You’re right. You’re SO right. I let the coreopsis concept blind me to the truth. Gaillardia pulchella appears to be the only one in this state, and while some example images are fairly different, it matches well enough, so that must be it. Thank you!

I went to the beach! So I have lots of pictures of coastal plants to work through.

These continue to confound me, as I think they did last year. Clearly coreopsis - right, though? Coreopsis pubescens seems like my best candidate, given the fuzziness, but wild specimens I can google seem to be entirely yellow. Bicolor or red varieties seem to be all cultivated hybrids. I’d believe a cultivated type or two could escape into the ‘wild’, but these are the standard! Nearly all of them are this color, in disparate locations. So either a cultivated type naturalized REALLY successfully (only to be ignored & mowed down as ‘just’ a wildflower) or C. pubescens has more natural color variety than my sources indicate, or it’s another similar species.

@psychicburrito my best case scenario isnt my personal best case scenario its my if terry miles is a competent writer and can figure out how to write a good ending when hes left the last episode to be all the drama and if the ep is 45 mins long then he wont have time to have an epic battle or even that much deep dialogue scenario

my best case scenario is a rough idea of how to end the show nicely without rushing everything and not give us what was a pleasant train ride until the last segment which then suddenly picked up speed 100mph more than it was before and have us crash into a wall immediately afterwards

i want everyone to live and be happy and all that jazz but (by the recommended advice from mbmbam) i am settling.

@psychicburrito If you click on Trasl's name on the sorting board it will take you to his main moodboard, there's info on who he is/where he's from etc. there. :) Thank you for asking by the way omg :DDDD Trasl is made for Slytherin; cunning, ambitious, resourceful, he knows what he wants and he acts on getting it through his own ideas and work. But he's also very intelligent and creative, both with musical instruments and his way of thinking. He would jump at the chance to come and live in the human realm and study one of our most powerful resources - magic - since he lives in Hell, where the demons for the most part aren't the most intelligent bunch. Also it gives him 6 years of schooling away from his father, who he despises. But he would do his research before going to Hogwarts, and make the correct assumption that he would be sorted into Slytherin. And although being around like-minded people may sound like the best option at first, Trasl thrives on confrontation through intellectual debate, and finds excitement in other people sharing the same hobbies as him, which he would find more easily among Ravenclaw students. Trasl's also very vain and narcissistic, and under the assumption that so are many other Slytherin's, he would probably find it hard to gain himself followers or admirers around Slytherins. He believes he's the cream of the crop - he is a Prince of Hell after all - and would fully expect to be treated as such; the sort of attention any intelligent Slytherin wouldn't bother to give him because they're too busy believing the same thing about themselves. And although in Ravenclaw he would come off as extremely arrogant and pompous, and maybe hated for it, he has the natural talent to back it up, and would hold more of a presence around Ravenclaw's. He would find a lot more intellectual stimulation among Ravenclaw's as well. So taking all of that into consideration, Trasl would definitely ask - or no doubt threaten - the sorting hat into putting him in Ravenclaw. Plus his skin is blue, so he matches the house~

some background info: so these are all (probably all?? theres a lot haha) the released documents related the stargate project, which was basically an investigation into the potential of psychic abilities & whether they could be used in military operations, despite that a lot the documents are rly boring/incomprehensible you kinda gotta skim through the titles to find anything good
