Ok I’m just gonna say it. My feelings about Kougami up to this point:
(Disclaimer: I have not seen PPP yet so my impressions are based on the spoilers and discussions that all the watchers have had, -and they are subject to change) - also trying to separate my shipper feelings from this but beware of my inherent bias anyway.
Season 1: Kougami is generally very warm and protective towards Akane. He doesn’t see her as a woman yet but they both validate each other to an unimaginable degree. I mean, she risked her life and psycho pass to help him track down Makishima who ppl believed was a ghost. She restored the credibility of his investigative abilities and made him actually think that there might be a better world without the structural divisions that they have. That didn’t stop him from breaking the law but it’s obvious that he especially thought very highly of her even after leaving the country.
Psycho Pass: The Movie: honestly, the movie is so enjoyable with regards to Kougami’s character development. He smiles at Akane so much in this movie, tries to get validation from her and again is really protective of her. They definitely pose Akane as more womanly and more as a equal with him - both in physical and mental abilities. She also impresses him several times in the film. He’s overall amused like “wow, she actually followed me all the way out here. What a woman”
SS Case 3: He sings praises of Akane ofcourse, even in the presence of an undeniable beauty like Frederica. If anything, we can contrast Frederica finding him to Akane finding him in the first movie, and his dialogue and body language alone show how he’s mildly annoyed by or at least resistant to Frederica’s presence. Most of his character arc here is in relation to Tenzing though which I suppose was supposed to teach him to be responsible for more than just himself(?), but that ends up being left open ended during his fight with Garcia (I mean he stabs the man to death before they can conclude the dialogue). Overall though, Kougami’s smiles are for Tenzing here and also when he’s saying that he’ll return to Japan.
Season 3 and First Inspector: He’s either all focused on the investigation at hand or with Akane. Everytime he smiles in this season- it’s for Akane! And not to mention, they don’t even really discuss work or philosophy in their interactions, but more about themselves and what they’ve missed from each other after being separated for years. This is what gave me hope that his emotional intelligence had improved and he would finally find some peace in Akane’s presence.
Providence: Based on what I’ve read, Kougami feels rather out-of-character in this. Like a weird blip in the timeline of his character arc. All the bonus scenes I saw anyway just made his interactions with Akane awkward. I didn’t expect it to be absolutely smooth but where’s the warmth that he initially had for this woman in S1 and the 1st movie??? What is this fuckboi behavior Kougami??? Maybe he’s able to make up for it in the 3rd act of Providence at least based on the notes I’ve read but he’s just so cold. Like he has a point to make?? I’m so confused. The tone of Providence is just cold in general and we keep seeing scenes where Ko and Akane are just on their own, never really together and communicating - the rain, the ice, the cold city drafts - just adds to it. But maybe the fact that S3 and PPFI comes after this gives us hope that he did get his act together and maybe visited her more and actually talked this out with her while she was in confinement. Maybe we’ll get some bonus scenes in a novel format.
I haven’t even seen PPP yet and I already need a season 4 to redeem Kougami’s character like what the hell. (And I’m sure the animation staff are exhausted and I don’t wanna encourage overworking them) - even if it’s like a measly 45 sec scene, I need to see the warm and caring Kougami again.
Providence looks phenomenal though - the team definitely outdid themselves - and I can’t wait to watch it.

From #Shinkane to #ShizuAka
This is a long post about my journey from shipping Shinkane (for a long time) but decided to move on to ShizuAka.
Yes, we all know Shinya Kogami and Akane Tsunemori do have special bond. Like mental connection with each other. Soulmates as we call it. Connected by the Red String of Fate (as we call in Japanese).
And most of the characters from PP-verse validates and knows this. Such as Masaoka and his son Ginoza for example. But there are quite a lot of evidence that made us all flap our ears whenever our favorite pair Shinya x Akane is concerned.
Some instances are:
PP Season 1:
Everyone says that it's Kou's infamous scream "Akaneee!" that proves Shinkane exists. But I do believe it was when Masaoka and Kogami shared a drink the night he left the PSB that proves Shinkane almost exist (watch EP. 18 again and know for yourself what do I mean!)
Kogami's letter. That's it. We all know it. The fact that he wrote a hand written note for her, not for Shion, not for Ginoza, not even to his mom! We all know that he value her so much.
Okay, alright... that infamous scream when he shouted for his name!
When he smiled when Akane and her team went on to Makishima's location ahead after learning of Kou's plan (thanks to Akane). He gleamed with pride.
When he didn't immediately run to catch Makishima, but instead carry Akane (bridal style) into safety when they were in a corn field. Or Oat field, I forgot. It shows how much he cared for her.
At this point I think everyone pretty much confirmed they shared a special bond.
PP - The Movie (1st)
When Kou first save her from explosion by shielding with his sexy abs 🤭
When Kou suggested her to stay with him for the night when there's clearly more room with the female locals in the Angkor Wat.
Their silent "I-know-you-care-know-I-care" treatment when Akane has to leave upto the point they were captured by Wong.
Kou wasn't surprised when Akane handed him a cigarette like he expects her to have them.
Don't forget to mention about Wong capturing them two together and plan to frame them just them. Only them. Because he sees them as threat. As if they were an item 🙄
PP - SS3
He's mad when Frederica stayed for the night and he don't know why .
He's proud of Akane's accomplishment after hearing Frede talks about the success of Div 1 as a team.
His regrets for exacting revenge and hesitations to have Tenzing follow his path mirrors Akane's ideals.
His mention of "He still have things to protect in Japan" (pay attention on that one) because in;
PP - Providence
He tries his best to reconnect with Akane but a case gets in their way.
His willingness to throw himself between her legs just to save her from an explosion almost a mile away from them compare to PP movie explosion.
His classic line "I'll follow you, even if you told me not to".
His protective nature all throughout the movie upto Akane's downfall.
