It's March 1st which means it's the beginning of this year's #marchmeetthemaker. This year I'm determined to participate from beginning to end! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 • Today's prompt is favourite to make and, well, I guess having started with enamel pins and continued for so long making enamel pins it would have to be my favourite. There's something very satisfying about seeing a digital design become a 3 dimensional item, especially something so small and neat. • Some of my absolute favourite pins are the apothecary ones that I released at the end of last year. I've posted a lot of pictures of the lavender pin, often with the mint and rosemary hovering around on the periphery, but I don't think I've posted a close up of the thyme. LOOK HOW CUTE IT IS. It's a mere 1" and such a delicate little beauty. • Thyme is associated with the element water, and therefore the tarot suit of cups. The key word I chose for the oracle card is "courage" because it's a herb used to give one the emotional strength to forge ahead. I still haven't had a chance to photograph all four new pins in the perfect lighting so I apologise to those who have ventured online only to discover I still have the original design work in each listing. I should add that I have taken a lot of photographs but only with artificial lighting - I need some daylight to take better ones! • ANYHOO this post is to remind y'all that the last date for international (non-EU) orders is Monday. All orders placed after then can not be guaranteed to arrive before the holidays, although I dare say that Deutsche Post is cutting things a bit fine with this date. If you want to order something I strongly recommend doing so today or tomorrow so that it gets the post first thing Monday morning. The new apothecary pins are here! I didn't have a chance to properly photograph them in the daylight (there was about 15 minutes of sunshine and the rest of the day was dark and grey) so here's just one of them. • The pre-orders have been packed up and will all be sent with the corresponding oracle cards in addition to the standard backing cards (I don't want to pierce the oracle cards of course, something I didn't actually think about until yesterday haha) The remaining pins are online and will also include the oracle cards whilst stocks last. Once this batch of pins have gone the oracle cards will be an add-on but for now I want to honour the offer I made to include them free of charge. • There aren't that many sets left (a dozen in total) as I want to ensure that those who want to purchase the pins individually are able to do so.
