Foundations of the World: Gathering
So, I’m finally writing the DF-KHR Crossover that I swore I would write. Gathering is the part that deals with Tsuna and company meeting up with the DF crew.
Soon after breaking the Arcobaleno Curse, Tsuna and his Guardians are on a class trip to Chicago just as the events of Peace Talks go down.
A few central conceits: the Inheritance Arc never happened since Earth Flames don’t fit into the fused cosmology of this fic, which means that the Vongola Tenth Generation are still wearing Rings, not Vongola Gear; Haru is acting as Lambo’s proxy both to avoid conflict with Marcone and to reduce suspension of disbelief regarding how a five year old got on a class trip; Kyoko is an Active Sky and very willing to choose violence. The latter two divergences are the result of the CEDEF 10th Generation excelling in their chosen field. (thank you, Oregano)
The lights went out.
His Guardians immediately sprang into motion, leaping up from where they had been whiling away the time to project shields of Flame overlapping like a three-sided pyramid—Hayato’s Storm, Takeshi’s Rain, and Haru’s Lightning, to disintegrate or stop or block any attack. Even niisan was more serious than usual, taking his place in the bodyguard formation that Reborn had drilled them in every day since Tsuna’s future assassination.
“Is this what we’re waiting for, Tsuna?” Takeshi asked, as casually as if they were just watching tv, if not for the hand resting on the hilt of his sword. Tsuna had been jittery and on edge all day, and it had only gotten worse after the sun had set, to the point that Reborn had outright told them to stay together in a single room with the curtains drawn, a few illusions from Chrome settling the chaperoning teachers’ objections before Tsuna could protest.
The sense of impending doom he had been feeling since the plane touched down in Chicago (scratch that, he’d had a bad feeling about everything since the teacher had announced that they were going on a class trip to America that had Vongola’s fingerprints all over it) had grown until his Intuition was screaming at him about imminent danger. And it was still screaming.
“No.” Tsuna shook his head, “It’s not over yet.”
“Boss…” Chrome said from beside him, ready to fake their deaths the moment an attack came, “It’s dark outside.”
It was. Tsuna looked out into the night.
Chicago was a big city, much bigger than Namimori, so big that it never slept. Tsuna hadn’t noticed the difference, but there weren’t any lights shining in through the uncovered windows of the bedrooms. There was no light at all, anywhere, save from the glow of his Guardians’ Flames.
Even ten years in the future, when the world was on the brink of collapse, there had been light.
“This is bigger than just us, isn’t it?”
“Are you saying or asking, Tsuna?” Reborn said up from behind him. Tsuna hadn’t noticed when Reborn had stopped pretending to sleep.
Tsuna drew a breath deep into his lungs. When he let it out again, his eyes were beginning to burn orange. “It is.”
“Then what are you going to do?”
“Hayato?” Tsuna asked, trusting that the genius had a better grasp of strategy than he did.
“Tenth?” Hayato turned his head towards him, then nodded. “Alright, Sasagawa, I need you check how far the outage extends, Chrome, hide us with a simple illusion, save your strength—and Kyouko, Jyuudaime, could you maybe check the phones? Sky Flames are about connection, so if there’s any chance that we can get communications up and running, it’ll be thanks to you.”
Tsuna nodded as Kyouko did, just as niisan made a noise of confusion. “Check how far the outage extends?”
Hayato made a face, stress making his temper even shorter than normal. “Go out, climb as high as you can with the stairs if the elevators aren’t running, and see if there’re lights anywhere, then come back! Be fast about it so we don’t end up assuming that you’ve been attacked.”
“Wait.” Kyouko interjected from where she had crouched down on the carpet and was trying to turn on a phone, “If Sky Flames boost connections, then Chrome, can you make communicators for us?”
Chrome frowned in concentration, but slowly nodded, “Yes, I think I can.”
“Good.” Kyouko abandoned the stubbornly black screen and stood up, “If you can manage it quickly, then niisan can wait for you to make him something so that he can keep in contact.”
