Specifically if the doctor and river ever had a child

I love the idea that they name their kids after the Ponds, but it’s not noticeable at first glance

Marina/Marin: Of the sea/Sea

Clyde : apparently a Scottish river name (I thought it was funny)

Horatius/Horace: Timekeeper; Hour; Season (nickname: Rory :) )

Clement/Clementine: Mercy/Gentle

Or they could name their child “Melody” just… y’know (if their kid is a girl)

Maybe River just wants a ‘Melody’ to have a happy ending. Melody Pond is giving her name to Melody Song.

Also, apparently “Williams” mean resolute protectorr

Hmmm, he’d seen some odd things, but this... While it didn’t take the cake, it was definitely something unique.  

It was a little child, all on their own, but... Ah. The tail was a dead giveaway. Was this like that little dragon brat that made him buy ice cream, and then berated him for his awful eating habits? It wasn’t like he needed a balanced diet anyway... He didn’t need human food...
