✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ♠️DEUCE BIRTHDAY SSR FLOWER ANALYSIS* ♠️*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
*Mandatory reminder that I’m no flower specialist, which means these are all very subjective opinions. Take everything with a grain of salt!
Poppy anemones, also known as windflowers, symbolize loyalty and the fragility of life – with its name referring to either the wind that helps blow the flowers open, or their susceptibility to wind. The blue color gives them the meaning of protection (against evil), though anemones in general are known to provoke feelings of expectation and excitement. They’re one of the flowers that open during daytime, but close again at night, so they’re ideal gifts for those coming of age, or currently about to start a new chapter in their life.
Deuce has blue hydrangeas, which carry the meaning of forgiveness, rejection, and regret, and are typically gifted when you’re looking to apologize, or to symbolize a new starting point. In Europe and the Victorian Flower Language they’re symbols of arrogance and boastfulness, but nowadays, they’re more commonly understood to show understanding, gratitude, or even as a way to express your concern for the recipients’ feelings (which is derived from their Japanese meaning).
Blue carnations are relatively new flowers that don’t grow naturally, and thus don’t have much history. However, they’re associated with peace, truth, and devotion. Carnations in general are synonymous for affectionate feelings for someone loved and adored. They’re a symbol of distinction, creativity, and uniqueness – and a popular gift for Mother’s Day. (Interestingly, in the Netherlands they’re associated with defiance and rebellion.)
The gentiana scabra in his bouquet represent justice, accuracy and victory because of its upward flowering shape. Another reading is that of lonely love, or loving someone who is sorrowful, or that of chastity.
Cornflowers are symbols of reliability, anticipation, prosperity, devotion, tenderness, and love. Depending on what color you believe Deuce’s flowers to be (because color-picking in photoshop has revealed them to be a lovely indigo – so exactly between blue and purple): blue cornflowers carry an additional meaning of hope, and striving for the unattainable, while their purple variation symbolizes power and dignity.
The small, white flowers in Deuce’s bouquet are either lupines or larkspurs. Lupines are used to symbolize growth and change, strength and protection, as well as transformation and renewal. They represent a passion for life and different experiences, and inner strength since they’re resilient and durable and one of the few flowers that can grow in any soil. White lupines also stand for self-sacrifice, selflessness and forgiveness, and are symbols of compassion for others. Although highly subjective, many believe lupines to be astrologically connected to the signs of Gemini or Cancer (with Deuce being a Gemini). Larkspurs, on the other hand, are symbolic of swiftness, strong bonds, and a beautiful spirit. They’re associated with lightheartedness and youth, as well as a desire for lightness, or simply a pure heart. White larkspurs are typically seen as symbols of happiness, pride, and joy.
Clovers are signs of protection and are believed to be charms against negativity and hexes. They’re closely associated with good fortune and luck, but can also carry the meaning of success, fidelity, joyfulness, and lightheartedness.
Naturally, these are only my un-educated guesses, but feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong/what flowers I might’ve missed.

last night I read the suicide note of a trans girl I didn’t know named Eden.
this is for her (and maybe for us, too)
A Garden For Eden
on the other side, I imagine a garden.
it is nurtured by warm rains, gentle winds, and the sun.
here there are endless sunrises and endless sunsets, gifts from the heavens and from mother nature herself.
she longs to hold you and so she does, kissing your tears away with warm rays of sunlight, tucking you in under the softness and protection of the moon.
here she nurtures you as she would nurture the garden,
showers you in cherry blossom petals, perfumes you with the smell of flowers, and views you in reverence.
you are, after all, one of her most divine creations.
she honors you with aloe, amasses bouquets of anemone, crowns you with angrec.
she dots the night sky with aster, wakes you with bellflowers, builds you a bed of calla lilies. she calls you her Cinquefoil, promises you coltsfoot, dons you in dahlias.
she grows you gladiolus and heliotropes.
breaks fast with jasmines.
welcomes you with mayflower and marigold.
she grows you meadowsweet and lays mignonette at your feet. olive and phlox guide you through endless fields of dewy grass, plumeria and primrose caress your knees,
poppy lulls you to sleep.
she wakes you with rosemary, sprouts you rows and rows of red spider lily, springs sweetbrier.
she fastens you a cloak of vervain and whispers warm words onto winged seeds. she grows zinnia. lots and lots of zinnia.
in the middle of the garden stands an altar.
it is home to acanthus, astragalus, azalea. to baby breaths and balm, pink carnation, and white clover. it is cradled by cypress and purple hyacinth, birth’s pastures of pansy and rue.
the altar is a testimony to grief.
mother nature promises you no more sorrow. here she will love you with all of her existence.
you, her daughter, born of the divine feminine and from her very own womb.
she will honor you with everlasting fields of flowers. she will grow you a garden.
she will call you Eden.
in this garden for Eden, you will be free.
someday we will be too.
I used this list of plant and flower symbolism, the meanings of each flower are below
aloe - grief | anemone - undying love, eternal peace | angrec - royalty | aster - symbol of love, name comes from the greek word for star | bellflowers - unwavering love | calla lily - magnificence and beauty | cinquefoil - beloved daughter | coltsfoot - justice shall be done | dahlia - elegance and dignity | gladiolus - strength of character, honor, conviction | heliotropes - devotion | jasmine - unconditional and eternal love | mayflower - welcome | marigold - pain and grief | meadowsweet - peace, protection | mignonette - worth | olive - peace | phlox - harmony | plumeria - new beginnings | primrose - eternal love | poppy - eternal sleep | rosemary - remembrance | red spider lily - death and the cycle of rebirth | sweetbrier - simplicity, a wound to heal | vervain - protection against evil | winged seeds - messengers | zinnia - thinking of you | acanthus - art, immortality, rebirth | astragalus - your presence softens my pain | azalea - take care, Chinese symbols of womanhood | baby breaths - innocence, purity of heart | balm - sympathy | pink carnation - a mother’s love | white clover - ‘I promise’ | cypress - death, mourning, sorrow | purple hyacinth - sorrow, please forgive me | pansy - remembrance, you occupy my thoughts | rue - sorrow