His teary eyes while reading Akane's letter.
His promise to take her out of that place.
That Psycho Pass Recap during PPP promotionals which showcases the Shinkane viewpoint.
PP - S3 & FI
He don't have to pay Akane a visit nor to pick her up from jail because she's no longer his inspector! But he did anyway.
He keeps on saying he trust her and believes in her.
He didn't hurt Arata because he knows he is Akane's ward. Yes it is included.
The Merch
Yes am talking about the #KoAka keychain.
The PPP movie poster where Kou and Akane's faces are in the big picture and the rest are inside their heads!
The fan service stuff and clickbaits for all #Shinkane or #Koaka junkies!
The unforgivable hints of any romantic subplots from radio drama, merch, narrative etc.
My point is, all of them are just a setup to garner more viewership because they know Shinkane fandom is a big bunch!
But in the end, they want to tear us down by breaking our hearts with platonic inclinations between Kou and Akane 😭
The Segue:
Yes they created a segue under the guise of Frederica Hanashiro and Shizuka Homura.
We all know that PsychoPass Producers wanted to go down the path of Shonen Jump-esque plot. Which is why they seen #Shinkane fanbase as a threat. Although they don't want to shun the viewership influence of it.
That's why they create this "icings" (Shinkane sweet moment) as we call it to clickbait us! 😭😞
The Lure:
That's why in PPP Sinners of the System 3 and PPP they wanted to showcase Kogami x Frederica (the KouxFrede touching hand scene), the "Hey Akane don't blame Frederica for Saiga's death", to teach us that Kou is shippable with Frederica (a hot blonde).
Why Shinkane is a strong fan fave?
Because Akane is relatable character.
Because Kogami is a hot mess.
Akane a plain looking girl able to get the impression of Kogami a good-looking bad boy and former ace detective.
We all can easily identify with Akane. Us ordinary girls with strong principles are dreaming of a hot dude like Kogami who has ex-militia skills to swoon us over.
How the writers are tearing the #Shinkane/#KoAka fanbase:
Akane did ask (or even beg) Kogami to come back to Japan (from Season 1 especially the Psycho Pass Gekijōban, but he express no desire.
Only when Frederica, a tall-blonde-gorgeous looking half-brit half-japanese woman was able to bring him back.
They have a flirtateous moment in Sinners of the System part 3 novel during their night conversation.
The Kou x Frede indirect kiss through the bottle Scene.
Kou always standing beside Frederica.
Kou still choose to work in SAD with Frederica eventhough he has a chance to go back to PSB in PPP.
Kou's been treating Akane like trash eversince he gets back:
(1) During his famous balcony call when Akane hangs up. He didn't say sorry but instead let his pride dominate him.
(2) He only visited Akane in Season 3 after 2 years (when he rest his back at the door simply because he felt awkward bending to look at the window of Akane's height.
(3) He only picks her up out of guilt after he reads her hand-written letter.
(4) It was Shizuka Homura who negotiated Akane out of jail not Kogami.
(5) Kogami didn't comforted Akane. Only Ginoza did.
(6) Kogami had the chance to go back for Akane but he didn't. He chose to stay with Frede in S.A.D.
(7) Shinkane is one-sided. Only Akane likes him. But Ko?? No. The novels confirm that.
The Future of Shinkane:
From this point forward we can't expect anything much from this ship. Although as fans, we will keep them into our hearts and be as free as clouds to do more fanfictions out of these two characters because we've been rooting them since day 1.
But I think the writers want to us to move on with Kogami x Frederica and Shizuka x Akane.
With that, eventhough I still ship KoAka/Shinkane, I keep the possibilities open should the writers want to push them to other characters.
My Dime:
At this point I truly wish Akane would die in Kogami's arms and he finally realize he too has feelings for her but it's too late (as Saiga foretold), and he gets back to PSB mentoring new characters. Applying both his ideals to never overlook injustice plus also applying Akane's principles to uphold what is right by being just and fair.

Birthdays Past and Present
Can also be read on AO3!
Rating: T
Fandom: Psycho-Pass
Pairing: Shinkane (Kogami/Akane)
Characters: Akane Tsunemori, Shinya Kogami, Shuusei Kagari, Nobuchika Ginoza
Summary: The business of reforming society to be more compassionate has turned birthdays into a luxury Akane can't afford.
A/N: Happy birthday, Akane!! 💖 Sorry this is a bit late lol  (Further author’s notes can be read on AO3)
The first time Akane had a birthday as a PSB Inspector, she nearly missed her own birthday dinner.
Kaori had called her, despite Yuki’s firm belief that Akane wouldn’t cancel this one time. The call made Akane jump, her attention jerking away from the report she was working on. She scrambled to leave the office as she answered the call, but not before Yuki’s excited “Happy birthdayyyyyy!” rang out around the room.
“It’s her birthday?” Kagari looked oddly hurt, and his frown was almost accusatory when he turned to Ginoza. “How come she didn’t tell any of us?”
“Because she’s an adult with more important things to worry about,” Ginoza answered, but his dismissive tone contradicted the way his eyes drifted over to Akane’s form through the glass.
“Yeah, but I’m her friend! She should’ve told me, I could’ve made her a cupcake or something.”
“How come we don’t get cupcakes on our birthdays?”
“Because, Ko, Akane-chan doesn’t bully me like the rest of you do.”
Ginoza opened his mouth to tell the Enforcers to focus on their work, but then Akane stepped back into the room, and his focus returned to her. “That seemed urgent.”
“Hm? Oh, it’s...it’s nothing, I’m sorry for the disruption.” She moved to her desk, only to be stopped by Ginoza speaking again.
“Tell me, Tsunemori, how many reports do you have left?”
Akane cringed - she really had been working hard all day, but the number of unopened files didn’t seem to lessen at all, and she knew she would be reprimanded for having so many left. “Um...I’ve finished about half of them.”
