#limeaid attack on a Monday morning! - Be sure to check out @cyclosomatic 's detailed review of his @wovenprecision #650b wheelset and @compasscycle tires aboard his #romax on our #Facebook page: @brodiebicycles . . .Wall rockin', first thrash today, 220k of asphalt, dirt road and trail, on the brand new @compasscycle #PumpkinRidge tires, which are 650b x 42mm. The smaller wheel size makes these about the same outside diameter as 700c rims with 23mm tires. The cool thing is this format lets riders with tight frame clearance run bigger tires, and now, knobbies! Yes, disc brakes are required. The Pumpkin Ridges are the same diameter as the slick Babyshoe Passes, but don't share the twitchiness some experience on really light wheels like these @wovenprecision carbon hoops. The knobby tire is heavier and the tread probably slows things a bit too, so these don't feel twitchy whatsoever.
