All the labour of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled. For what hath the wise more than the fool? what hath the poor, that knoweth to walk before the living? Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire: this is also vanity and vexation of spirit. That which hath been is named already, and it is known that it is man: neither may he contend with him that is mightier than he. Seeing there be many things that increase vanity, what is man the better? For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun? Psalm 14 :2-5 " The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord. There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous." Just reading some scripture tonight and I felt like this jumped out at me. God sees us doing no good but is still with us from generation to generation. Looking for those that seek him. #HolyBible #KJV #Psalm14 #illustation #Christianwak #BaneNascent https://www.instagram.com/p/B3tdBxeHwtN/?igshid=v315cu53jzf1

That man is a fool who says to himself, “There is no God!” Anyone who talks like that is warped and evil and cannot really be a good person at all. - Psalm 14:1 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm14:1&version=TLB

A Psalm a Day: Fourteen
Happy #Monday to you all. I pray it's a good day, no matter what comes at you. :-) #psalmaday #psalm14
The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”    They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds;    there is none who does good. The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man,    to see if there are any who understand,    who seek after God. They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt;    there is none who does good,    not even one. Have they no knowledge, all the…

Praying the Psalms, Psalm 14
Heavenly Father thank you for being a God in control, and for being perfect in all things and True. You are sovereign and can not be ignored. I confess my view of You has and can be distorted, leading me to make unwise decisions and practice behaviors that do not honor You. Forgive me. Holy Spirit keep me from thinking and acting foolish and continue to change my hearts desires so that I can live rightly, able to glorify You in all I do. Today I give thanks for the salvation and path You have set me on and I pray that I avoid the way of the foolish. Yet I pray for those who deny God and turn their hearts from Jesus. Holy Spirit give me a heart to pursue them with love and truth, in a tender and merciful way - just as you have done with us. May your gospel be evident in all I say and do. Amen.
