Jotaro: Lisa Lisa taught him the cigarette trick that Polnareff and Kakyoin wanted Oingo to do while he was disguised as Jotaro.

Jolyne: this is so not canon compliant but I love the idea that she visited Giorno and friends at some point when she was younger and Polnareff and Mista are the ones that taught her how to flip the bird French and Napoli style GUFHJGFHGDF

General opinion over said character:

Jotaro: okay so. I got into jojo’s when I was about 15-ish and back then I actually really hated him lmao (I thought he was really boring in part 3 and I was annoyed that EOH focuses waaaay too much on him to the detriment of the other jojos). He’s still my least favorite jojo (if judged on debut part only) but he has grown A LOT on me since then, and I ADORE him post part 3.

Jolyne: she’s not my favorite jojo but god I love her. It’s hard for me to put into words but like, when I first read stone ocean years ago, she clicked with me immediately and I think she’s a really enjoyable and honestly very, idk, down to earth character? Like if you asked me which jojo I would want to hang out with it’d probably be her (or Josuke). If part 10 ever becomes a thing, I do hope we get another female jojo, but if we don’t then I’m happy that the female jojo we have is as great as she is.

also anyone that calls her a failure of a protag because she didn’t beat pucci can f*cking shove it.

This was an arranged marriage first and foremost, most likely a product of George Joestar’s concern for Dio’s future considering Jonathan would theoretically inherit everything he owned.

He wanted to make sure that Dio had something. Land, money, anything that would act as an investment.

Maybe you weren’t the richest or the right social standing, but at the very least George saw something in you that he thought Dio might find appealing.

You attracted him because you were at first kind, quiet and intelligent. Your compliments were genuine and sincere, and you didn’t fall for his looks at first.

Dio probably put on the sweet, unobtrusive facade and George thought your seemingly sweet nature would be a good match.

Unfortunately you don’t take any shit from Dio. Your fight and drive makes him scared and horny at the same time.

Once you screamed at him for being an arrogant prick that couldn’t stop boasting about anything and he found out he had a degradation kink.

He’s smitten with you and never wants to leave you alone for a second. Probably loses track of his ambition for even a split second when he realizes that such a sweet little spitfire actually likes him and wants to be around him.

You’ll have better luck molding him to your needs if you’re a little selfish and attention seeking. Dio is an attention seeking whore himself, and when he realizes that you’re holding your affections hostage every time he acts up, he’s going to trip up and look like a pathetic moron trying to chase after you desperately.

The best way to make sure he will never stray is to make sure that you present yourself as someone he cannot have.

Especially if you start to talk to other suitors, his mind will explode with jealousy.

Quickest way to get him to leave Jonathan alone is when you start threatening to throw yourself on young Lord Joestar’s arm. Dio will melt down and insist on keeping you away from him by any means.

He actually avoids Jonathan for a while so you don’t get swept up by him.

It drives him up the wall when he realizes you can’t be bullied into blind submission. You’ll sass him every step of the way.

“I Dio, am your husband to be, and you will treat me with respect!”

“Aww… the wee baby is upset because he found out the world doesn’t revolve around his selfish wants.”

Yet it seems like your strong personality might have a hand in changing him for the better. Best case scenario could be that he wants to simply live devoting his life to you. Especially if you take the time to sincerely try and make his life with you better than anything he’s ever known.

You’ll do little things for him like letting him lay his head in your lap, telling him he’s wonderful and clever, or if you two have children you’ll assert your confidence in him that he is an excellent provider and exemplar of manhood in that he is devoted to your little family.

Otherwise, he decides that you’re the first to turn into a vampire with the stone mask.

The latter scenario causes you to bitch at him for the next 100 years and scream and cry about his thottery.

Pucci would also be a little cunt and try to break the two of you up.