So it's been a minute since I've done one of these but I figured I would make one for one more Bell's Hells party member. So lets look at floral picks for Dorian Storm! This will be based more on Campaign 3 than anything else
For Dorian I think Orchids and Anemones.
Orchids come in a variety of colors each with different meanings. Such as the purple Orchid which symbolize Dignity and Royalty.
Now most purple flowers have the symbolism of royalty, but I feel that a flower that is normally used for it's elegance is a good pick for Dorian, who himself is from a quiet influential family. Enough to be jokingly called a prince by his fellow Bell's Hells. Dorian also likes to try and carry himself with dignity, trying to rise above some shenanigans but he still does manage to fall into the fun.
Orchids also come in an orange shade which symbolizes Creativity and Enthusiasm.
Dorian is a bard, with all the charm and talent one expects of the class. He's incredibly creative being able to jump into a impromptu jam session and following along with ruses. Dorian is also very enthusiastic when it comes to things he enjoys like getting ready for the ball and the spa.
Orange Orchids are used for boosts inspiration, helpful and fitting for a Bard.
Anemones do come in less colors, but still have a few different meanings. They symbolize Protection Against Evil and the First Wind.
Anemones are known as wind flowers and named after the wind god Anemos. Dorian is a Air Genasi, with several names related to wind and storms. Dorian's family is a long line of Oracles. Oracles that at times were consulted for conflicts, which can be seen as a protection or preventing further conflicts (evil).
Anemones also symbolize Joy and Anticipation or Excitement.
Dorian keeps up quite the upbeat attitude and seems to try and keep the same for his friends. He wants to hearten them, and doesn't seem to like the idea of them being sad, such as when he had to leave the party. As stated earlier, Dorian is very enthusiastic and seem to be quite excitable. He also maybe seems a bit predisposed to anticipation when things start kicking off. Though that may be a stretch.
Anemones are also a symbol of rainfall, which matches someone who chose the name Storm and with a given name that means Thunder.
And that's another Bell's Hell member! I'm not sure that another of these will be around until maybe closer to the end of the campaign? Where I could update everyone's picks with more flowers to show how they've grown. Or maybe other guests we might get. Unless
(Laudna Pt 1, Pt 2) (FCG) (Orym) (Ashton) (Fearne) (Imogen) (Chetney)

