the moment she looks up at him was like a signal of relief surrounding him. those eyes. he commits to memory with every passing second. he can recognize them anywhere.

he laughs at the weak punch, grabbing her hand for the time being and holding it close to his chest, almost as if right above his heart and he keeps it there for a few seconds more. and that’s just it. he simply stares at her, capturing that little pout with his purple hues, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

“even if i know what to say, pip-squeak, i mean every single thing i say to you.” he reassures her, his eyes widening when she places a kiss, even if it was a barrel-there-kiss, it’s a kiss nonetheless that he would take any day. especially when it’s coming from her. 

geez. she’s so damn cute. 

an amused laugh emits as he follows her to the kitchen, tentatively keeping some distance, but not anything too far because he needs to be close to her.

“that i am,” he replies, peeking at her as he smiles. “i haven’t ate yet, actually. this impromptu trip happened right after i finished a flight–”

he reaches out to take her hand in his, his thumb gingerly brushing along her knuckles as he stares at them instead of her, lifting it to press his lips against her fingers softly. 

“for as long as i can.” he whispers, “is that all right with you?”

She's been staring at the phone in her hand for the past, maybe, fifteen minutes or so...

And she's pacing.

The familiar, apple-y profile stares her right in the face like a reminder of what she's just too chicken to do—and she should call, probably. Text, even. Something, anything!

But what would she even say, right?! Hey, how you doing?!

The thought of it has her mortified just as her phone dings with a message, and she feels lightheaded—

It's just Tara.

She gives the message a once-over, figures she could totally use some time out with friends, for once...

「 waaaahhh, actually i think it would be Real Great if we met up today T^T need a distraction...!!! 」

And maybe it's because she isn't thinking properly—or thinking too much, rather—but the second the text goes through, she realizes all too late that she hadn't switched to Tara's message.

She was still on Caleb's text profile.

The message had gone to him.

1) Mi chiamo Angela e questo nome non dovrebbe essere in alcun modo legato a qualche parente alla lontana di cui non so nemmeno l'esistenza bensì dalla situazione che si è creata durante il parto ed è stato come un miracolo essere riusciti a farmi nascere, perciò "un angelo disceso dal cielo" ... si molto poetico mami grazie <3

2) ehhhh sono troppo emotiva e lunatica quindi beh ieri pomeriggio è stata l'ultima volta che ho pianto

3) ma quali figli?! Al massimo considero "figli" i miei peluche ahahah

4) uso abbastanza il sarcasmo e puntualmente non vengo capita quando lo faccio ahah

5) attualmente pratico lo sport del bowling, in passato ho provato per forse meno di un mese nuoto in piscina e non è stata una bella esperienza anzi traumatica ma questa è un'altra storia ahah e poi pallavolo nel doposcuola alle medie (non fa per me) infatti durante educazione fisica preferivo provare a giocare a basket. Da piccina ho fatto danza classica per un paio di anni mentre ora daje con i balli di gruppo in piazza ma non è uno sport ops ahah

6) prima cosa che noto cioè che attira la mia attenzione se ho una persona davanti è il sorriso e poi il colore dei capelli, mentre se stiamo parlando in chat direi il saper ridere e fare ridere senza cadere nel volgare

7) ho gli occhi marroni!

8) scary che?! Io puahaha meglio i film con happy endings però se ci scappa un piccolo colpo di scena alla fine non è che mi dispiaccia invece del solito bacio con ripresa roteante ahah

it seems like it was just yesterday when vesper managed to convince jiwon to come with him to go watch a movie, a scary one for the spirit of halloween has bestowed upon them and of course, the time of year has come again and vesper had something even better planned. vesper opening up the door with the ad on the phone as well as physically in his hand. granted it’s not an actual haunted house, of course he wouldn’t let jiwon go anywhere near one for the sake of his mate’s heart even if he promises to take care of him before, during and after. but this one could be fun. 

“jiwonnie! it’s that time of year again.” he sing-songs as he crouches down to tickle under kofi’s chin and pick him up to give him a few kisses before setting him down, watching as the pupper runs back to where he was originally before having greeted vesper.
