🌟🥳🚨PUB DAY REVIEW..... Have you ever read a book that took you back in time to your college days? You know back before we had actually be an adult, well act like one at least! This took me back, well we will just say a few years! It was fun remembering all the funny and some crazy times from college! The book is about Elliot starting her freshman year in college but instead of buckling down and picking a major she is too busy dancing, going to parties and driving her RA crazy. Elliot was a delightful character to follow! She’s funny, sarcastic, and sometimes a complete mess! It was fun to follow along as she finds herself! She makes some mistakes along the way but everyone does. I really enjoyed Elliot as the main character and the footnotes just added to it! Overall, Fresh was a fun, and hilarious read and I enjoyed every minute! The character building here is wonderful! The book is realistic and because of this it makes it very easy to relate to not just Elliot but also the others that come along. Margot Wood doesn’t sugarcoat the heavy topics in this book. I found that to be refreshing! It was a fun coming of age read showing the trials of young adulthood that most of us go through. Happy reading everyone! Fandoms: Haikyuu!! I like several others, but Oofuri and Haikyuu are the only fandoms I’ve written for, and Haikyuu is the only one I currently write for.

Most popular one-shot: On ffnet: [Note: hyperlinks are to AO3] In terms of views: Rage, one of my earliest fics and still one of my favorites, in which Noya inexplicably lashes out culminating in a confrontation with Asahi In terms of favorites: What Happened to Pluto?, a silly one-shot in which Bokuto’s pent-up frustration at Pluto being demoted from a planet erupts (for a long time, it was also at or near the top of my AO3 stats too) Not counting my aborted BnHA/One Piece multichap The March of Justice, of which I only posted one chapter, so technically it’s a one-shot? On AO3: In terms of hits: The Question of the Better Setter - this one shocked me, because it’s less than a year old and trounced the previous recordholder. It’s an IwaKage hurt/comfort set in the early Kitagawa years In terms of kudos: In the Warmth of the Bonfire - [Haikyuu spoiler warning] a post-timeskip OiHina set in Brazil, in which they attend a matsuri (Japanese culture festival, very popular in Brazil) with Pedro Not counting Thunderbolts & butterflies, a fic I beta’ed for another author and on which I am credited as co-creator

Most popular multi-chapter: On ffnet: Coup d’Etat [hyperlink is to AO3], my ambitious very first Haikyuu fic, a 26-chapter political au where President Hinata is the victim of a far-reaching attempt to overthrow his government On AO3: The Kenma Project, my current labor of love, a Haikyuu next gen captains spy AU that is entering its climax

Fic you were nervous to post: Life Hereafter [TW; hyperlink is to ffnet]. The culmination of an attempt to understand how people can recover from sudden loss. When I posted it in 2017, it explicitly drew from real-world events and singled out a particular scourge that some readers would find triggering or at least uncomfortable. I was very afraid of being attacked for unabashedly featuring the subject in a fic.

How you choose your titles: I choose my titles in various ways. Oftentimes, it references a line from the fic. Other times, it’s an arbitrary invention on the fly. But I try to give at least a little bit of thought to all my titles. One method I never use though is song lyrics.

Do you outline: Yes. Rarely do I go without some form of outline. 

Do you take prompts: Yes! But with conditions. I am eternally open to drabble requests starring Mujinazaka’s setter Michiru Usuri. I am also participating in the Bad Things Happen Bingo challenge [on mobile, info can also be found here], with the goal of a blackout. Requests are open for both!

Complete: 57 (53 one-shots, 2 two-chapter “one-shots”, 2 multichaps)

In Progress: Technically 6? But only 1 actively in progress (The Kenma Project). 4 with one or two chapters posted and officially “on hiatus” (they were intended as samples to decide which I wanted to continue, and not all will be finished). 1 officially aborted and will not be continued.
