Czy na kwarantannie można pracować?

To pytanie wciąż jest aktualne w dobie panującej pandemii. Z wątpliwościami w zakresie możliwości wykonywania pracy w czasie kwarantanny spotykają się również klienci naszego biura księgowego PRWT.

Często zdarza się, że dla wypełniania obowiązków pracowniczych nie jest konieczna obecność pracownika w miejscu pracy. Wielu pracowników może świadczyć pracę za pomocą urządzeń umożliwiających porozumiewanie na odległość czyli w formie zdalnej.

Możliwość pracy zdalnej w czasie kwarantanny reguluje art. 4h ustawy z dnia 2 marca 2020 r. o szczególnych rozwiązaniach związanych z zapobieganiem, przeciwdziałaniem i zwalczaniem COVID-19, innych chorób zakaźnych oraz wywołanych nimi sytuacji kryzysowych.

A co z wynagrodzeniem za czas pracy na kwarantannie?        

Zgodnie z powołanym przepisem, jeśli pracownik pracuje za zgodą pracodawcy zdalnie podczas kwarantanny to zachowuje prawo do normalnego przysługującego jej wynagrodzenia za pracę, a nie wynagrodzenia chorobowego (80 %).
