely a year in when they were born, because she ran a red fucking light? okay moving on, coco. I loved that amelia said that, it was really cute. and like then Meredith using one of Maggie’s old papers [im assuming] and telling her Sam got accepted in Zurich and is working with Cristina. that was actually so sweet and I can’t. and then poor Andrew. I really loved them as a couple. they are really sweet and I wish we got to know more about their story, but sadly we won’t since Bello left. their goodbye was so adorable and bitter sweet. I hope she comes back one day or Deluca leaves to go be with her, he deserves happiness and an actual storyline like this because Giancomo is kinda getting screwed with Deluca’s character here.

Jaggie…

as @jordan202​ said last week, “jaggie is gaggie” and literally, yes. I was really excited to see Maggie ignoring him, because Jackson can be kinda dickish and like he should’ve told her April kissed him. if you want a relationship to work, be honest. and Jackson should’ve told her from the beginning. now to be honest with you, I skipped every jaggie scene, and caught the little bit at the end. I did want to point out, while I do not support Jaggie at all whatsoever, I find it very sweet Maggie showed up and made the speech and stood up for herself about not telling her because she said Jackson didn’t think he could handle it. go Maggie. and then I gagged again and skipped the scene that followed that… gross.

the interns

okay I love love loveeeee seeing Jo be the chief resident [I mean not like there can be any other chief resident because lets see, mousey died, Stephanie left, ben became a firefighter and where the fuck did Leah disappear to?] anyway, I love seeing Jo be the chief res and then bringing the interns around for rounds and no one letting them into rooms for rounds, that was actually quite funny.

Matthew and Ruby

okay, so I feel bad for Arizona because this was her case, but I empathize with Matthew, and he’s hurting and this is a lot. and I’m glad Owen could be put on this case, tho really fucking weird since he worked as a trauma surgeon in the army I didn’t peg him for a peds stand in, but I know this was just a little veer in his path for his storyline [which we will talk about as well] and I’m really grateful for April here. I know that everyone kinda looked weird at her for leering around Matthew and yeah I get it its weird, but her mother’s intuition was calling, and hey, guess what, it was fucking right. I’m really glad she was able to help and the end scene with her and Matthew was really sweet. it was full circle for them and I really enjoyed that.

lets go with the ICE agent next, and Bailey.

so I thoroughly enjoy that Bailey was at first just trying to stall him as long as possible. great tactic. and then her instincts kicked in and she pretty much saved this man’s life. I think that was really cool. and the scene with Maggie telling Bailey that she’d run all the tests, and then Bailey actually being serious about it. this was really nice. Bailey was being sincere to this man, she was serious because this guy, who is trying to take her intern, she could’ve easily just ignored his symptoms. but she didn’t and telling him, jfc that was great. “I swear to god this isn’t a joke” or whatever. bailey’s being serious, might I even say as serious as a heart attack… [okay, okay, I know, terrible joke I am sorry] anyway, this was really sweet that even though she deemed him as the enemy, she stilled helped save his life because its her job, just like, while he hates it, being an ICE agent is his job.

um what’s next? ou, Catherine.

can I start out saying I’ve never liked her? she’s always fucking shady and untrusting. seriously. and first off, do not go blaming your fucking son for this issue with the neurosurgeon lady. this is your fault. your “oh its nothing” thing with harper Avery and this lady. well yeah, we’re gonna think its nothing if you say it like that, of course Jackson won’t think anything of it and try and fucking fix things, there’s a child’s life at stake. if you weren’t such a shady bitch and were honest with Jackson, y’all won’t be getting into this mess, whatever the fuck it may be. ugh I do not like Catherine at all. Richard deserves better.

um, who else… Owen okay Owen.

so, I am still logically confused why Owen was placed on ruby Taylor’s case… like I mentioned before, he’s trauma not peds, but whatever, I guess if a hospital can have a bomb, shooting, 2 plane crashes, a fire and a billion other things happen, I guess a trauma surgeon can double as a peds one for a day. now, onto why. I’m really actually genuinely excited for Owen to take this step into singlehood and hopefully soon-to-be single fatherhood. I’ve been saying this forever, but give the man a child. he’s very similar to Alex in a way, he doesn’t act very decent with other adults, but in front of children, he’s an angel and its what he really needs. I can’t wait to see what comes of this storyline!