“And you were planning on finishing them before meeting with your friends?”
“I...I wasn’t going to go. I just cancelled with them.”
“Then you’d better call them back and undo the cancellation.”
“Ginoza-san…?”
“Go, enjoy your birthday. I’ll finish your reports.”
“Eh?!”
“It’s just for today. In the future, don’t expect me to cover for your slow pace. Now go, before I change my mind.”
“I- thank you!” A delighted smile pushed at Akane’s flushed cheeks, and she left with a bounce in her steps that hadn’t been seen since her first week.
No one said anything until her steps stopped echoing down the hall, and Ginoza kept his gaze fixed to his screen in an attempt to avoid the brows being raised at him.
“Well…,” Kogami finally murmured, “that was nice of you.” He didn’t get a reply, but that didn’t stop a knowing smirk from pulling at his lips.
When Akane stepped into work the next day, she nearly walked into a perfect little cupcake, presented to her by a beaming Kagari.
That was the last time she got to eat his food.
And that was the last year Akane celebrated her birthday.
In the following years, she only realized her birthday had passed when she noticed her age had gone up in her psycho-pass. There was always just...too much to do. Too many cases to solve, too many lives to try to save, too many traps from Sibyl to avoid. Sometimes, occasionally, she made it to dinner with Kaori. But with every passing year, the weight of the lives stolen from her grew heavier, and celebrating another year felt hollow in the face of her work.
She didn’t expect that to change, even with Kogami’s return to Japan. Still, she couldn’t help feeling a pang when he told her their next mission would find them leaving Japan right on her birthday. With Kogami gone and Kaori busy with her married life, April 1st passed like any other workday, with the added joy of a quick birthday greeting and hug from Shion.
But Akane got a pleasant surprise when she opened her fridge that night and found a stack of sealed dishes waiting for her, with a small envelope on the top. The warped glassware couldn’t disguise the familiar look of Kogami’s fried rice and Tomoyo’s curry and beef dishes, and Akane was already smiling by the time she opened the envelope.
I’m sorry to sneak in on your birthday. I hope the taste of my mom’s cooking makes up for it — she wanted to make sure you ate well on your birthday, even though we can’t be there to celebrate with you.
I would give anything to be there with you, to serve you food on warm plates and with a kiss. But for now...at least I know you’ll enjoy the food. The kiss will come as soon as we get back. Happy birthday, Akane.
She did enjoy the food. Of course she would’ve preferred to eat it with Kogami, but the fact that he’d snuck in before the FAD’s departure that day made her chest feel tight with love. She couldn’t call him to thank him - he’d told her ahead of time that they had to go somewhere with little-to-no communications infrastructure - but she did call Tomoyo, leaving a heartfelt message in her voicemail so she wouldn’t wake her up.
And so her birthday passed, come and gone with hardly a trace. Over the following weeks, in her spare moments between work and training, Akane wondered after Kogami and the rest of his team, and when they would be returning home. But he never called, and she knew there was no point in waiting or wishing for the impossible.
After all this time, she should’ve learned to expect the unexpected. Maybe then she wouldn’t have frozen in surprise when she entered her apartment and found Kogami standing at her table, where a small cupcake sat with a lit candle. “Happy birthday.”
“You’re back.”
“Yeah. I’m sorry I didn’t- mph!” Before he could finish his apology, Akane was throwing her arms around his shoulders and pulling his lips to hers, making him grab her hips to steady them both. The kiss started messy and clumsy, but within seconds they fell into a rhythm, slow and relished and as natural as anything, until they were both flushed when they pulled apart. “Welcome home,” Akane murmured, her breath ghosting over his lips.
“I missed you.”
“Me too.”
She tried to press forward again, but Kogami gently nudged her away with a soft laugh. “The cupcake’s going to be covered in wax.”
“Would you be insulted if I told you I didn’t care much about the cupcake right now?”
“Terribly. I might leave this moment.” His eyes twinkled as he spoke, and his arms wrapped tighter around, pressing her close until their bodies were flush against each other.
“What if I told you how much I loved the food you and your mother made?”
“Hm...maybe I’ll stay. But you at least have to blow out the candle.”
Akane obeyed, pulling away just enough to blow out the candle without leaving Kogami’s arms. It took a few tries, but she succeeded with a satisfied grin. “There.”
“You’re not going to eat it?”
“I’m interested in a different treat.”
Kogami’s laughs were smothered by her lips, and it wasn’t long before he was carrying her to the bedroom, cupcake abandoned on the table for something sweeter.

ONF IN PSYCHO PASS AU (part 2)
Setting : angst, murder (influenced mass murder), futuristic society, you can read the introduction post prior reading this AU headcanon (for a better understanding cos some keywords will be slightly difficult for non anime audiences)
And warning long post and shipping hinting (I wont write it over explicit but if you are anime audience you can get the hint of which character I based so its suggestive should you integrated anime counterpart to ONF couterpart) if you are uncomfortable with that just kindly ignore it. Only adding it not just because to follow original series but also for the AU/headcanon storyline conflict purposes
Below is the known situation when the story starts in Yuto's POV
Yuto - Inspector
Changyoon - Inspector
Hyojin - Enforcer former Inspector
Jaeyoung - Enforcer
Minkyun - Analyst
Seungjun & Minseok - dead
And again sorry if its messy (Cos mainly I just want this AU to exist and making it to a birthday gift for myself XD)
The whole structure is followed the anime, but I will fast paced-ify to focus on main storyline. Also I will tweak my words/wordings to a more simpler format so that I wont cause you all headache.
