okay so I thought more about it. I thought the entire event was alright except for this specific part:

relationships are supposed to be free of self doubt and an should feel safe enough to be able to trust kohane that even if she stumbles back sometimes kohane will wait for her and That's Not a Bad Thing. it happens. the fight itself was fine if she reached the conclusion of that she doesn't need to be better than kohane to feel that she's good enough, and she's doing that by facing kohane's rapid growth head on in a fight

but instead it's like.. she basically put more weight on her shoulders to feel worthy of being kohane's partner. which is an Insane thing to do with your friend. she's worthy of being her partner even without winning a fight because she's still fighting, she'll never give up. that's what makes her worthy of being kohane's partner.

she didn't actually get over her abandonment issues here, it's still there. she's just coping with it by making herself feel a temporary sense of control over her relationship (again) without actually facing the problem that this is not necessary for kohane to love her or need her. what's necessary is that she's trying, for kohane and because she loves singing as a whole.

like this is Insane okay this is an insane thing to say after such a climatic fight. what happened to being equals. she's already kohane's best partner without having to fight or win against her because she's simply an. I don't know anymore

the way an's abandonment issues was always built on her wanting to be the cool independent girl that everyone can rely on that is incredibly good at singing the same way her father is ever since vot and the build up we had since bfby was used as a powerscaling skill issue bothers me so so much

instead of kohane saying "I will never think of you as worse than me in any way and I want you for you not because you're good enough, your singing skill was never a factor I considered when I decided to partner up with you it is purely out of love for you and the passion you put in everything you love" it was whatever the fuck happened in wtwg

an I'm going to need to take away nagi from you for a sec. no she wasn't perfect she was flawed and so are you anchan. your friends love you. you're extremely lovable for who you are right now and you'll always be wanted whether you're good enough for them or not it doesn't matter anchan. you'll always be everything to them no matter what

vbs 2dmvs come in three genres:

RAD DOGS - suffered from being an early-game mv, didn't know what vbs mvs were supposed to be like. relies on animation and flashy transistions, but is better than just zooming in-and-out on the key artwork. (this one actually has two key artworks but whatever)

CRaZY - masterpiece. never feels boring, gets the point of the lyrics across in two languages at once, (the play of baiburu/bible always gets me) shows emotions fully, honestly one of the best mvs in the game. explores akito's relationship with every member of vbs fully, incl luka. i could talk for hours.

ULTRA C - arata gave the kids acid by accident and is currently scrambling to find ken before ken finds him

I'm tired of the Virtual Singers being the only ones who change from world to world. We barely know how Sekai actually work or how the kids magically teleport there. For all we know they could all be holograms upon entering the virtual world.

Let's get creative about it!

Imagine that upon entering Sekai the characters' bodies shift to fit in the world better, much like the virtual singers.

Imagine that, upon entering Wonderland Sekai, Tsukasa isn't only baffled by the presence of Hatsune Miku and talking plushies, but that he too has acquired some plushie-like stitches. Imagine that upon inviting Rui onto his stage, he actually begins to glow like a real star, no longer an illusion.

Imagine Mafuyu watching over the strings attached to her body like a marionette, only ever visible in this world, origin known a little too well. Soon enough Miku and other virtual singers join her, the Kagamines gingerly playing with the strings. She ignores them, the presence makes her ice grow warmer.

Imagine Kohane, mesmerized, looking upon the graffiti-like markings painted all over her, glowing vividly even through the darkest nights. Each song, each victory, creates a newer composition. All her teammates have similar ones, all resembling Vivid Street's own graffiti. After all, aren't they one and the same with the street that shaped them?

Imagine Minori vehemently retelling Miku how the little wings behind her back made her jump higher than usual during today's practice, how they grow bigger and bigger each time More More Jump reaches another person. Miku listens intently.

Imagine Ichika slowly guiding her friends' hands while they trace the blue constellations staining her back, scars of heartbreaks and whatnot, lessons learnt the hard way. They decide to show theirs too, all radiant colours of the night sky and ever-glowling stars. They hold each other close. They all know better now.

i havent talked about ena5 when i watched it cause i forgot but now i can

if i put aside the fact that they glossed over the properly coming out scene everything about it was great i dont see how its rushed, or maybe my expectations just werent high in the first place (because its a prsk story about abandonment issues i've seen it before) (lutf)

one thing that bugged me is the enakasa parallels that seem like nothing but fujobait and im going to demonstrate it through a venn diagram this is according to ena5 and wxs main story (as i believe mizuki hasnt had a moment like rui1 and mizuena in mizu2 is ruinene to me not ruikasa)