KIMMIE!

okay, wow! this breaks my heart. part of me is like “yes! go to NYC, go sing on broadway, explore the world while you still have the chance” and the other half of me just screams “stay strong just a little longer and stay at GSM for Alex and amelia to fix you, because I know they can”. Alex and kimmie’s dynamic is so sweet and their relationship just kinda melts me [and jo, but we will talk about that next!] I really hope this isnt the end of kimmie’s story. I hope she’s not going to just leave. side note: where did Tom go? is he back in New York? did he go back and I forget? anyway, whatever.

okay, we got literally the sweetest scene I’ve ever fucking seen. I think I like this more than the proposal. actually, this and the 9x24 “I love you” scene are tied for first because ofc, that was my fave but also this one was. Jo telling Alex that she wants kids with him and wants to wedding plan and get married at joe’s bar and soon and ugh I cannot. and then her telling him she wants his last name because “I’ve never had the last name of anyone who’s loved me before” okay get out. bye. I’m dead. spoiler alert: I’ve been typing this from beyond the grave. this scene fucking melted me into a pile of goo. I cannot. bye!

Kristine being in power scares me shitless. I know I haven't exactly been the MOST social person in this game and I've been very UTR the last couple of days/ non existent but I always felt like I was good with Kristine. I don't know? I thought we talked a good bit at least in comparison to others.... but then after she won I called her the HBIC and homegirl told me she loved my ass kissing. That HOHITIS is real with this one ladies. I offered up my services as a potential person to work with moving forward and she ignored my offer. She literally swerved me. Straight up IGNORED me and focused on what I said about not being social. So there is a good chance I'm going up and if I don't go up it isn't because Kristine doesn't want it.. it'll probably be because others don't want it. At least I hope? I'm trying NOT to go into crisis mode on the second HOH but... old habits die hard? I think that's the quote? I think if I had to write a "trust list" for this game.. honestly.. I'm feeling really good about Kori. I THINK we could go far together and we'd balance out each other well. Obviously he's a good player and I'm going to need that on my side moving forward. Eve is obviously my #1 right now but it'd be naive on me not to believe that others aren't saying the same about her. I really like Andrew but we don't talk game? But I guess I can improve on that? Those are the 3 people I'm vibing with right now. 

KORI:

Ok so at this point I'm not entirely sure if I made a DR entry earlier or not, I planned on making a video but at this point it'd just get too long. Rehder going unanimously is STILL a meme to me but here we are. Kristine winning HoH was honestly alright for me because I feel like she and I have a reasonably good relationship. Though I'm not sure it could ever be something long term because she's likely working with people I have no desire to work with. (Dem, Chris, Brien, those guys.) Emma and I had a serious talk about long term what we wanna do about Eve since we seem pretty in agreement that the current dynamic is Jess and Mackenzie are Eve's Top 2 Bitches, and we're like probably the Bottom 2 Bitches. Personally I think the best time for Eve to go is like F7ish but obviously we need more time for things to progress to see where we sit. I think longterm the Mandela Monocles are a better alliance for me since I think I could sit next to Austin OR Silence and win. I just can't sit next to Gwen who I really think just has a better personality than me. With Kristine nominating Madison it... isn't really ideal for me, but Madison is also pretty isolated at this point. While we have that Mitten Connection, if she is lacking any connection with others in this game I can't go dragging my feet for her... That being said, I think eliminating Nicky this round, would not be like... the WORST thing ever. It'd just be a question of convincing Gwen that it's a good idea. Though the harder thing would be convincing others that keeping Madison is a good idea. While I like her, I'm not sure it's in my best interest to leave tracks trying to keep her in the game. Obviously it's gonna depend on how Veto goes, if noms stay the same I might push a little for a Nicky boot and see what happens, but if it's not gonna happen I'll just cut my losses. (Though with Nicky doing his thing he seems likely to dig his own grave.)

