Today, #PSNK’s Police and Public Safety department held its first-ever “Cram the Cruiser” toy and supply drive on campus today! It certainly is the giving season at #PSNK! Malinda, barista extraordinaire at The Junction and beloved member of the PSNK family, is organizing a card writing campaign for local nursing home citizens, and you can help! It’s easy: go to The Junction, fill out a card with the individual’s name (a list is provided), and put the card in the stocking next to the display! The goal is for all the residents to get a card, so this is the perfect way to spread some cheer during the last weeks of class for the semester! #PennState #PSNKcares #PSUfamily #WeAre (at Penn State New Kensington)

Chancellor Snider and #PSNK staff all enjoyed lunch together at the new KNEAD Community Cafe in downtown New Kensington today. KNEAD is the first and only "pay what you can" restaurant in the Alle-Kiski Valley where the mission is to provide healthy and wholesome food to all patrons who are treated with dignity and respect regardless of their ability to pay. Everyone enjoyed their lunch, the friendly volunteer staff, and spending time with each other. The cafe is just down the street from the future site of our campus' new Entrepreneurial Center and part of the city's revitalization efforts. #PSNKcares #PennState #NewKensington

To say our #PSNK Alternative Spring Breakers have been busy these past few days in Puerto Rico is an understatement! They've been hard at work planting 2300 seeds, 142 mangrove trees and transplanting around 1000 plantlets in a region that has been deforested.
