Dunno if someone pointed it out before but one of my favorite detail in Puss in Boots 2 is that, during the Death reveal in the Cave of Lost Souls, the cracks of the crystal form a skull

Like, this is such a neat detail

INSCRYPTOBER week 5: MASQUERADE

happy (late) halloween! between lbx, work, and getting smacked with sickness over the past few days this final piece is a bit behind; i was going to pare this down a little in terms of rendering but decided to polish it anyway! i'm happy w how it came out ^^

Thought of a really Edgy idea Puss finally trying to kill Death but Excalibur takes the rapier hit instead causing him to bleed Oil Death is devastated seeing his Adopted son &̶ ̶H̶u̶s̶b̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶ bleeding oil into the floor Excalibur dies smiling telling Death to pick up the pieces he left behind, Before Puss can be punished he escapes, consequently because Excalibur died the fabric of time has completely been destroyed and so Death inherits Excalibur’s time powers to preserve time while still mourning his dead son and husband.