AUSTIN:

I am feeling very comfortable this week. I’m in the power trap alliance with Chris, Kristine, Dem, and Emma. I’m also in the Mandela Monocles alliance with Gwen, Silence, and Kori. Kristine is currently HoH so I don’t think she will put me on the block. I have suspicions that Emma is working with Eve because when we were playing the HoH competition, Emma refused to take Eve out. I’m just glad that one of my alliances is in power.

KRISTINE:

Love the alliance. So happy I won HOH and got to be in power. The veto comp didn’t go as well as planned tbh. I’m sooo upset that I didn’t do as well as I wanted I was up at 200 something and then lost it all over a very stupid roll. But it’s fine whether I win this or not I know I’ll get my way. Nicky is going home, let’s just hope he doesn’t win HOH. Don’t ever argue with the HOH when you’re the one on the block LOL!!!

NICKY:

I'm so glad I escaped this week without being nominated!!! I feel so much better this week than last week! At the end of last week I thought for sure I was gonna leave pre-jury but now I feel like I've made so many real connections and I feel like I am in a great spot with many people

episode 2 This could be super naive of me to say and a little cocky and i know it 100% IS but i feel like almost everyone in this game loves me besides nicky, i think im just playing a really good social game im scared of eve for some reason i feel like she is the only person possibly playing a better game than me. just get those competitive af vibes from her, i will not go after her unless she comes for me doe. shes super cute tho love her vibes, and I think me and Jess formed and alliance just now As of now Austin Jess and Chris are my top 3 in that order Update: I love Eve, we had an emotional heart to heart about STUFF, ill never forget it and i appreciate her for it so much, even if we don't end up being on the same side in this game together, the bitch is dope. Ok since I was out of it last round time for my cast assessment now. Since this was due prior to Nicky quitting I’ll include him Nicky - I forgot he existed week one. Actually sad he quit and was gonna leave cause he was entertaining arguing with Kristine Gwen - I love Gwen. She allows me to not be the official grandma of the game. She is very sociable which is scary. But I think I can trust her. Austin - automatically meh about him cause of his name. Pretty forgettable honestly. Mackenzie - nice gal. Nothing negative to say. Haven’t talked much. Jess - the person I’m most terrified of. When I realized she is THE boojess like fuck me. I’m scared. I feel like as long as I don’t get on her bad side I’m good. William - seems like a good kid. Kristine - I’m v intimidated by her. She won hoh and veto and seems like a very smart player. She makes me nervous. Silence - who???? Brien- ok this kid. I’m doing what I can to get him to trust me. I know he is a loyal person. But am I the person he is loyal to? Or is it someone else? How do I make sure I am that person? Dem - nothing really to say MADISON - I love her sooooooooo much. She’s like the light of my life honestly and if I find out something different I’m gonna cry. Like I feel like a betrayal from her will hurt the most in this game. Andrew - okay first off......damn. I’m aware of his sexual orientation but boy sent me a photo so I could see his tattoos and DAMN!!! I need me a straight one of him. But he is a fun character I like him. Chris - I think I freaked him out when I sent him a long message about how I’m scared of cops. But I didn’t go up week one so that happened. I’m hoping I can work my way into his good graces later. Emma - seems like a sweet gal. I enjoy her. Kori - nothing to say sorry

OKAY SO this ended up being way longer than i ever expected because i couldn’t stop talking about it and i have a lot of #thoughts tbh

first things first, it was a very small community theater production, the entire theater was pretty small, the stage and everything, and also it was the closing performance and so. Emotions were high for a lot ofit

secondly, the stage design was ?? so great. like i’ve watched a lot of productions of sa on yt and stuff, local and broadway, and i’ve never seen a stage designed like this. basically, the front of the stage was just basic, like wood that you walked on and it never really changed but most of the stage was built over a shallow pool of water with panels of differing sizes they could move and make it look like different locations and stuff etc, where the water would be visible sometimes and other times, like at the very beginning, you don’t even realize it’s not a normal stage. all of the panels could stack up on top of each other too to create like. higher parts of the stage?

