The smaller wheel size makes these about the same outside diameter as 700c rims with 23mm tires. The cool thing is this format lets riders with tight frame clearance run bigger tires, and now, knobbies! Yes, disc brakes are required. The Pumpkin Ridges are the same diameter as the slick Babyshoe Passes, but don't share the twitchiness some experience on really light wheels like these @wovenprecision carbon hoops. The knobby tire is heavier and the tread probably slows things a bit too, so these don't feel twitchy whatsoever. The Pumpkin Ridge

I'm not sure that I have ever shared the story about the Pumpkin Ridge. My sister and I grew up on what is called the Pumpkin Ridge in Smalltown, WI. We are big on tradition and keeping things alive, which is why when we started our small business and started buying our own cattle we wanted to keep the name original, but make sure that it tied into our roots. We like to think we are some kind of northern Belles, which is how the name came about. The Pumpkin Ridge is something that is very near to our hearts.

This past weekend we had the joy of hosting our Annual Pumpkin Ridge Party. This is a celebration of all things Pumpkin Ridge and there is a multitude of people who have been connected to the Pumpkin Ridge is some way, some how. It was a day filled with trap shooting, homemade food, fried fish, and good company. I couldn't imagine growing up anywhere other than the Pumpkin Ridge, and that's where my roots will always be.

How great is it to have a community of old farmers who are really your family!?
