Walking Dead Month rolls on with a brand-new episode of Countdown! Nick Duke and Greg Phillips, the Hard-Traveling Fanboys, are joined by Walking Dead Month alumna Jennifer Smith to discuss the worst of the worst when it comes to AMC’s The Walking Dead. I slept in until 2PM and I feel like shit

I also had a few long dreams, which explains why I feel like crap, they take a lot out of me

It started with me in a van with my two full sibs driving what looked like somewhere in the Okanagan Valley, where we came across a Sonic’s. It didn’t look like any I’ve seen though, and it had a connection with Sonic the hedgehog. The place was big, and I wanted to go in since I’ve never been in a Sonic’s before. My sibs agreed and came with me. 

The place was strange. They took donuts and made them into milkshakes, and a lot of the food they offered had ties with Shrek.

My big sib ordered a donut and got the donut. I wanted the same thing, but I didn’t know what they ordered. I struggled a bit, and found out that we had to leave soon. I found the donut I wanted, and the person at the counter worked on making it into a milkshake. 

During that time, one of the other people at the counter mistook me for another customer and tried to give me a “Donkey Pudding”, which looked like flan but was black on the top and the sides were grey and white striped. The customer that ordered it corrected the server and took their pudding. I then got my shake and me and my sibs grabbed a table.

One of the servers was working on what looked like a winnie the pooh ice cream cake, which one of us had seemingly ordered. The process got more and more complex until they poured something in this huge plastic bucket, and it revealed a complex scene with a few of the characters from the series living in cozy underground burrows.

Then a toddler walked into the cake, breaking the outer shell, and revealing that the inside was made out of candy. The toddler was presumably my little sister.

Me and my sibs spent some time in the candy cake, but then we had to leave, and we tried our best to pack as much of the candy as possible into edible cellophane sheets. The cellophane was sweet and the red ones were cherry flavoured.

When we were outside I found that this “Sonic’s” had animatronics and was intended for an older audience.

In the second dream, I cycled all the way to Nova Scotia in a few hours, because it was close by and not on the other side of the country, and I ended up in a very rural town. It was overcast. 

I met a few people and decided to head back home, bc I didn’t want to upset my foster mom. I was heading back and the path I took was now filled with a ton of school busses, bumper to bumper, waiting to get on a ferry that lead back home. I thought that since I was on a bike, I didn’t need to go on the ferry, so I passed by the toll box and continued down the road. But a lady caught me and told me that I was on the ferry without paying my toll, and I ran into my lil sis. I paid both of our tolls.

Then me, my lil sis, and the lady who caught me went into an elevator, which was aqua and shaped like an upside down pyramid, and we arrived at an area that looked like a gas station store, there were a bunch of fridges full of food, and one shelf, tucked away in a corner that had non perishable food on it.

My lil sis and I wanted food, so I picked out a few things, and ate a few things while I was looking. I paid for everything, and it came out to a little over $40.

The lady at the desk asked me where we were from, and I replied with Armstrong, and asked if she heard of it. She did, and she showed us video she took when she was on the Armstrong ferry (Armstrong doesn’t have a ferry). The ferry went underwater, and the lake was grey and grimy and was full of these creatures that were a mix of horseshoe crabs and giant isopods, and had big red glowing eyes. And one was chasing the “ferry”. Everyone thought this was amusing and not terrifying at all.

After the video, I agreed that the water in Armstrong was pretty grimy.

This led to another dream where the HTF tv series lasted for nine seasons and the last three episodes were building up to this dramatic and epic finale, which was happening now. Also Flippy was the main antagonist.

Chaos ensues, and the entire cast was fighting each other (presumably to the death). Someone, possibly Flippy, asked everyone how many episodes they have starred in.

A few characters answered, but I only remember Mime’s answer, which was five in total, all in the first season. Despite this answer, I was thrilled.

His “voice” was a tts voice over that sounded like the Japanese tts voice “Sakura”. This led to a headcanon that Mime used a tts device to communicate with everyone.

And one of Mime’s episodes was similar to one of Giggle’s episodes. Same location, similar premise, but there were different outcomes. I can’t remember much about them, but they took place in an irl hardware/fishing goods store and both of them were tiny.

htfs and the textures i think theyd have if i bit into them

cuddles: marshmallow. soft. like digging ur teeth into those jumbo mallows

toothy: sopping wet disinfectant wipe. flat and squeaky against the molars. weird

giggles: dots candy. almost stale if youre trying hard enough. relatively malleable

petunia: acetone. disappears as fast as it comes in contact with your teeth. very cold

lumpy: sand. gritty and falls out of your mouth in large clumps. unbiteable but still crunchy

handy: sawdust. similar to sand but finer and more persistent. probably has residue

pop: foam insulation. takes effort to pierce through. chewy

cub: jello pudding. slippery and wiggly

disco bear: pickle. crunchy for like the first two bites. then its mush

russell: actual wood. like biting a wooden pole. possible splinters

flippy: solid cheesecake filling. like in the fridge kinda solid. almost like butter

fliqpy: crackly. not dissimilar to pop rocks. a tad sharp

shifty: banana peel. stringy and possibly pasty. bad goosebumps

lifty: apple stem. not solid enough but not soft enough. kind of annoying

sniffles: stack of papers. practically impossible to bite right. incredibly gross feeling if you drag your teeth against it directly

nutty: period blood clot. bad

mole: horizontal toothpicks. has the potential to be very painful but its not. still splinter possibility

flaky: fake itchy sweater. stray threads brushing at your mouth. plastic

mime: dense cake. very chewy. (un)surprising lack of air

lammy: half-dried candle wax. oily

splendid: raw steak. cold. gross
