Unfortunately for me my customer service voice is quite higher than my normal voice and I get misgendered and it’s pretty meh

isn't it so funny there's such a thing as "customer service voice"? Like I have to speak to you like a child or you'll rip my face off like a wild chimp

I just realized. Rose. Bad Wolf.

Rose is the only one of the doctor's companions (I think!!??? Correct me if I'm wrong) that has not only committed genocide (OMG we both killed billions of Daleks, twins!!!!!!), but also she absorbed the time vortex and saw the universe the way he sees it. She could relate to him in a way nobody else maybe probably ever could. For just a moment, she was his equal. Of COURSE Nine fell in love with her right before regenerating.

For 2024, I vow to go visit the Milky Way again. I skipped this year and I don’t remember if I went last year. But I used to have a goal of going out into the middle of nowhere and just spending time with God in prayer in the middle of the night when the Milky Way is most visible… maybe May? I need to do that again.

2024 things:

go on more walks at sunset

buy more plants

read as many books as you want

buy as many books as you want

tell the people you love that you love them more often

eat your favorite foods

look at the stars as much as you can

drink more water

pet more kitties

go to a museum or art gallery or planetarium

play in the rain

smile at strangers

get coffee and go thrifting

do kind things for yourself

learn something new

love with reckless abandon

I’m over here scrolling Tumblr to kill time and I hear this group of 5 walk past and one of them says “Híntázik” (translation: he’s swinging (e.g. as with a swinging bench)), and I’m thinking oh my gosh they have no idea I can understand them

Amy’s crying and she doesn’t know why, she tries to help Vincent Van Gogh, maybe thinking she could make a difference and help him out of his depression, even going so far as to show him just how loved and adored and renowned he will be in the future… and ugh just so many EMOTIONS there wow

Bravo to the writers for putting those words in the proper order to capture such a sentiment so well