Part 2 lets go (and here is where the story starts to be different from the anime plot, but main structure is kept the same)
1-4
(What's written in the file)
The 1st file
Kim Minseok, deceased at age of 20, was a former analyst in CID
2 years from today, it is reported that Kim Minseok was being held hostage along with his friend. It is his off day and the mall he was at, was coincidentally assaulted by terrorist. It is clearly that the attack is meticulously planned.
The group of terrorist have split themselves into smaller groups and used the first attacked location as their base. The head of the group with a about 20 men stay at the mall while the rest the members head out towards the city and started violence.
The group of terrorist took many hostages and they hid themselves in the warehouse (the only building that is currently safe to hide), threatening authorities for money and even the releasing of some mastermind/potential criminals.
They even mentioned should authorities killed 1 of their own, they will kill 1 hostages. That is the reason why they took hostages with exact number of the members in the terrorist group.
The authorities noticed the detected raise of area stress level. Since military are involved, CID are teamed up other department to resolve the issue while politicians try to juggle with terrorists. The goal is to rescue all hostages.
But while waiting, the terrorist had fun torturing their hostages but still keeping alive, based on witness, they are torturing hostages to kill time. (This also resulted authorities had to put effort to operate Psycho Pass cleansing program. as aftermath.)
When rescuing hostages, as reported by former military staff, that the boss of the group killed a hostage who was believed to be a friend of Kim Minseok. The boss was handled immediately before he can do more damage with Lethal Eliminator wounding him badly. This was proved by Lee Seungjun, former and deceased Inspector from CID who was assigned to back up with hostage rescuing mission.
However, Sibyl system detected Kim Minseok's Crime Coefficient level kept rising and spiked up to a highest record in history, marked 812 . Sibyl system judged that there is no saving for Kim Minseok and is to be executed at once. With some difficulties, Kim Minseok was executed by quick decision made by former military staff.
The 2nd file
Kim Hyojin, current status : alive. Former Inspector and current Enforcer of Bureau stationed in CID.
His Crime Coefficient level has tendency to be unstable after the death of his brother Kim Minseok and his colleague, Lee Seungjun. However it was under control as it did not surpass 100.
Based on witness, and observation, Kim Hyojin believed that Lee Seungjun was murdered instead of suicide. It was believed that he over committed into his delusions due to denial while grieving the loss of his brother and his best friend.
And to the extent he assaulted a former military staff who was also assigned to the hostage rescue mission along with Lee Seungjun. And that moment his the record of Crime Coefficient raised to 224 as he was "clouded by anger"
He was later assessed and treated before demoted to Enforcer.
1-5
(loosely based on episode 6,7 and 8)
Even though vague and its just suspicions, Minkyun voices up about a similarity he noticed from previous cases the team has handled recently. What Minkyun noticed was, even though the MO are different in all cases, the criminal are using a similar tech when they are committing crime
Hyojin and Changyoon's experience understand and believe in Minkyun's intention and worry should there is a mastermind behind and there is a larger picture. The team are in dumbstruck that those two would suddenly agree with each other.
"We need to be alert, cannot afford to repeat the tragic event happened 2 years ago." Changyoon comments
"Should there is another huge crime event, the whole city and country's Psycho Pass will go crazy, what happened 2 years ago only child's play in comparison." Hyojin adds
Yuto could feel his back bone shivers when he heard Hyojin talks about it non chalantly. Does he?
And look at the timing, before they can dig deeper into the tech, it is reported that a girl school faculty had a murder case.
While handling the case, Yuto finds opportunity to apologies to Hyojin because he has read into Hyojin's and Minseok's file. That was when Yuto and Hyojin are at office being a support back up for the crime scene investigating members.
"Wait, Why do I have to get angry, Yuto-ya?" Hyojin replies Yuto with a question. And this was a bit unexpected because Yuto thought Hyojin would feel down or upset or even get angry at Changyoon for spilling his history without his consent.
"I guess should I am angry, that would be solely directed at myself..." Hyojin continues with a thoughtful expression. But there a hint of sadness to it. "I knew something was wrong when I observed Seungjun's dead scene and my instincts told me that it might related to my brother's death. Just because I could not make it into words, no one believed in me."
"Is that why you confronted with the ex - military staff?" Yuto pieced the puzzle together. And Hyojin confirms it with a yes.
Yuto can understand why the word "delusions" are used. But unlike others, he does not push away Hyojin's emotions and "delusions".
Yuto timidly asks, "Lee Seungjun.-sshi?..Changyoon-sshi says he is your best friend...Must be someone you treasures."
Hyojin nods and his facial expression becomes brighter. "He is, I known him for ages, we always got each other's back."
"What kind of person is he?"
"Sometimes annoying, but a warm and excellent friend. Knowing him is the best and proudest thing that could happen in my life. " Hyojin smiles as he reminiscing about Seungjun. "I guess Changyoon already told you that I led the team back then right?"
Yuto nods and quietly listens to Hyojin talks about the old days.
"But actually without Seungjun being the pillar support to the team, I don't think I can lead well. Even though outsiders sees the team only led by me. But..." Hyojin pauses for a bit. "It was also led by Seungjun too. Along with Minseok, I never expect both of them to die in those ways."
Initially Yuto wanted to ask more about the old days, but when Hyojin spoke the name of his brother, Yuto pursues his lips as a sign of hesitation. But to his surprise...
"Do you know that Minseok joined the Bureau in a very young age?" Hyojin raised his head and looks at Yuto with glittering eyes. "Wait, you are 99 liner right? That makes you the same age as Minseok!"
Yuto could not process for a bit, so he went along with the flow. With that, more details about Hyojin's brother came out. So Minseok was filed as prodigy during a young age and arranged to join Bureau as an exception. And due to his young age and no plans for him to head out for action, the Bureau only focused on Minseok's academics and training as Analyst. Minseok did some basic self defense but it is not sufficient to qualify as a fighter.