“I’ll try.” Chrome turned to Tsuna, “Boss, can I see your earpiece?”
“En.” Tsuna unhooked Spanner’s earpiece and gave it to her, realizing that the mechanic’s technology, at least, wasn’t dead the way everything else was.
Chrome narrowed her eyes, the original in one hand and Mist condensing into a solid shape in the other. “Mukuro-sama…” She murmured under her breath, but he didn’t make an appearance.
Whatever help Mukuro was giving her, it wasn’t as major as possession.
“I need your Flames now.”
Kyouko offered Chrome her hand, warm orange fire flowing from her fingertips into Chrome’s palm, until the fuzzy edges of the Real Illusion turned sharp and substantial.
“This should work.” Chrome said, handing Tsuna his earpiece back and giving the new one to Ryohei, “But… um, I think you should test them first—just talk into one, you should receive the signal in the other.”
“Alright.” Tsuna cupped his hand over his mouth and whispered, “Niisan, can you hear me?”
“YES! I CAN EXTREMELY HEAR YOU, SAWADA!”
“Be quiet, Lawn-Head!” Hayato snapped in a furious hiss, attention darting frantically from the windows to the vents to the door and even to the walls, as if expecting a fully armed squad to burst out of the panelling, “And say something that Jyuudaime won’t be able to hear without his earpiece instead of shouting!”
“Can you hear me, Sawada?”
“Yes.” Tsuna answered.
“EX—treme!” Niisan remembered to be quiet halfway through his first word, “Don’t worry, I’ll be right back!”
Niisan pumped his fist in the air, all grimness forgotten, and dashed out the door.
“Alright—,” Tsuna jarringly realized that the Flame shields were still up, “—uh, Hayato, Takeshi, Haru-chan, could you drop the barriers now? I don’t think we’re going to be attacked right now, and you need to save your strength.”
“Are you sure, Tsuna-kun?” Haru kept her hands up, Lightning crackling from the ring she had taken from Lambo, “The movies always have the bad guys come in just when you think you’re safe.”
Which seemed to be the same conclusion Hayato had arrived at, even if he clearly disagreed with Haru’s reasoning.
The all-encompassing darkness, the equally omnidirectional dread, and, now that Tsuna was listening, there were sounds of human distress at the edge of his hearing. He swallowed, “Yes. Whatever’s happening, it’s bigger than just us, we don’t need to worry about being targets yet…right?”
He tried to look to Reborn for guidance, but the now preschool-aged hitman only crossed his arms and smirked at him, “You’re the Boss now, Tsunayoshi. A Boss has to judge the risks and make the decisions himself.”
Aren’t you supposed to still be tutoring me? Tsuna complained in his head, but nodded. “Alright. Then we’ll wait for niisan to come back, then we’ll head down and see if we can help our classmates.”

4G Proxy vs. Residential Proxy: Which Suits Your Needs?
In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, proxy servers have become indispensable tools for individuals and businesses alike. Whether you need enhanced online privacy, access to geo-restricted content, or want to protect yourself from cyber threats, proxies can help. Two popular options are 4G proxies and residential proxies. In this article, we will compare and contrast these two proxy types to help you determine which one suits your needs better.
What are 4G Proxies?
4G proxies are proxies that route your internet traffic through mobile devices connected to 4G networks. These proxies offer high speed, reliable connections, and are ideal for tasks that require dynamic IP addresses, such as web scraping, social media management, and sneaker purchasing.
Understanding Residential Proxies: Residential proxies, on the other hand, are IP addresses provided by internet service providers (ISPs) to homeowners. These proxies give you the ability to browse the internet anonymously, bypass geo-restrictions, and emulate genuine residential connections. They are well-suited for tasks requiring residential IP addresses, including ad verification and market research.
Pros and Cons of 4G Proxies:
Pros:
Fast and reliable connections.