👪 🥞💐🍁💖
For Violet! [<3]
Thank you for this ask Moth, I love these questions for my girl Violet Virginia Varmitech née Tyler! This is a super long response so I placed it under the cut!
👪 FAMILY - what is their family like? what is your ocs relationship to them? does your oc have any siblings?
Violet’s family evolves over the years. Initially she’s an only child with two loving parents. She however is not an only child by choice, her parents tried, unsuccessfully to have children for nearly 6 years before she was born. Violet would have had two brothers and two sisters: Sterling, Forest, Rose, and Lily. So she developed a super strong relationship with her parents by becoming their only child to survive. She was closer with her father; they became good friends in addition to their father /daughter relationship. Her mother was a mother through and through. Violet loved and respected her, but she often was the one who pushed Violet to excel in life.
After her parents passed, Violet was adopted by her maternal aunt Amy. She lived with Amy and Amy’s daughter Paige until she went to work for Zach. Violet’s relationship with Amy similar to the one she shared with her mother, but she struggles to feel close to Amy because of how much Amy reminds her of her mother. Violet and Paige have a fun cousin relationship. Paige is much more outgoing and flirty than Violet, she is boy crazy, but she’s also very caring and sweet, and she is the person who convinced Violet to go after Zach.
After Violet starts working for Zach they soon develop a romantic relationship and get married. At that point he becomes her family, and they extend their family by having children. I imagine they have 4-5, the oldest being Varina. Violet has a strong, committed, loving relationship with Zach, and she develops unique relationships with each of their children.

🍁 MAPLE LEAF - what is their favourite season? why?
Spring. Violet is a spring baby, born on Earth Day, she feels in her element in spring. She loves watching flowers and trees come alive after their winter slumber, and she loves picking the spring flowers and crafting her own bouquets. One of her favorite smells is the smell of the first spring rain. She feels overjoyed when frogs and birds start singing as spring nears. In general, she loves the connection to rebirth that spring evokes.
💖 SPARKLING HEART - are they a subtle or a showy lover?
She changes depending on her and Zach’s moods. She prefers to lean toward showy. But, she often has to gage Zach’s reactions to ensure she’s not making him uncomfortable. She may catch herself being overly lovey with him in public, kissing his face, hugging him, etc. If she sees he’s tensing up, she will calm down her antics and just hold his hand or touch his arm.

Five of Pentacles. Art by Nikury, from Loaf Tarot.
Five of Pentacles is a sad card, representing sickness, loneliness, and poverty. Reversed, the card represents recovery and improvement. This kitty is injured and alone, but still feeling content, because they haven’t lost hope for the future.
The flowers in this card are anemones and I chose them because purple anemones symbolize sickness and protection from evil. Even if the Five of Pentacles is a scary card, just like this kitty, you too can try to find happiness in life and have hope for the future. Bad days always turn better over time if you don’t give up.

Champion Leon but he’s wearing flower crowns
View on Twitter
Flower symbolism under the cut-
The Dandelion is present in all three, since he’s named after it, and it symbolises fulfilling wishes. Leon’s wish during and post game is to make Galars trainers the strongest in the world. For SS Leon, it’s to find new strength/keeping everyone’s future safe. SS Leon was inspired by this post by @youareshauni: https://youareshauni.tumblr.com/post/660570527659917312/on-the-one-hand-leon-already-has-one-outfit
The Pink Rhododendron symbolises danger. Purple Anemones symbolise protection from evil and I thought I’d put yellow daffodils there to symbolise a new beginning with Eternatus in Pokemon Masters.
The Battle Tower Leon painting was inspired by this interesting post from @epicspheal: https://epicspheal.tumblr.com/post/190355874822/leons-mad-and-rose-maybe-isnt-that-bad
Gladiolus symbolises strength. Probably to reference how challenging Leon is in the Battle Tower. Petunias symbolise anger. But blue and white ones symbolise peacefulness, truth and innocence. Considering how Leon feels more lively since hes no longer champion post game.