"Aah... Should Minseok and Seungjun are here right now, they will be happy to meet you. Minseok never really had same aged friends when he is in the Bureau..." Hyojin gazes at Yuto as he mutters.
And speaking of Minseok, Yuto then suddenly remembers something and asks Hyojin about the hostage they met on Yuto's first day. "Hyojin- hyung... by any chance, actually you were not trying to hurt the hostage we met on my first day but were trying to contain them by driving them to a dead end?"
"Took you damn long time to figure that out." Hyojin pouts. "To think innocent people getting involved and caught up to things that are way out of normal....Anyone, even Minseok must have been very terrified and stressed to the extent his hue clouded and contaminated."
"But is he truly beyond saving?" Hyojin raise a question with a cold stare that gives Yuto chills.
Yuto keeps his silence as he worried to speak one wrong word. He wanted to say something but the event was 2 years ago and in file writes Hyojin as delusional, and since Changyoon is awfully cold towards Hyojin... Yuto does not know if he should trust everything the person in red hair says because he is questioning the system or trust his own hunch that Hyojin might have some insight that everyone chooses to ignore.
"Come on, don't look so acted up! Sorry if I scared you." Hyojin pats on Yuto's back and changed the mood.
Yuto smiles back at Hyojin and carefully offers, "Hyung , on next off day, can you bring me to visit their graves? I would like to pay my respect towards them as a junior joining this team."
Hyojin lifts his hand and pats Yuto, he smiles even wider and nods at younger one, "Sure. I promise I will not cause any trouble. Our Little Rookie Inspector."
Yuto understands it Hyojin teasing him again, but he let it slide because the mood is finally cheerful now.
"Thank you Yuto." Hyojin suddenly drop that out of no where. "Ever since I became Enforcer, no one talk about them anymore. It is nice to hear their name coming out from 3rd person's mouth and no one is depressed upon hearing it."
Yuto nods as a reply, and that moment, Minkyun returns with the other team. Hyojin instantly puts his index finger close to his lips, indicating the whole conversation a while ago to be kept secret. And Minkyun caught that, playfully wailing that Hyojin is being unfair and he should not just share his secret to Yuto only.
So the case that they has to attend to this time was young girl students being murdered, dissected/dismembered and later ensemble to look like an art piece of dark and grotesque genre.
It was suspected that a former teacher is committing the crime due to revenge by abducting the students and displaying the achievement by making the corpse into "art form". However, it did not take long for a second case with the same MO to appear and there is still no sign of the former teacher to be found anywhere in the city. Before any new evidence to be found, the Bureau can only back up by help enhancing security at the all girls school.
While looking at the photo of exhibit of dismembered victim, Jaeyoung unconsciously mentioned about genre and art style and the keywords enlightened the team. Minkyun search the data base but none could be found. Leaving the option of dark web, but it is unwise for Bureau to deal with those even if its for case solving purpose..
Hyojin remembers a criminal locked might help and once he gotten Changyoon's approval, Yuto and Hyojin immediately head to the place, hoping the person in Hyojin's mind could lend a hand. Yuto is curious on why Hyojin is so confident that the said person might be helpful, Hyojin mentioned that he was the one who put the said person behind the bars for having high Crime Coefficient level while selling illegal inappropriate artworks banned by authority policy.
Thankfully, the artist in confinement noticed the genre and art style by browsing through MO photo data provided by Hyojin and Yuto. It gave a huge clue, the MO was inspired by a famous underground artist, whose works are banned on market but the sales thrives in the black market. Apparently the artist has black market art persona and the normal persona. Art maniacs knows about this so it is not really a secret unless you dig into to it enough.
The team let Minkyun to run the data base to see if there is any connection between artist and students, even teachers and staffs in the school and BINGO. Apparently the artist's daughter is attending the school.
Knowing its a very suggestive clue, the team rushes to the school to get their culprit. They succeeded on getting the criminal this time but the murder still succeed in doing her 1 last act getting caught by CID. (Here is different from anime)
While monitoring back ups helping to clear crime scene, Changyoon calls Hyojin to have a chat at the Enforcers wagon and let Yuto to monitor Jaeyoung.
Back in the wagon, Changyoon and Hyojin temporary forgot their conflicts and start to piece the puzzles together. Changyoon even though sometimes is a bit not flexible, but when he sees Hyojin acknowledging Minkyun, he knows that the Enforcer in front of him is still the ex superior he knows.
Changyoon scratches his head a bit and tells Hyojin that the current and previous virtual community case felt a bit off. And should Minkyun's hint are actually legit, how should they tie up all the puzzle together?
Hyojin while biting his knuckles he goes, "Even though the young criminal this time has a high IQ. but as a minor, it is hard to believe that they can prepare such intricate crime display."
"I agree. " Changyoon adds, "This is an all girl school with dorm and I don't think our young criminal can gain access to the tools even if she wants to."
Hyojin and Changyoon come to a conclusion, that there is definitely a mastermind or consultant helping out criminals to execute their crimes, but who?
All cases looking irrelevant against each other but with the frequencies of cases occurring here and there, it does not hurt to think whoever behind this definitely is aiming for a raise of area stress level in a national degree. If that so, they might not dealing with a mastermind, but a group of crime syndicate who is trying to initiate a psycho hazard.
Although they both do not have strong evidence to prove their point but should their speculations are true (because of their first hand experience come contact with all these cases), it is already scary. While terror attack can produce fear and violence in large scale straightforwardly, a raise of crime number/disturbing criminal events affecting citizen's mental security can have long term effect. It is also a way to make authority focus on cleansing and clearing the hue and got distracted from something even menacing.
After a few seconds of silence, Hyojin finally breaks the ice., "Do we have a list of mastermind criminals that the terrorist group requested the authority to release 2 years ago?"
Changyoon replies "Yes we have, but... the authority did not really released them for reals. Its just a fake act to buy time...."