Dynamic IP addresses.
Effective for high-demand tasks.
Ideal for social media management and automation.
Cons:
Higher cost compared to residential proxies.
Limited number of available IPs.
Can be more easily detected by anti-bot systems.
Pros and Cons of Residential Proxies:
Pros:
Authentic residential IP addresses.
Wider range of available IPs.
Less likely to be blocked by websites.
Suitable for tasks requiring diverse geographic locations
Cons:
Slower speeds compared to 4G proxies.
Potentially higher latency.
Less cost-effective for high-demand tasks.
Factors to Consider: To choose between 4G proxies and residential proxies, consider the following factors:
Specific use case requirements.
Budget and cost-effectiveness.
Desired connection speed and reliability.
IP diversity and availability.
FAQ:
Q1. Can 4G proxies be used for anonymous browsing?
A1. While 4G proxies can provide some level of anonymity, they are primarily designed for specialized tasks like web scraping and automation.
Q2. Are residential proxies suitable for high-demand tasks?
Residential proxies are generally better suited for tasks that require diverse IP addresses or need to emulate genuine residential connections rather than high-demand tasks.
Tips for Choosing the Right Proxy:
Identify your specific needs and goals.
Consider the budget and cost-effectiveness.
Evaluate the connection speed and reliability required for your tasks.
Assess the IP diversity and availability based on your use case.
Advices for Proxy Usage:
Test different providers before committing to one
Stay updated with the latest features and emerging technologies in the proxy industry.
Adhere to the terms of service and usage policies of your chosen proxy provider.
Keep in mind the ethical use of proxies and respect website policies.
'''Conclusion:'''
Both 4G proxies and residential proxies offer unique advantages and cater to different use cases. While 4G proxies excel in providing high-speed connections and dynamic IP addresses for specialized tasks, residential proxies offer authentic residential IPs and better compatibility with various websites. By considering your specific requirements and the pros and cons outlined in this article, you can make an informed decision on which proxy type suits your needs best.

Chromebook Tech Literacy Masterpost
I've seen a lot of posts about the systemic death of tech literacy in schools with the advent of ChromeOS, and instead of responding to them one by one, I want to create a masterpost to destroy the system. First: FUCK CIPA. The Children's Internet Protection Act is a United States FCC act that standardizes internet safety across the country. Public schools are not required to comply with this act, but they will lose discounts offered for the E-rate program. In short, if you don't want to put up web filters, then you don't get government grants for technology and Internet. Fuck that. Many of these workarounds bank on my personal experiences, so some solutions may not work with your web filters, but they definitely are a step in the right direction. For talking with friends: chat rooms are your friend. Many chat rooms for professional use act just like Discord, and many are just a single text channel. Several I've used include: Google Messages, Rumbletalk, Slack, Element, ClickUp, Pumble, and... in a pinch, Google Docs can give you a shared document that's practically impossible to block. For watching videos: some chat rooms, especially Rumbletalk, allow you to directly embed a YouTube video. This is rare, however, so we found some workarounds. Canva has a video search and embed function that allows you to play YouTube videos straight from the editing page of their slideshows. For anime, a website that I don't think is maintained as well but should still work is AnimeTribes. It is a .ru site but it is perfectly safe, as long as you don't click on ads. I've never seen it redirect you otherwise, and the owner used to be commonly found on the chat page. Another piracy site is 9Anime, which doesn't work on Chromebooks but is an infinitely better source in general. A non-anime video piracy site is Arc018, which is my favorite. It does redirect you decently commonly, but just take care to avoid those redirects and follow piracy suggestions that I will lay out further down. For adblocking: the easiest method is to use uBlock Origin. Though, with all the stuff that Google has been doing, I'm not entirely sure if it works anymore. I gave up on Chrome the second I could get away from it and I suggest you all do the same. For playing games: so. I'm a nerd. I play Pokemon games. SO if you do too you're in luck. The only thing I could come up with was to download GPemu, a ChromeOS based emulator. Unfortunately it's pretty bad, but apparently there's an alternative called EmulatorJS. I never used it myself, but if someone wants to try it and let me know how it goes, that would be appreciated. HOWEVER, none of these work without the games to play them with. I'm going to detail piracy safety later, but for now: Vimm's Lair recently got axed by Nintendo's DMCA, but some ROMs may still be available. Another source (which is admittedly undergoing some major changes) is The Internet Archive. I haven't done a lot of searching on the Archive, and I don't know if it works on Chromebooks, but try it and let me know :).