also they had branches all throughout the top of the stage and hanging down off of the front over the audience. the aisles were used a l o t because this was a small theater. i sat right next to wear they came from back stage to go up/down the aisles with a big shit eating grin on my face for most of it, im sure most of them saw me lmao.

oh and they had people playing bobby maler/greta as well

mama who bore me wasn’t spectacular. it wasn’t bad, just nothing new tbh but wendla was fantastic

all that’s known and the scene leading up to it really didn’t have anything new either. moritz was good but since when do i think a moritz is bad tbh. melchior is really angry tbh. bobby brings him a mic on a stand instead of him pulling it out of his jacket

the bitch of living was so good tbh it all went dark except for moritz, who had a purple spotlight on him, and then as the rest of the boys joined they had rainbow spotlights. they pulled mics out of their jacket so im not sure why melchi didn’t in all that’s known but im ok with it. the spotlights were solid colored at first, but then they switched back and forth between being grungy-textured (i really dont know how to explain this tbh but it was like dotted shapes and stuff) and solid colors and thats mostly what i focused on lmao.

 when melchior joined in, they had lined up all their school chairs on the right side of the stage in a diagonal and faced him as they sang. they mention bobby maler and the guy who’s credited as bobby barely even reacted like they could have done more if they were going to bother casting a bobby.

my junk was pretty average too, except georg didnt have a piano and he just mimed playing piano on a table, but this is also where u see the first panel move bc of the water and i didn’t realize it was water at first, i just thought there was an opening in the stage tbh but then they removed a second panel at the end so there was like,,, a split in the center of the stage and u could see the reflectiveness of the water

the scene before touch me was so good tbh. when moritz talks about the “labia majora” (he didn’t pronounce it wrong which bothers me but its a character choice i guess so w/e) and frau gabor walks in he doesn’t notice at first and keeps going until he finally sees her, jumps a foot in the air and quickly sits on it. when he starts talking about the essay again after she leaves, he takes it out and dramatically checks to make sure she’s not coming back (like he leaned all the way back in his over his chair to check backstage)

moritz and melchior’s dance in touch me isn’t super gay at first. melchi just leans over the table and touches moritz’s hand while he’s feeling himself (as he does) and then moritz leaves. but when moritz comes back, he’s on the other side of the water divide and he and melchi grab each others arms over it and dance. pretty gay.

also in the scene where moritz is like “i passed!” he runs up the aisles and when he gets to the stage he leans up against the wall and it was really cute im still not over it but then when georg is like “are you sure”(i dont know if that’s the exact line but i have no memory ur lucky i remember this much) he does this like. weird tone of voice and when moritz says “yes im sure” he makes a face at georg and mocks his tone of voice. which is also cute and im still not over

the word of your body was pretty stationary tbh, but instead of having some chairs be a tree, they used a spotlight outlined like a tree

during the dark i know well, martha played acoustic guitar and it was so good im

(also by this point the stage was returned to just being a stage, like without the water parts) the beating scene was pretty typical as far as i remember. nobody laughed (thank god)

during moritz and his father’s scene, i’ve noticed a lot of productions don’t make it seem as serious as it could/should be but here it definitely was. moritz was audibly slapped multiple times and slams moritz down into a chair in the front of the stage.

frau gabor is brought out with a table and a chair across from him and he angrily sings and then there were none directly at her. the boys don’t come out and surround him, u just hear their voices but it highlights his thoughts and how he’s isolated

they didn’t have a hanging platform for mirror blue night. but the choreo made up for it tbh like it was still weird choreo but the boys are more incorporated liked they picked melchior up and held him above their heads and then when they put him down, they grabbed him until he shoved them off. idk it was cool but hard to describe.