Hyojin stares at Changyoon in a straight face as they had thought of the same possibility.
"Hyojin are you suggesting that the terror attack was just to cover up a secret swap?" Changyoon stood up in disbelief, eyes wide open. "Thats crazy! Do you know how many terrorist members are there on that day? That many manpower and gunpowder just to do a human swap? For what purpose?!"
"And if there is a secret swap, are you saying that there is a traitor in our government?" Changyoon exclaims.
Hyojin only lowers his gaze and mutters, "I don't know." and he continues
"And you still think I am crazy?" Hyojin raises a corner of his lips and look at Changyoon with a victorious smile.
"I know you are delusional but this is insane, Hyojin." Changyoon frowns while he mutters. "Why do you have to complicate things and push yourself so hard until your Psycho Pass get clouded so bad?"
"My brother and my best friend both died with unconvincing cause of death. There are numerous points that are quite fishy regarding to the terror attack 2 years ago, Changyoon." Hyojin stares at Changyoon with firm eyes and its overflowing with hope.
"Seungjun wasn't himself after the death of my brother, it was not only guilt and regret he was feeling, he never acted like that before. He knew something. He must have seen something." Seeing Changyoon standing in front of him in silence, Hyojin took the chance to continue.
"I was there, I was the first person to find Seungjun's death scene. And as an former Inspector, I can tell you that was not a suicide." Hyojin starts to get excited as he voices out his points. "Who would choose to burn themselves and set a fire to their apartment room while at it when they can have a quick death?"
Changyoon still looking at Hyojin as if he is looking at a clown.
"You are a smart guy Changyoon, you can definitely tell there is something off if you..."
"Shut up." Changyoon silences Hyojin as he knows Hyojin is trying to persuade him to share common interest, Changyoon groans in irritation and barges out from the wagon, leaving Hyojin startled.
Jaeyoung who come across to this, asks if Hyojin did anything to piss Changyoon off in a concerned tone, Hyojin only denies him by laughing it off.
And Changyoon, who dashes into his car, punches the steering with his might before covering his face with his hands.
"What am I to you then?" he whispers into the silence. "Am I not your friend as well?"
To be continued on part 3

Psycho Pass 3: 1st Inspector Review
Spoilers!
It's great to see that Akane gets to get out of jail (although I don't know much about her since I haven't seen the 1st 2 seasons of Psycho Pass...)
I liked how it gave a conclusion that the 3rd season was kinda missing while setting up potential for more stuff.
The end part tho :)

Psycho Pass 3 - Thoughts #2
So here's my thought for ep 03.
We get some clues about Todoroki and Irie's past.
I love the interaction between Irie and Arata. They're getting friendly since ep 2. Also, Kei and Todoroki getting close to since they're always paired up together.
Arata lost consciousness while tracing the idol girl. Kei said it's the side effect of tracing.
Kisaragi and Hinakawa stayed in the office, I wanna see them doing works outside.
Mika always lightens my mood in this season. I'm so proud of her. She's funny, always giving a sarcastic remarks but still taking their junior seriously.
I still don't understand with Bifrost and their plot. It seems Sybil used to know about their existence, but now they're trying to hide it.
The First Inspector from Bifrost, the one who recorded the plane crush in ep 01, has a pattern in his crime. He's proud of it, but man ... that'll be your weakness. Arata already realized that the culprit in 1st case only watching.
Arata is like Akane's pupil. The way he comments on exercising human judgment is so Akane's.
Hinakawa hinted about Arata and Kei might look on the past cases. And I think they both did it because they already suspected that this case is linked to the case they need to solve (about Kei's brother and Arata's dad case)
Enforcers learn about Kei and Arata's profile. Todoroki said that Akane's going nut and killed someone (hitogoroshi moto kanshikan, he said--so yeah, I assume that's the reason why she's being isolated).
Arata got a recommendation from Akane, while Kei's from Mika.
Kei lost temper and being suspended.
I like the interaction between Kei, Mai, and Arata. I want to see more Mai and please don't kill her. Pleaseeee.
Yayoi showed up at the end of ep 03 to replace Kei for the time being. She's now a freelance journalist and has a new hairstyle. I'm wondering why this time a latent criminal has more job option rather than before. And if Yayoi is a journalist, these old casts might do something behind Sybil.  As a journalist, Yayoi can control the public opinion also being an informant for Akane. Also, there's Foreign Affairs's Gang.
The only thing I hate in this season is that some people hating immigrants. Man, it's freaking 2120. I can understand if it's an illegal immigrant, but if it's legal, they should used to it. This topic also brought into the governor's selection.
I know the reason why they're hating immigrants, tho.

“Here For 12 Years, Will Be Deported,” Toronto Star. June 19, 1919. Page 22. --- Greek Will Not Remain After Serving His Present Sentence. --- The heat had made the footsteps lag, of Ernest Waller, youthful vag. He said he’d like to march in line, with soldiers, looking smart and fine.
A gent in martial clothes, in Court, looked at the beak, then gave a snort. ‘Such things, said he, ‘would not be meet.’ For Ernest, he has got flat feet. For Ernest, he has got flat feet. The magistrate said: ‘Dear me, if he a soldier fine must be.’ I think at least I see a way, he’d better go with the S.A.’ Then Ernie’s face beamed with content, as with the ‘army’ off he went.
Will Be Deported. Peter Psychos, a Greek, appeared before Magistrate Cohen for sentence.
Fletcher Kerr appeared and argued that a maximum fine of $20 would be willingly paid. The bench wanted to hear from the police, however, before delivering sentence.
Inspector McKinney appeared, and stated that an order for deportation had been made.
Counsel protested strongly. ‘He is a subject of a foreign power, and it is a serious matter,’ said he. ‘Accused has been in this country 12 years. It is unfair to deport a man because of a common assault.’
