The scene in The Dark World where the guard tells Odin that a body was found on Svartalfheim. I haven't seen an in-depth discussion of some questions the scene raises:

Did Odin send the guard as soon as he realised Thor had freed Loki from his cell? Did he plan on throwing them both in a cell together as punishment? Or in adjoining cells? (Note: this would make a great fanfic, someone write it if it doesn't already exist. Brotherly bickering! Shared angst over Frigga's death! Joining forces to present a united front against Odin!)

I presume the guard had an easier way to get there vs. Loki's path through the mountain crack? Was Svartalfheim even accessible once the Convergence passed? (So like...could Thor have returned for Loki's body later? Or was there only a narrow window to get there and, more importantly, leave?)

When the guard got there, was Loki still looking like a dead body? Or was he already reviving and trying to figure out what to do next? Did he kill the guard before he took on his appearance? Presumably there was an actual guard since Odin wasn't surprised by the guard showing up with his report. (Again, has anyone ficced this?)

Is the weapon the guard mentions the Aether?

18. What’s one of your favorite lines you’ve written in a fic?

This is the line that my brain always comes back to when anyone asks this question.

“What words would you have me say?” he asked. He could tell her that he loved her, three words that could mean something and nothing and everything all at the same time, but would always be suspect from the lips of a liar. It had taken him a full turn of the seasons to gather enough courage to say them the first time. “My heart is caught, shredding and bleeding while it beats and breaks around the blade of your affections. It’s yours, Sif,” he told her. Words as gentle and soft as he had ever spoken. “It always has been.”

This is from a story I'd written for @psychoticgirl way back in December 2012 called haven't forgotten my way home. I struggled so much when I wrote it originally, to the point of disliking it. It's taken time and distance, but I've come to really love it. And this particular moment in it specifically.

1. Talk about the first ship you ever had. Hmm, it's kinda funny because how I got into fandom in general was through HP fanfiction and I was introduced to fanfiction before I had any idea about ships or even knew what shipping was (back when I was 12, wow). I supposed I liked Harry x Ginny and Ron x Hermione, as I wanted these ships to happen in the books, but I didn't really care for them? And then, I got really into Marauders era fanfiction which was mostly Sirius/OFC, Remus/OFC and James/Lily. Then, book five came along, and with that Bellatrix, and Sirius/Bella was really my first ship? Or at least my first otp. It was the first time I had an active role in the fandom, I wrote fic, I participated on forums, talked to people about them etc. They were everything and, lmao, I still see so much of the same tropes that first attracted me to them on my current ships.

5. Do you have any poly ships? Yesss. Grigor x Georgina x Catherine x Peter (The Great) are my favorite foursome. I think they would just complement each other and also avoid a lot of heartbreak if they had just gotten all together. And then, as far as threesome goes: Ava x Boyd x Raylan (Justified); Silver x Madi x Flint (Black Sails), Niall x Leslie x Irial (Wicked Lovely), and, more recently, Anthony x Siena x Simon and Siena x Genevieve x Marina, from Bridgerton. And probably a lot more I'm forgetting. I think ot3s can be a very interesting dynamic when you manage to write it without anyone being left out.

37. Do you have a favorite trope and/or AU for your OTP? In terms of AUs, since a lot of my ships are either from period dramas or supernatural shows, I tend to like modern/all human AUs. I guess I like seeing how these characters would translate into our world (or I'm just boring). And then, anything involving either corporate jobs or mafias or crime (yes, all those things go together in my head).

1. Talk about the first ship you ever had. | I think the first one I remember being very into was Grissom/Sara from CSI.  I’m sure there was a few that I enjoyed before I knew what shipping was, but GSR was the one that I was fully involved in.  

26. Have you noticed a pattern in your shipping? Is there a romantic dynamic you’re more drawn to? | I have a fair amount of MayDecember ships, but I also am a fan of Strong Silent Type who falls in love with Sunshine Baby.  

37. Do you have a favorite trope and/or AU for your OTP? | I’m a sucker for hurt/comfort and I have read more coffee shop AUs than is probably healthy.

Odin made a rough snarling noise. “I shall not let you die at all, if I have anything to say about it. If Thanos, or anyone else comes hunting you, they shall have to go through me first.” Loki’s eyes went wide and startled, making him look very young.

(There are actually several lines after this, but the actual last currently written line of "A perfunctory knock sounded on the door and Eir entered the room" wasn't very interesting; this is the last line that I know I won't be changing further down the line in the edit phase. The set-up: Frigga is in a coma after being stabbed by the Kursed and Loki has been allowed to come say any final words to her in case she doesn't make it. (Eir did some guilt-tripping on Odin and Loki has sworn to behave like the good boy that he is because he doesn't really want his last words to Frigga to have been "you're not my mother".) Odin and Loki are both feeling vulnerable. They are talking about feelings. Truths are coming out.)
