hi, i'm liv and this is my blog! i try my best to make this a safe and positive space for everybody, so please, before entering, here's some things you should know:

i try to answer as many requests as possible, but it does take some time to get everything done, so don't rush me, please!

i do not make headers and lockscreens, only icons.

do not repost my icons in other social medias without my permission or credit.

i only make icons of people from the 40s until the 90s, so if you request something from the 2000s (and afterwards) i will not do it.

Would you be willing to share your coloring? It’s okay if you don’t! I just wanted to ask.

hey!! the psd i use frequently is actually a mixture of two separate psds that i found on tumblr. unfortunately, the owner of one of the psds deleted her blog and while i was able to like it (to give credit) i would feel uncomfortable sharing it when you guys cannot do the same. 

however, here is a psd that i use frequently by @wasirauhlpsds, though i often adjust curves and other settings!! sorry i couldn’t be of much help but i hope you understand my reasoning

............... or Also known as “Perfect Velvet” in honor of red velvet’s comeback,, but i’m dramatic nd decided to go w that name instead Because this right here is the public & cpsd version of the old header i had ( u can check it out here ) tht had my Old url, n we don’t know her anymore ! ──── this can be used as,, ,, , Whatever ? i’m sure ur all more creative than i am so u’ll b 100% able to find it an use ! it’s Rly easy to navigate thru the psd since it’s p organized. i Also made it as customizable as possible when it comes to colors n the likes with hue/saturation layers for the background nd other elements included here nd there so it can fit the color scheme u hav going on, but we’ll talk about it below !

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW !

─── the dimensions are 1000 x 550 !

─── the psds used are ( cbx by @twikpopsd​ ) and ( 여자들 by @wasirauhlpsds​ ), they’re included in the psd but since you’re going 2 use them, go give them a like or a reblog :^)

─── fonts used are ( hallelujah ) and ( lemon/milk ), not included but i’m linking u to them in case u don’t have them !

─── the polaroids r easy to edit since i added layers for you to use clipping mask with your chosen pics

─── here comes the fun part ! this psd has a Lot of extras, starting with the left side i chose Two guns which u can see on the previews, one is a toy gun of a rly Common model ? nd the other one is a revolver, both w their respective hue/saturation layers. on the right side, since it looked a Bit empty to my liking i made a group with a couple of pngs ( i dn’t hav links to the creators since i’ve had them w me 4 lots of years now, credits to them ! ) i thought fit with the graphic, u can choose one of those Or add ur own Or no png at all ? it’s up to you tbh, they also have their individual hue/sat layers. and Lastly, the main text ( so.... the one tht has my url ! ) can be rotated to go along w the box or not, it may not b too noticeable but the first preview has the rotated text & the second the normal one. i May forget smth so if u see i didn’t mention an extra do tell me ! the renders of seulgi were, of Course, made by me

─── i’m saying it here again but the colors are easy to change since i threw a Million hue/saturation layers everywhere 2 save u the work of doing it urself ── n if u didn’t know tht was possible ? now u do ! the more u know !

Wall and counter options included are marble and concrete for the counter and five tiled options for the walls. 

PNG accessories were all cut out by me, so please do NOT use these in other graphics. They include product bottles, plants, candles, a perfume bottle, sunglasses, and an iPhone, but feel free to use your own PNGs that reflect your own character.

Symbols (little accents under character first name) can be changed using a solid color layer.

Coloring PSD used for the preview was created by @wasirauhlpsds and can be found here (not included in download, please note that PSD was edited for the preview).

Customization should be relatively painless, just make sure you know how to edit hue/saturation layers to edit colors, layer masks, and solid color layers. If you run into any problems, let me know and I’ll do my best to help you out!

NOTE: This is not recommended for large group rps, rather personal edits for your characters or for characters in a small group rps, otherwise customizing the edit for each character may become too time consuming.

hiii. I'm interested in making edits on my own but I don't know how to or what to use is there any tutorials you have or could link me to you've gotten help from?! I love your edits they're so breathtaking.

im sorry this took such a long time to answer, my inbox have been crazy these past few days! but i tried to put extra love in this with some links and tips to make up for the wait ♥ and thank you so much!!

so first thing first. you need some type of editing program, most commonly used on tumblr is photoshop (it’s what i use) but there’s a lot of different options as well, like pixlr and gimp! 

start of small or have a clear idea on what you wanna do, like posters or moodboards. it might sound boring but it’s an easy way to start learning the tools of the program you’re using and finding your own style!

find something that inspires you. maybe it’s a favorite book, character or movie. pick it and decide to make an edit for it!

pick fonts, psd’s and images with great detail and care. this is actually what makes your edit stand out. if your coloring is great, the image perfect and the font smashing it’s bound to be a hit. 

i find all my images on pinterest. if say, i decide to make a blue sargent edit i just type her name on the search bar and check out the boards with pictures and pick from them. weheartit is also a popular site!

@wasirauhlpsds, @yeahps & @itsphotoshop are some of my favorite resources blogs. here you can find more tutorials, templates, fonts and psd’s!

@mentorpsd is also a great blog to draw inspiration from and find helpful edits and resources.

once you have everything you need it’s time to start editing and this is the fun part! coloring and font placement are key. if you’re unsure of what to write, sometimes it can be enough with a name/title or quote. 

if you’re having trouble finding inspiration, draw it from other content creators/edits on your dash. but don’t steal. if you’ve been heavily inspired by something or someone, always leave credit or ask the original creator if it’s ok to make something similar. 

although it’s great to draw inspiration on your dashboard being original is what will get you more noticed. but the most important thing is that you like what you’re doing. i love making edits which is why i spend so much time making them.

don’t let notes hinder/stop you from doing something that makes you happy. my first edits where absolute trash and had maybe 20+ notes but i’ve improved since then because i’ve kept at it!

what psd do u use its gorgeous omfg

 it’s  a  combination  of  a  very  vibrant  psd  by  wasirauhlpsds  and  the  first  psd  you  see  in  the  preview  for  this  pack  by  valorslain !   i’ve  made  a   few  other  adjustments  too  it  but  not  an  awful  lot.  all  credit  goes  to  them !

So I *finally* got photoshop and want to start making edits. do you have any suggestions on the best psds and the best/your favourite pinterests to use for images and maybe some advice on getting better?

hi!! i get all my psds from @brightpsd, @wasirauhlpsds, @yeahps

here’s my pinterest! though i mostly just pin from my dash, please (please please please) look through my following list!!! i follow a ton of great accounts with thousands of pins that i’m sure will be very helpful!!

as for advice to get better, truly the most i can say is practice!! also, use insp from other people (CREDIT IT). i find a ton a insp from other beautiful blogs on this site that are super helpful, especially when i’m having difficulty deciding on what to make/how to make it!! checking out tutorials made by other accounts (aka @yeahps or @chaoticresources) are extremely helpful as well!

but practice is the main one. for example, below i’ll link one of my older poster sets vs a newer set. it’s not even a year difference but you’ll see a change because i spent so much time learning my style, the images i liked, and the colorings i liked. 

older set versus newest set  (there is a big difference in the harshness of the colors & just overall how nice it is)!!