‘I have nothing to do with that,’ said the court. He will be fined $10 and costs or 30 days for the assault.’
‘And held for deportation,’ added Inspector McKinney.
‘The immigration authorities should come here and explain why he is to be deported,’ snapped counsel in conclusion.
M.S.A. Case Adjourned. Harvey Baker produced a certificate showing that he was not of military age in answer to a charge of failing to report for military service or claim exemption. Alleging that before the war accused passed under the name of Becker the Dominion police asked for a remand until the 26th to make further inquiries.
On a charge of bigamy, Percy Doan was remanded til to-morrow. He is wanted in Hamilton.
Case Is Dismissed. William Satler faced a charge of keeping a common gaming house at 90 York street. He pleaded not guilty.
Alec Gray, former clerk at the Walker House, now serving sentence for theft, gave evidence of playing poker at the address of accused.
It was the biggest game in town, easily $20 an hour. There was a rake off. He gave the names of men who had taken a rake off. He had borrowed money from accused to pay his losses.
Cross-examined by Mr. O’Connor: ‘This man was good enough to lend you money?’
‘Good enough to lend him money so that he could lose more,’ snapped the Crown.
‘While some of the things were going on that you speak of was not accused overseas with the 180th Battalion?’
‘Yes.’
He denied that he knew the premises as a battalion headquarters. He admitted taking whiskey to the premises.
One witness gave evidence of playing poker with accused, but swore he did not know there was a rake off.
Accused swore that he kept no gambling house and denied he participated in any rake off. Case dismissed.
No Charge is Laid. Crown Attorney Corley stated that no charge had been or would be laid against John Lumbers, jr., who was taken into custody last night on a charge of criminal negligence in connection with injuries done to William Kershaw in an auto accident.
Had Red Flag. Naznu Solofsky made up the baker’s dozen of those charged with having banned literature, eleven of whom were convinced last week by Magistrate Kingsford and came up for sentence to-day.
J. G. O’Donoghue appeared for Solofsky.
Detective Maurer gave evidence of searching the home of accused at 26 Manning avenue, on June 4 and finding a large quantity of prohibited literature, also a huge crimson banner bearing the inscription, ‘Polish-Russian Democratic party.’
Accused admitted having the document. He explained how they came in his possession. Some came through the mails. ‘The May Day and the Revolution’ pamphlet was handed out to the public at the Arena on May 1st.
Here Nine Years. Accused said he was a Russian Pole and had lived in Toronto 9 years. He had worked 8 years in one place. He said some of the pamphlets could still be bought on the news stands. His Worship said there would be a conviction and following an argument by Mr. O’Donoghue, proceeded to pass sentence on the whole thirteen.
Mr. O’Donoghue stated that the Orders-in-Council were only intended to prevent interference with the efforts of Canada in the war. The war being over the raison d’etre had ceased to exist. He contended that none of accused had been guilty of any overt acts and in the case of Solofsky appealed for a suspended sentence.
Asks Exemplary Sentences. The Crown pointed out the strained relations which existed in Canada at the present time, and asked for exemplary sentences.
Magistrate Kingsford read a judgement in which he set out the orders-in-Council and quoted the history of the various accused. Some were more guilty than others. Chester Clarke and Herbert Hike were U.S. citizens and should appreciate better a free country. Thomas Bell was Scotch, which the court regretted. Magistrate Kingsford regarded Mark Rockyld and Anderio Volerio as being the most dangerous of the prisoners, and he sent them to the penitentiary for 3 years.
Will Seek Release. Following the magistrate’s judgement Mr. O’Donoghue stated to the press that he proposed to take necessary steps to obtain the release of accused. He alleged that six or seven of the prisoners who had been sentenced had never been arraigned for trial.
As the accused disappeared below they shouted three cheers for the Bolsheviki.
[See their mugshots and read more the Bolshevik trial here.]

Monster x Psycho Pass AU
Link: Here bb
Characters: Heinrich Lunge, Wolfgang Grimmer, Jan Suk, Kenzo Tenma, Rudi Gillen, mentions of Filip Zeman
Ships: N/A (.............yet)
Summary:  After the death of Filip Zeman, Chief Inspector of the Public Safety Bureau's 1st Branch, Inspector Lunge is transferred to take charge - both of the 1st branch itself and the Enforcers assigned to the team. He quickly comes to realize that Grimmer, one of his senior Enforcers, has a connection to a yet unsolved case - one that delves deep into his past. As the investigation unfolds, that past comes to light - and it becomes apparent that Grimmer’s own agenda may conflict with his loyalty to the PSB. Lunge will have to make a decision; remove the Enforcer and limit his already meager resources, or allow him to continue, and risk being dragged down a dangerous path.
Warnings: None for this chapter but there will be a lot since it’s psycho pass and crime drama and kinderheim badness
Notes: I was struck with a bit of inspiration for this one so here, have the prologue ‘setup’ chapter! The summary is very dramatic but this is just Lunge saying hi to the new team tbh. Eventually it’s gonna be Grunge with a healthy siding of Tenma/Gillen

Psycho-Pass season 1
Spoilers!!!
Okay. I finally slightly understand the Sibyl System but at the same time, I am super confused.
I want to go and kill Kasei right now by the way. I am still super upset that Kagari died and almost noone found out what happened to him.
The whole 1st unit is pretty much falling apart...
I'm guessing Akane doesn't get locked up until the second season? Also Mika... I was surprised that she showed up in that one arc. And interesting to see how she became a newbie Inspector but by season 3 she's like, kinda in charge and stuff.
Yayoi... is she like, dating Shion or something???
Ginoza!!!! (He's still my favorite character...) I feel so bad for him. Like, he had all this stress building up from his job, having to work with his dad and Kougami, dealing with Akane... Also now I finally know why he has the prosthetic arm... do we know why his dad had a prosthetic arm? Or did I miss something? (I'm known for skimming stuff...) And why Masaoka and Ginoza go by different last names when they are related???
