Here's hoping for sleep, an undisturbed sleep, a sleep where I don't wake up a million times either from pain or insomnia. Me and sleep are not friends, I don't get restorative sleep as it is so when I don't manage to get any at all or a few broken hours it ruins me and my mental health suffers. Rest, recovery and sleep are so so important for your mental wellbeing and for your body in general, I've suffered with sleep deprivation for as long as I can remember and when I went to the doctors about it I was told sleeping tablets were not an option because they eventually stop working and I would benefit from practising sleep hygiene instead, I tried so hard with sleep hygiene and didn't see much difference to my sleep but I still practise it in hopes that it may help.
