So i did some googling and apparently now the city

rents out cat traps between april-october

fines people $100 each time their cat is a nuisance animal brought in to animal control

also rents out outdoor cat deterrent kits for people to test ways to keep cats out of their yard

I THINK all this is new? the bylaw is still infuriating in that it's legal to let a cat roam so long as it doesn't roam onto private property (make it make sense) but i do not give this cat permission to be on my property harassing dave and kep so i think it's grounds for the owners to be fined for having a nuisance animal.
