but yes music is a huge part of my life and i have Opinions!! i kinda have a revolving door of artists/sounds i'm into and right now my most played are Tamino and Rina Sawayama (Hold the Girl album specifically), but my mainstays are Young the Giant (especially their first three albums), Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Hozier, and MIKA

side note tamino = kanej and hozier = kanthony and i have several (okay like 3) edits as evidence

honestly it's been so fun talking to you bc as you've said we're the same person!! i feel like as much as sometimes it's just comforting to get into something that i know is safe and good, it's also really cool to try and tackle things that are less comfortable! people are fucked up by nature and it's interesting to see how we navigate that and learn to live around it. also perfect characters do not drive conflict, and without conflict there can be no plot... so often the most fucked up characters are the most interesting!

about the gift, please don't worry about when you post or what kind of effects etc you're going to include aaaa i'm really not picky! typography is so hard and most things are so hard and life. is just hard. so i'm just happy to be on the receiving end of anything aaaaa

how have you been? has life been good to you so far this month? i've still got one last assignment (that i don't really have motivation for rip) but i'm hanging in there! i guess my main plan is just to get it done so i can finally relax a little, and maybe get cracking writing christmas cards... what about you?

hi santa!! grrr tumblr is awful with the notifs unfortunately but also it's absolutely okay! and oh wow b/w & accent color sounds sexy as hell you're absolutely right! i've seen sets do that and i think that paired with like... accent colors like red? insane. i've got to look into how to do that! which accent color do you tend to go for the most?

ooooh i love these questions even though i hate that i have to choose T.T but hmmm... at the moment i might go for coming of age? maybe just because i'm getting older every day... i talk to people and they're like "i can't believe i'm turning 19 soon i'm old" and then i feel ancient whoops. but yeah i love me a good coming of age, and i also think folklore and magical realism is such a cool thing! i know you weren't asking about reading, and i haven't read anything in ages, but i really liked this mythology retelling anthology, a thousand beginnings and endings edited by ellen oh!

also for gif effects... i think i love me a glitch effect (like when sth glitches into something else) because that's so cool! especially what ace (nobodynocrime) did in their tutorial, that effect has been stuck in my head all this time aaaa... maybe just transitions as a whole? i like overlays and layouts too but i think atm i'm just a huuuuge fan of transitions. maybe also typography(?) because i suck at it and can't do design to save my life? let me know if you're more of a design nerd bc teach me sensei!

what about you? do you have a theme or message of sorts for the media you tend to gravitate towards? lately i think mine is like... fucked up girls who learn to make peace with their fuckedupness (mostly fleabag i can't lie ahaha) because that is a massive mood. also dw about the crypticness, it's all in good fun! i'm gonna try to make silly little guesses for what you'll make hehehe