Circumventing the web filter: While those solutions work for specific things you can do online, these present a general solution, capable of multitasking and providing you much more extended freedom. The first is CroxyProxy, a completely free proxy service that can be added through the Chrome Web Store. If the Web Store is blocked, it can be accessed via the direct website or through specific IP addresses. These change frequently, and I’m absolutely positive the ones that I have access to are blocked or simply go nowhere useful. The other option, assuming you have a home computer connected to the Internet at all times, is Chrome Remote Desktop. It will work as long as both computers are signed in to one shared Google account and both are connected to the Internet.
But Ty... none of this works for me: Oh boy. I guess it's time for my trump card. The pinnacle of my Chromebook workaround career has culminated in this. The ultimate destruction of ChromeOS, all without jailbreaking the computer and getting in a LOT of trouble (don't do that please). My magnum opus came from my blossoming understanding of emulation and, specifically, Windows images. During my senior year, I successfully used a trusted and necessary source (unblockable) to emulate a Windows computer entirely through a single Chrome tab. This source… Microsoft Azure. This cloud computing service allows the creation of a remote desktop that will save data when offline. The biggest hurdle with Azure is that… it costs money. However, when I did it, I got 200 hours of emulation FREE, and I would highly recommend you find the same deal, if it still works. Things to note: you can make multiple accounts, but you will need to also have separate payment cards, as multiple accounts with the same card will flag and not be usable. The frame rate is decently shit, and there is no physical graphics card, so the vast majority of games will not run. I mostly used it for Discord. However, feel free to experiment and make it your own. Use this knowledge wisely, and run free, my friends. Fuck CIPA, and fuck ChromeOS!
Please feel free to reblog or comment with more suggestions, because I would love to add them!

im here from your post looking at the code of the comic website. have you ever thought of like website development/coding/something related as a job in the future? i don’t really know anything on that topic but you seem to know quite a bit!
welllllllllllllllllll
the main reason we know our way around website code/the inspect tool/websites so well is back in middle school well uh
we used to use amino a lot, specifically kirby amino. it was our first social media and we were somehow popular on there for some ungodly reason, and we were constantly talking with our friends on there instead of doing anything productive. we used to use the computer lab a lot during lunch/computer time to just post/talk on amino, which the school quickly blocked. we quickly recovered by downloading a free shitty vpn, which the school later blocked. we then just used a different free vpn, which continued for a while until our school blocked any and all vpns including chrome extensions. we then figured out the school's blocking feature only applied to google chrome, so we downloaded opera instead since it didn't require admin priveleges to download. the school then later blocked opera, so we started using a fun little now defunct feature in google translate where if you inputted a website link, it would proxy the website as a cached version you could look at. it was heavily broken because of that, and it kept popping up with the "hey log into amino to continue!" so we couldnt continue scrolling, so we used the inspect tool to completely remove it manually as well as kind of fix some of the formatting issues with it being cached. school couldn't figure a way around that without banning google translate which they obviously couldn't do. we then figured out that we just needed to carry opera on a flashdrive with us and we could just continue what we did previously
the school got so fucking fed up with our shit that they brought in the best IT person a school salary could buy to stop our little 12 year old ass. we then figured a way around all of their blocks and firewalls within about the duration of a computer class. our teachers then heavily started trying to push us towards an IT career
we'd continue with our bullshit during the period we lived with our dad in high school in texas, where he put major lock downs on all of our electronics. we got given an andorid phone instead of our old iphone, which we used against him by downloading the tor browser and talking with our discord friends, which meant we got our shit taken away until we moved back to our grandmas. we got sent back our old laptop, but it still had all of the network nanny shit on it that would let him control the entire laptop remotely and stop us from getting on discord.