But the moment when Masaoka tossed the bomb, I was sure he was going to make it. Like, usually in other anime I've watched, the danger is of once it gets tossed... And the look of horror on Ginoza's face when Masaoka stopped trying to subdue Makishima...
On that note, is it bad I kinda sympathize with Makishima? I know he's the villain and all but...
Overall, I liked it a lot. I think I might have to wait on watching season 2 but I might be able to squeeze in watching another movie? I'm hoping to finish watching everything by the end of May...

Psycho Pass 3 - Thoughts #1
Shoot! I wrote my draft on Tumblr and accidentally clicked backspaces and everything is gone.
Anyway, I decided to write my thought for every episode. So far, I enjoyed watching PP 3 and unconsciously reading too deep.
For ep 2, Mcs finally cleared their 1st mission. They’re quite stubborn and reckless. I pity Mika because she has those two as her subordinate. I also like the new enforcer—Todoroki and Irie. From the 1st and 2nd season, most of the enforcers are obedient to the inspector, so those two bring fresh air to the show. Sometimes I think they’re annoying but when I think about it again, their actions are rational. They’re latent criminals after all.
In this episode, we saw our old cast who’s now working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a special investigator. They’re Kogami, Ginoza, and Sugo. They work under Frederica and help Public Safety Bureau to catch the culprit who’s on plane. Because Public Safety Bureau can only work on local cases. That’s why Mika said to Kei and Arata to stop—but they both still pursue and met Kogami and Ginoza. It’s really good to see Kei confront Ginoza while Arata tried to read the circumstance—and Kogami gives Arata a hint about the fox and surprisingly Arata’s father has that name card too. And it’s the same card which is Kisaragi picked in ep 1.
That aside, I still don’t know how far they can do in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They’re having special treatment, like their crime coefficients being hidden. There must be a reason why Ginoza choose the Ministry of Foreign Affairs instead stays in Public Safety. And this is related to Akane’s goal.
Frederica tried to talk about Akane to Mika, but Mika chose not to talk about it. Event she’s like that, it’s contradicted what she says to Ginoza (she asked him if Ginoza has seen Akane or not) and she still in touch with Ginoza in 1st ep too. This makes me think that they’re having the same goal and hiding something.
About Akane … my question is answered in ep 2. In ep 1, Hinakawa didn’t talk too much about Akane. But from the 2nd season, I know that he’s close with Akane. So the truth is Hinakawa sends reports to Akane. I don’t know if they did it secretly or Sybil system watching them, but I bet Hinakawa has told Akane about Kisaragi’s fishy behavior—because, in ep 1, Hinakawa glanced at Kisaragi. We still don’t know what exactly happened with Akane, but she really is imprisoned and might be dead anytime—punished by Sybil System. But inside the luxurious cell, she’s freer than before. It’s like she’s playing chess with Sybil System and our new villains.
But again, I wonder what happened before. I bet it’s not because of her hue clouded. As far as I can guess is that she’s fed up with Sybil System and no longer cooperate with Sybil like before.
In the 2nd half on ep 2, Kei and Arata has a new case. My brain exploded because Macro Economic theory in the 1st half, and later they’re gonna explore more about politics because in this new case is related to politicians. The idol girl is really cute and scary. Actually, I don’t remember about this whole mentalist thing. They never talk about it in the previous season, right?
And we got to see Arata’s tracing skill in depth. His crime coefficient is increased while he does that and Kei watched him and stopped him if it’s near the limit. The trigger is rain and I wanna know more about it. Anyway, they both are chill with Irie watched Arata crime coefficient or listen to the recorder—but I wonder if that’s a raining sound or not.
Also, I still can’t grasp what’s they’re aiming for aside being bunch of capitalists who wanna messing up with Sybil system and become more in charge. But this new villain is way better from 2nd season who seems to become Makishima wanna be.
Every season in Psycho-Pass has different impressions for me. In the 1st season, it’s more philosophic because Maksihima has a unique ideology and a perfect villain for me. In 2nd season, I think they tried to make a villain like Makishima who can conquer Sybil System by having an abnormal crime coefficient but sadly, that doesn’t work well. 2nd season is not that bad but … ugh … they can do better rather than killing bunch of people—tho there’re some scenes that I love like Akane’s grandma or Hinakawa’s scene, but I really hate that mama boy/Akane’s stalker (Tohgane). And in this season, I think we gonna see how those important people in society to stay in power against Sybil System.
That’s for ep 1 and 2. I wonder where’s Yayoi. Also, I have an urge to watch 2nd season but I hate Tohgane. Ugh, what to do?!
ETA: I rewatched psycho pass season 2 and got some clues about whats going on with Akane now. If you don’t like PP 2 because It has mass murder scene, just watch the two last episode and you’ll get the answer to what judgment Mika and Frederica talks about.
But if you’re lazy ... I’m gonna tell you.
So, the main villain in PP 2, Kirito Kamui, is trying to judge the Sybil System using dominator. Akane realizes his motive, so she gave him a chance to meet face to face with Sybil System rather than letting him killed people in the subway. THE REAL SYBIL SYSTEM!!! If you already watch season 1, you know where it is. And the truth is ... some of the brains are corrupted and Sybil destroyed all of them, because they think it’s okay to accept Kamui’s suggestion to improve the system. But, Kamui ma best cutie artificial boi predicted that in the future there’ll be more corrupted brain inside Sybil instead with good hue. From this occurrence, Sybil offered Akane to be one of them, but Akane decline. She chose to watch Sybil from outside (not inside as in being the Sybil itself), and if what Kamui’s prediction come true, she too will accept the judgement.
Maybe I'm getting balls deep, but PP series loves to teases the audience with foreshadowing just like how they start PP 1.