i believe was typical as far as i remember tbh. they had chairs stacked up in the center and my mom was like “what’s that for” and i was like “i have no idea” but we guessed that maybe it was a hay bale to represent the hayloft. melchior put off more rapey vibes to me here than in some productions. also they didn’t unbutton wendla’s shirt but melchior ripped his off and underneath he was jacked and tbh i wasn’t ready i was sh ook and its all i thought about for most of intermission.

the guilty ones: the stage now has platforms moved so there’s a space of water on each side and a raised platform following it. the middle of the stage is normal level so it’s like there’s a step on each side. melchior and wendla were in the front and center, and interspersed throughout the stage were all the boys and girls paired off into four groups.

two groups of 2 girls + 1 boy, a group of a girl and a boy, and a group of two boys (but im like? pretty sure it wasn’t hernst so idk. i think i was georg and bobby but i? couldn’t see their faces very well). all the groups were like feeling each other up and kissing while they sang.

moritz comes in and i don’t do sadness starts out pretty typically. but when he stomps you can feel it bc the space is small so angst x10. when ilse comes on she looks like she’s just wondering through town, she pauses and looks at moritz for a sec and then she’s like “moritz??” and moritz runs all the way across the stage to hide from her on the steps so she can’t see the gun. he also moves her standing mic on stage when he comes back on. 

he and ilse sit in the center part and interact before she sings blue wind. the whole time she’s singing blue wind, moritz stays sitting and looks super conflicted but mostly like he’s about to just lose it crying. then they both sing. while they’re singing u know they both typically face forward and they do that some but they also ran at one another and sang directly at each other, holding their hands out towards each other but not touching. 

then as he’s telling ilse bye again, his voice is cracking like he really really wants to go with her but he’s just... done. ilse storms off and the suicide monologue is awful bc moritz’s voice is cracking the whole time and im dying in the theater. after moritz shoots himself, he runs off stage right.

martha and melchior come out and are upper stage left. martha has a guitar and is sitting on the ground. her guitar case is sitting in front of her. melchior has a standing mic. moritz’s dad is upper stage right and is reading a letter, getting progressively more upset. 

and moritz is in the center, on a raised platform in front of square of water. he’s got his school notebook and is writing in it and he’s in a pool of white light and he looks happy. as they bring their flowers up, each person stops and looks at moritz, some reaching out for him, before walking up in front of martha to drop their flower in her guitar case. as more people come up, moritz starts laughing and playing in the water, splashing it at first and then jumping in (the water is super shallow like feet deep) and he starts throwing the water on himself and washing his face with it and stuff.

then eventually moritz leaves. when he does, otto and georg take the platform and set it on top of the water he was playing in, like. sealing his grave. (and there’s me, in the theater, REALLY dying)

at the end of left behind everyone lined up on the back wall with their backs facing the audience and then melchior comes out blah blah and then it gets lit like honestly it was so GOOD. everyone was angrily jumping around (which you could hear and FEEL) and getting up in the front rows face tbh (i was not front row smh) and the spotlights went crazy over the audience, first white and then rainbow colors. there were pillars near the front row and ernst and another boy jumped on them and like humped the air idk. melchior’s facial expressions were great. he was p sarcastic tbh. it was 1 of the best totally fucked’s ive ever seen imo

the vineyard scene was great. people laughed at it but im pretty sure it’s just because a lot of them knew the actors tbh? there was an opening of water and ernst (who was so small im) sat on the platform behind it and played in the water while he talked about being a pastor. hanschen stood across the stage. when hanschen kisses ernst he like. gently lays him down and their kisses are long like rip my gay heart. as they leave they’re holding hands and hanschen pulls ernst’s hand really close to his heart and i died

during whispering, melchior stands behind wendla in a blue light with his hand on her shoulders and sings like... not echos of whispering but different lyrics that i unfortunately can’t remember but i do remember that they sounded threatening tbh

the reformatory boys were good and my mom was shook af about the circle jerk scene she looked at me like ?!? and then later she was like “i do not remember that”(from the boot i showed her) i  was like idk maybe if ud paid attention