DREAM SMP CHARACTERS + FLOWER SYMBOLISM
Y’know how flowers have meaning? Yeah anyway here’s dsmp members & the flowers I think represent them!
I’m only doing characters with a decently major part in RECENT lore (so no whitelisted guests or ppl like alyssa who havent done anything recently)
Keep in mind this is based on their characters, not the content creators themselves! Reblogs preferred to likes!
UPDATED 6/13 - ADDED CHARLIE & PURPLED
Dream - Tansy - Often a flower used to be a declaration of war and can be seen as a symbol of immortality, coming from the greek word ‘deathless.’ They can also represent a pure hatred towards someone.
Sapnap - Gladiolus - Associated with gladiators, these flowers represent strength but they can also represent infatuation and remembrance. Sapnap is a powerful warrior, who clings to the past and his loved ones with all his strength.
George - Poppy - Known for their relationship to sedatives, poppy’s are seen as symbols of sleep and peace, but the dark red of their coloration often ties them to death as well. In history it has also been used as a flower meant to remember wars.
Tommy - Black-Eyed Susan - A symbol of justice and childhood. They are often used to inspire motivation in others. They’re versatile flowers who can survive in harsh conditions provided they find a good and willing caretaker.
Tubbo - Edelweiss - These flowers grow in the rough snowy climate of the alps, making them the perfect representation of courage and devotion. It also represents nobility as they sit atop the world while many hikers often perish simply trying to collect the flower.
Ranboo - Allium - Call it predictable, but the allium represents both prosperity and unity. Two things Ranboo is often known for and associated with. In terms of canon, it also represents patience which is something Ranboo often has when interacting with Tommy and Tubbo.
Wilbur & Ghostbur - Peony - Combining the two since Peony’s in the past used to represent anger but have since changed to mean good luck and love. In Japan they have always represented bravery and honor.
Philza - Honeysuckle - These flowers represent the joy in finding happiness, as well as finding new love and remembering love that was once lost. They carry the symbol of strong and everlasting bonds.
Technoblade - Snapdragon - Resilient yet beautiful flowers, they represent strength and grace. On the darker side, they often mean deviousness and deception.
Niki - Rhododendron - These beautiful flowers are often seen as a way to represent love and optimism but the Victorians labeled them as something to be wary of. Despite their beauty, rhododendrons are highly poisonous.
Jack Manifold - Daffodil - These bright flowers are often found blooming in spring, giving them the symbolic representation of rebirth and new beginnings.
Quackity - Sunflower - Most commonly these flowers are known to represent “false riches.” Explorers were fooled by their bright color and drawn in, only to face disappointment upon realizing they were not made of valuable gold. In language, giving a sunflower can be used to communicate romantic feelings that are difficult for a person to say aloud.
Karl Jacobs - Verbena - These are a loving symbol of protection against evil, creativity, and happiness, all things Karl values. They can also mean healing, which is what Kinoko Kingdom was built for. Protecting innocent people and moving away from all the harm to find a better future. They can also mean “pray for me” when given to a loved one.
Awesamdude - Datura (Devil’s Trumpet) - These sharp-ended flowers represent power and caution. They can also be made into a fatal hallucinogen, giving these flowers a reason to be feared.
Ponk - Heliotrope - This is not only a flower for someone who seeks eternal love, but also for those with a deep religious devotion who seek salvation.
BadBoyHalo - Pink Camellia - A flower for someone who loves deeply and longs for those who have gone away from them. They are often given to people who are generally well-liked and who’s presence brings joy to those around them.
Skeppy - Red Anemone - Anemone’s in general often represent anticipation and fragility, but the red colored ones specifically symbolize death and forsaken love.
Antfrost - Red Morning Glory - These flowers symbolize passion, and are often given to people with a strong and loyal heart to their cause.
Punz - Cornflower - These flowers are known for their representation of faithfulness and reliability. They can often stand for a person having wealth and good fortune in life.
Captain Puffy - Hollyhock - These flowers can withstand cruel weather as if it were nothing, giving it the symbolism for ambition. They grow directly up, standing tall as they reach for the sky.  They are also seen as a symbol of protection and safety.
Eret - Purple Hyacinth - Due to their deep purple coloration, these specific hyacinths represent royalty. Hyacinths in general are often used to ask for forgiveness and show repent for one’s past mistakes.
Foolish - Oriental Lily - These flowers stand for eternal life and are often used to commemorate and respect those who have passed on. They also symbolize purity and innocence.
Fundy - Forget-Me-Not - A flower for those who wish not to be left behind and wish not to leave their loved ones. Even if someone in gone physically, these flowers can serve as a way to remember the good times the caretaker had with their loved one.
Hannah - Hyssop - These feather-duster-esc flowers often represent humility and cleanliness. They can also represent sacrifice.
Charlie - Dryas - A flower meaning longevity and innocence. It has been used as a medicinal flower used to heal the hurt. They can grow and adapt to survival in nearly any place they find.
Purpled - Lavender - A flower of dignity and loyalty, they serve to represent devotion. Yet they also mean distrust, coming from a victorian legend of betrayal and a dangerous assassination.

