Synopsis:

In a ruined castle deep in the wilderness, there lived a beautiful princess guarded by a ferocious dragon. Except for the fact that the maiden in the tower was no princess at all, but the dragon’s daughter. Rescued against her will, she is carried off to human lands and given the name Lady Patrice Drake. Caught between culture shock and grief, she must find a way to navigate her strange new surroundings lest she be drowned under human machinations and politics. Who among these people are enemies? Who among them are allies? And most importantly, who is she without her mother’s guidance and protection?

Should I make a side blog for the Imprisoning War AU? :-/ Would people even be interested in that? I feel like it would stop oversaturating my blog with it since I know most don’t care for it, but also… side blog effort. But also… better organized for people who do care about it.

On second thought, I’d probably still oversaturate the main blog lol, I do for the healthcare AU when I publish stuff for that. Idk. I’m feeling insecure 😅🙃

(I should add that if you do not read this AU that is 100% ok!!! We all have what we do and don’t like, I’m just being a baby because it’s one of my favorite AUs lol)

so i forgot i can probably like. announce like a normal person that i finally wrote a tau fanfic, huh? on somewhere that isn't just the tau18 server?

anyway if anyone wants 26k of a transcendence au fic that includes outsider pov of alcor from a perspective we don't often get, gratuitous references to tau mutuals, tons of little sentences and phrasings that i added in specifically because i think i'm hilarious, numerous cameos and references to other tau fics/arcs, a lot of fake legal stuff that sounds accurate if you don't think about it too hard, a sneaky crossover with one of my own original stories that hasn't been written yet, and so many metric tons of worldbuilding that i did behind the scenes that it'll probably force me into writing more in this 'verse: this might be something you can look at!

The remaining cards for "Shimmering Skies" were revealed over on the official Lorcana Discord server, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that another DuckTales (2017) card was part of this batch! This time, it's our third Scrooge card for the game! What definitely caught my eye was the artwork; the way he was drawn reminds me a bit of koizumi-marichan's art!