we then realized we could go into the net nanny files, open them in notepad, and then ctrl+a then ctrl+d to remove all of the code, and despite our dad still trying to stop it, we ended up doing this until all of the functionalities of the program were dead and we could just uninstall it
so like, a lot of our computer expertise is BREAKING code. however we've made about 7-8 websites by ourselves with html/css on neocities however i cant show any of them because we have a tendency to gut the code each time :^{
i have thought about doing freelance website work/code editing before but i'd have no idea how to start considering we don't really know "professional" code building aka the shit companies want

Cyberpunk 2079: Chorus
Vega 'V' Hawse and Song So Mi
A rare moment of peace...
Whenever I see So Mi's chrome, I can't feel anything other than profound sorrow for her. The more Myers pushed her, the more of her was replaced by chrome. It wasn't just the Blackwall that was destroying her, it was Rosalind Myers, and by proxy, Solomon Reed.
When Vega told Reed to go fuck himself on the holo after he threatened to hunt her and So Mi down, it was a declaration that Vega was done with being used, and letting people use her friends. It was the Nomad in her coming back out and Johnny's influence reaching a crescendo.
If you betray her, So Mi feels the betrayal so strongly she completely loses herself to the Blackwall. The Blackwall uses her as well. Regardless of if you kill So Mi or hand her over to Reed, there's a good chance Myers will do some absolutely horrific stuff with her. Not even death will free her from Myers' grasp. Like a tool, Myers will use her until there's nothing left for her to give.
The only person who actually cared about her in any way other than as an asset was V/Vega. Sure, Vega had her selfish reasons, she wanted the cure as well, but she quickly realised, the second So Mi pulled it from the Cynosure container, that it was only good for one person. She would have to find her own cure, but maybe So Mi could be saved.
So Mi doesn't forget that. That's why she was tracking Vega the past two years, not because she's a stalker, obsessing over V, but rather hoping that Vega also found a happy ending. For a while, there was nothing after Arasaka Tower and V's desperate raid on Mikoshi, and So Mi felt guilt set in, then Vega's unique signature pops up in the net again, who years later. The only thing that drew So Mi back to NC was Vega.
They are united by common experience. Their lives have similar beats, and at the end, they both faced death. They're soulmates. Misty might suggest that they were meant to meet, and be together, that fate ordained it. So Mi just believes in happy coincidences.
While Johnny might insist that there's no such thing as happy endings in Night City, Johnny is often wrong. Maybe, just once, there will be a happy ending.

HOW TO GET AROUND YOUR SCHOOL’S FIREWALL
(please remember that i am posting this specifically for people who have no other way to access the internet and need to get on the internet for whatever reason. i do not encourage people goofing off in class and not being able to get a job in the future)
if you just need the information on the page, try the wayback machine
look up the website’s ip and visit the ip instead of the url
try a free vpn (it might steal information from you be careful), this could mean using an extension or downloading one.
if your school has extensions disabled, try making a new chrome profile if you’re on chrome, or if that doesn’t work, try downloading another browser such as firefox.
if your school has downloads disabled, try getting a usb with the browser already installed, either by using some device from home or asking a friend
hyperbeam.com if it’s not blocked, if it is blocked there is another way, dm me if you want to know it, too long for this post
try connecting to your or a friends hotspot if your school blocks websites through the wifi
try taking the url of a website and embedding it into something like a google site
proxy websites, though they get shut down or changed often
try downloading or using some kind of virtual machine
if all of that fails, you could hack the computer but that may get you in trouble
you are encouraged to add on to this!!