Tsugaru's bouquet flower meaning
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In Tsugaru's Epilogue he gives his girl a flower bouquet, saying that he wanted to match it to her dress. However, he also nags Kaga about how important flower meanings are if you gift flowers to a girl and mentions that he did some research on it.
So I thought about what his bouquet could mean. Sadly it is not mentioned which flowers he used, but based on the CG I'd say it's blue roses, a poppy and an anemone. And it really fits his trails of thoughts well :'D
Anemone:
The most significant meaning of Anemones is anticipation. With Tsugaru's route being the ultimate slowburn route, it's save to say that he's curious about what's going to happen. Anemones also symbolize fragility and protection from evil, which underline perfectly Tsugarus deepest fear. He knows that happiness can be fleeting and is afraid to get close to anyone again, because he would not be able to live through losing his loved ones another time. With MC already almost having died twice at this point, she doesn't necessarily manage to calm those thoughts xD
Still this wildflower is a reminder to live in the moment and to take opportunities as they come at the right time. It's often given to persons for major changes in their life, and... MC sure is a whirlwind in his :D
Poppy:
Poppies are very common and have several kinds of meanings from peace to death or just sleep. Tsugaru however, used a blue/purple poppy, that symbolizes dreams, success, imagination and luxury. While wishing for her success after he betrayed her in the story, I think the poppy also symbolizes that he likes to imagine/dream to have a chance with her or maybe that he can achieve a peaceful life as well.
Even the poppies other meanings could fit his thoughts. His trauma from losing his family is one of the reasons that keep him from getting closer. The poppies calming effect also applies well to his girl, since Tsugaru is shown to sleep peacefully around her. (when he passes out in her room or they are on stakeout together in the VIP stories). He also likes to reference The Wizard of Oz in Ishigamis route, where poppies make the characters sleep forever.
Blue Rose:
As blue roses cannot naturally produce blue dye, they have to be genetically engineered. Thus they symbolize a mysterious romanticism, unreachable longing or even one-sided true love.
Compared to other guys he also doesn't really know how his girl feels, getting insecure and jealous of other guys around her and sometimes wonder if he is the only one in love.
Tsugaru himself doesn't really understand why he is so drawn to her, but even when he tries to distance himself, he can't let her go. He realized that it's his first true love, but because of several reasons it feels impossible for him. They are living two different kinds of lives and he doesn't want to drag her down into his darkness. Furthermore, he doesn't live for himself but for Shirogane and just waits for his destiny to come true and to be killed. He cannot dare to think of finding happiness, that would make him hope for bright future. For having a family of his own - even if that is his deepest wish.
The number of the roses given also has a meaning. In the bouquet we can see three roses, which stands for the three words: I love you.
But since it's blue roses it would be like: I love you, but it would be a relationship against all odds.
Bouquet
TLDR: Overall the bouquet probably means something along the lines of:
"I care about you, wish the best for you and hope nothing bad happens to you. I love you and I know it's most likely unattainable, but I still want to dream about the possible happiness we might experience together."
Break my heart with flowers, why don't you :'D
Still blue roses fit them well, because you know what else is genetically engineered in their life?
RIGHT!
Noa! The child they raise together.
So if that is no indication of there being a way, I wonder what else is.

We are nearing our end with Imogen!
So I was really torn with Imogen's, I had a few ideas and am worried that these may be more of a stretch than some of the others?
I'm going with Anemones and Larkspur.
So Anemone are called windflowers, which fits in with Imogen's ability to fly. They generally seen as negative flower symbolizing Lost Love and Fragility.
The lost love is normally in connection to death, but it can mean forsaken or forgotten as well. Imogen has most recently lost Laudna, who she definitely loved, but, while love may be a stretch, she also lost Bertrand and while not death, she's also lost her mother. Imogen probably feels extremely fragile on any day. The recurring nightmares, the constant overwhelming feelings from the constant thoughts she can hear, all have to weigh down on her and feel like she could break at any moment.
A positive association with anemone's though is Expectation and Protection.
Anemone close at night, and open in the morning. Imogen likely anticipates waking up after going to sleep, but she also makes her expectations clear on what she wants when working out deals. Working towards the Bell's goals is probably an example of expectations as well. Anemone's supposedly ward off evil as well. Imogen protected her friends from Otohan as best she could, she saved Orym from falling, and so much more. She could also probably use extra protection from the Ruidus Moon.
Larkspur symbolize Good Will and Positive Communication.
Imogen is a good person, who won't stand for injustice. She's kind and soft when she needs to be, even if she can turn into something fierce and dangerous. Imogen, while having her moments, does have good communication skills! She knows how to get her point across when she needs to, and she knew that she needed to talk to Laudna about their issues got work through it all.
Larkspur also symbolizes Remembrance and Lightness or a Sweet Disposition.
Imogen is one of the people that came up with the name Bell's Hells to remember Bertrand Bell. Her ability to see recently passed friends in her dreams feels like another remembrance as well. The lightness can tie in again to Imogen's ability to fly, and a sweet disposition is what she has. Hard not to with a name that means Innocence.
Both Larkspur and Anemone can be purple, and I almost thought of Cosmos as one of her flowers. But these feel like the most like Imogen with where she's at now.
(Laudna), (FCG), (Orym), (Ashton), (Fearne), (Chetney), (Laudna pt.2)