during those you’ve known the entire stage was water except the front lip and 3 platforms, one for moritz, melchi, and wendla. melchior mostly walks/sits on the front lip until like almost the end of the song. moritz and wendla stand on two of the platforms from the beginning (with 1 platform in between them) and they’re stock still, like. statues. melchior pauses in front of moritz when he says moritz’s line. then he walks over in front of wendla. when moritz starts singing he like... jumps to like and looks around for a second and then looks at melchior and kneels. same with wendla. then it’s typical those you’ve known until melchior moves to the center platform and pulls moritz and wendla off their platforms and to his when he pulls them close. moritz and wendla look like they’re about to cry and im not sure if that’s bc it was closing night or if they actually were supposed to look like it tbh

now for the best part. the song of purple summer. the stage is entirely water now. some of the actors come up from the aisles as ilse sings and some come from back stage. they’re all in their costumes. ilse pulls off her shirt and underneath she’s wearing a bathing suit. they all strip down into bathing suits and they play in the water with each other, like slinging it at each other, smiling and laughing and hugging and crying and im emotional. at the end they all reached into the water and did like some movement but basically they slung water towards the audience rip

anyway the show was fantastic. i really dug the water stage a lot? like ive never seen anything like it and it was such a good idea?? and i know i didn’t explain it that well but t b h

also i spoke to the actor of moritz briefly after the show and he was crying and hugging all of his friends and when we went up to him to tell him that it was good he was like “oh my god thank you im sorry im crying but oh my god it means a lot” and it was really cute okay

Specifically the way they treated kira in s5, never mentioning allison unti it was ‘necessary for the plot’. TAKING WAYYYY TOO LONG FOR STYDIA TO BE CANON (and putting unnecessary relationships in the way like stalia). believing it was totally okay for a deputy to be having sex dreams of a female high school student. ew. amongst other things….oh and this wasnt in s4 or s5 but stiles losing his virginity to a girl he barely knew in the basement of some mental institution was the most ooc thing ever with his character like what the fuck was that???Saddest moment: ALLISON’S DEATH. I STILL CRY AND GET TRIGGERED IT WAS JUST SO SAD. also boyd and aiden’s deaths were super sad aswell. UM LETS TALK ABOUT SEASON 6 WHERE EVERYONE HAS FORGOTTEN STILES INCLUDING HIS SOULMATE, BEST FRIEND AND HIS DAD. There are plenty of others….Most well done character death: Allison’ death for sure….I did not see that coming at all. And it has had long lasting affects on the pack and the show in general.Favourite guest star: Ummm idk…has teen wolf had guest stars?? oh oh Posey’s dad guest starring was cute.Favourite cast member: DYLAN O’BRIEN TRASH IS ME. When did you start watching/reading: well back in the 10th grade, so over two years ago thx to @songmeanhoe lolTrope you wish they would stop using: Idk thinking all teen watchers care about is couples making out/having sex. give me intimacy thx very much (aka why i love stydia so much haha)One thing this show/book/film does better than others: Hmmm giving supernatural plot lines that are actually interesting/creative. Making me really really care about these characters (specifically stiles, lydia, scott, and allison). Oh! actually having the parents involved in their kid’s lives and help elevate the plot. they aren’t just there to be there they have a purpose in this supernatural teen drama shit.Funniest moments: LOL that time when scott and stiles went to a gay club in s2. When stiles was FREAKING OUT that he was going to get sacrificed bc he was a virgin in 3a (”someone needs to sex me today, like someone needs to sex me right now!”), anything coach says. idk teen wolf makes me laugh alot before everything got wayyy too dark like woahhCouple you would like to see: CANON STYDIA. THEY ARE IN LOVE SO GET STILES BACK AND BE CANON ALREADY. i’ve always said this…sheriff and melissa (tho that is wishful thinking at this point)Actor/Actress you want to join the cast: Ummmmm idk tbh. like any young female actress would be great thanks.Most boring plotline: lol season 4 was SO BORING LIKE WHAT WAS THAT.
