Deuce's birthday began like most of his days, with "a very annoying red chicken-like head waking me up" (his own words, not ours), and apparently said chicken followed him all the way from the campus to our studio with a radio on his shoulder playing a rather loud and cursed version of 'Happy Birthday'. I've been trying to learn the world flags so I can identify them (for funsies) and I'm going by continent, starting with America because I am here 🇸🇻 💙

(Putting this under a readmore because longish post about thing that's probably not v interesting so I dont wanna be too annoying BUT. I wanna talk abt it a little anywayz sooo)

It's been SOOO fun, it's really exciting to see a random flag somewhere and to know whose flag it is : -D I passed by a travel agency poster thing with a bunch of South American and Caribbean flags and ahcdbjncd it feels so nice to know things

(only thing is that I've been pronouncing every country name in spanish, which would be correct for most of South America but like. not All of it, I'm sorry Suriname I didnt know the E is silent.. also 4 the Caribbean islands srry 4 pronouncing it Hamáica and Ay-tee(Haití) sobS)

I've been ignoring the USA and Canada flags completely, so a funny side effect of tht is I've been grouping up flags in categories where those 2 would fit, but I only notice a while after hbjnHBN

I was thinking "Out of the America flags, I can only think of 2 that are a vertical tricolor flag with white on the middle and red in one (or 2) of the sides.. Mexico 🇲🇽 and Perú 🇵🇪 😁" .. I forgor canada exists

And I was thinking "Oh there's SO many flags with the france colors here, there's Costa Rica 🇨🇷, Panamá 🇵🇦, República Dominicana 🇩🇴, Chile 🇨🇱, Cuba 🇨🇺, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷, Paraguay 🇵🇾, and Belice 🇧🇿 technically 😁, so many stars too" .. I forgor abt USA

I'm excited to learn the rest of the flags of the other continents and see which ones I like the most, atm my favorites are El Salvador 🇸🇻(which will never change because I'm VERY biased) Bahamas 🇧🇸 and Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹, they look SO nice.. I'm excited to get to Africa, Botswana's flag 🇧🇼 looks super nice too.

One of my favorite places to people watch is at the amusement park. You frequently spot the same people all day long. Sometimes you get little glimpses into their life too.

Yesterday, I went to an amusement park. It was a senior day for high school students, a music competition for middle school, and then there were members of neither group.

Here we’re some of my favorite people spotted:

1) Pro-abortion teen girl with awesome pants, and pride Superman cape.

2) Older (maybe French-Canadian) Dad with a huge mustache

3) Small man with long black hair and giant lettered Puerto Rico shirt

4) His Puerto Rican flag shirt female comrade who kept petting his hair.

5) A group of four middle schoolers I observed. One may have a had a history of trauma. Her method of showing love and interest for her friends involved insulting them, pushing them, and forcibly grabbing them.

6) “Boil’em, Mash’em, Stick’em in a stew” guy.

7) “Just chilling” toucan tee-shirt dad. He looked like J.J. Simmons mixed with Christopher Lloyd.

8) The young goths of America.

These were just a few of my favorite people’s watched. When a new person would become noticed we would exclaim “A new character has emerged.”

Fun pants, short-hair cuts, and converse were some of the favorite clothing choices.

I think the most offensive thing about Tony Hinchcliffes racist jokes at the trump rally (that certain trump supporters were like "You're just triggered! You're just way too sensitive ARREGGGG") was that he just wasn't even close to being funny.

Okay but even if it wasn't grossly racist it just wasn't funny. Like it was bottom of the barrel "I'm 12 and I think I'm funny" racist jokes that were just... So baseline and basic you could have given the mike to any white middle schooler and gotten funnier material.

And then there was one where he went "I welcome migrants with open arm's, like this"

Then what I thought was so funny was that they had this man on stage, and there is absolutely no way that everything he said wasn't vetted, he calls Puerto Rico garbage but then the senile old man, I'm sorry president Biden, (who btw cause it seems like some people keep forgetting is not running anymore) calls trump supporters garbage and holy shit it's like the sky is falling and suddenly it doesn't feel so nice being called garbage and some wittle feewings are hurt.

I have a personal conspiracy that Tony is actually a big Harris fan (so much that he was wearing a Harris Walz Tee under the suit) and bombed on purpose because the "Just like they did to our country" line in the God awful "hick" accent was, uh certainly a choice lmao
