Hello there! I’m Promni, formerly known as GalacticSomewhat. You can call me Prom, Promni, or Galactic! I am a blogger that posts almost always Gacha content, either of fandom designs or my own OCS!

Finally finished my first proper Promnis fic! I’ve written little ficlets before, but hey, now you guys get a longfic, lol. This took a whole year to write, and I really poured my heart and soul into it … it’s been such a long and emotional journey. I hope you’ll enjoy!

he walked the bethsaida parable (promnis) →  Ao3 (Takes place two years post-canon) Through astonishing miracle and magic, Ignis is allowed to regain his eyesight just five times in total, seemingly for only an hour each time: a gift that he has to use wisely, especially given his unexpectedly deepening friendship with Prompto.

Prompto’s made his way over and is standing in front of him, looking him square in the eye, by the time his vision wholly clears and sharpens; something about the gentle awe in his expression warms the space behind Ignis’ ribs, and he’s unexpectedly overcome with an unusual, overwhelming need to touch, to bridge their gap in some way.

So he reaches out, skims feather-light fingertips down the back of Prompto’s palm, and says: ‘Nice to see you.’

Prompto laughs. Deep-chested, misty laughter that carries both mirth and unshed tears, a joy so genuine that it echoes all the way down in the marrow of Ignis’ bones.

Upcoming story you are most excited to write: I’m very much excited for the regency gladnis AU I’ve been planning, but there’s also a leftover idea from ignyx week that I’ve been eager to start but just haven’t had the chance (bastardized lore AU in which: nyx is a sort of fallen messenger for ifrit the gods, and he likes to hang out on the citadel rooftop with the gargoyles there. he blends in with his own wings and horns. ignis sneaks outside with little gifts for him and tries to pick his brain about the astrals, and nyx just laughs at him and tells him cosmogony got it all wrong) tagging? tagging other people?? guys imma be real I don’t even know who is still even using tumblr that I wouldn’t feel weird about tagging laksdflkjf this is what happens when you don’t talk to people ever

i had this genius idea to read the ffxv wiki, just so i would understand what’s going on. i think i actually understand less now. but i did start shipping prompto and ignis, so there’s that

Okay. Okay. First things first, I love you. For these messages, but also, you know, just in general. Still don’t know what I did to deserve you, but it’s much more likely that you fucked up in a previous life and are now stuck with me as a punishment, so thanks for that I guess. 

Now, let’s unpack this. “I think I actually understand less now” okay honestly, that’s fair. I’ve spent more than 200 hours playing this game, and while I know everything about these characters, I still don’t understand some of the lore and shit (plus, you don’t actually get very far with just the base game either... for the full thing, you also need the four DLCs, a movie, and a five episode anime. Oh, and a novel that is coming out soon/came out recently idk. It’s a mess). ANYWAY, congrats on your choice of characters. It’s pretty obvious that I love Ignis the most, but Prompto actually comes in second right after him so there’s that, you picked the good ones to ship together. 

It’s not actually that uncommon of a ship, either. Most people ship Prompto with Noctis (since you said you read the wiki I’ll just throw names at you and hope you know who I’m talking about) bc of the bff ship dynamics, and Ignis either with Gladio as the mom friend and the dad friend combo, or with Noctis because of the whole childhood friend/brother/would-die-for-you thing. BUT Ignis/Prompto is also a thing, and it is super fucking cute. I don’t actively ship it, but I read quite a few fanfics about them, and they’re at least a major brotp for me, so again, good choice. They also do have their moments, though not as frequently as the ships I named above which is a fucking shame. 

You’re still a bro, though, and I appreciate the effort (no, I really fucking do, you won’t believe how excited I got about these messages this morning). I also get that whump is not everyone’s cup of tea. I really just need an excuse to write as much comfort and as many hugs and shit as possible, but comfort without hurt is not really possible soooo... 

IN CONCLUSION, congrats on your new ship, you could’ve done way, way worse. Though I can’t help but wonder how the hell you went from reading the wiki to shipping Promnis, but well. I won’t judge.

40. Do you look up to any of your writer buddies?

Um… Do you mean everyone??? Legit, everyone of my writer buddies are simply amazing. I have the dumbest smile on my face whenever I read works from @jasperraven and the Four Horsemen. I get giddy whenever @itshaejinju tells me about her Morana ideas and tells me what naughty WIP things she has going on. I scream whenever @teruelfxonsuvar writes a new Ravus thing (AND TAGS ME IN IT LIKE THE NUTELLA FIC). I weep with joy because the writing god, @heyjealousyyy, makes me want to live up to them hashtag-’writing goals.’ There’s so many other writers I look up to that my neck is going to be stuck at this rate. I’m so glad that the community I’m in is full of such talent and kindness! It’s something I definitely admire in all of my friends.

49. Favorite fictional world?

Final Fantasy XV – is that really a question? Actually, it’s a good question, because as much as I love FFXV, you wanna know what one world I simply adore is? Dragon Age. Dragon Age’s world and lore is just so amazing, so detailed and creative that I fell in love with it the moment I started playing it at Dragon Age: Origins. The Dragon Age world is one that I simply adore~

If you meant what favorite world I had out of the ones I’ve created though? It would probably have to be the PHANTOM universes’ world that I used to write when I was in middle school and high school. It was a dystopian societal setting, but I adored about it was the strange modern vs fantastic approach the world ended up taking, with countries and regions each with their unique stories and lore and opinions on how ‘mutants’ came to be in the world. It was my favorite universe that I’ve written about, that’s for sure.

Hi there!!! Thank you so much, that means a lot to me. Gacha is very difficult to use sometimes, and I definitely haven’t mastered it, it’s a LOT to get used to, especially GL2. But again, thank you so much, that’s really kind of you <3 you’re amazing!!

WHEN DONT I HAVE OC LORE IS THE QUESTION… I really can’t say it all on a single post nor can I get my thoughts down at this time. The OCS regarding this page though are Promni and Galactic, they’re Omniversal Creators of their omniverse. Most lore I post revolves around them and other creators and the few OCS they interact with. I’m gonna explain every Creator now a little bit!

Firstly, for those who don’t know, a Creator is like a Sona of sorts, one that is made to represent you fully or partly, they often look a bit like you irl or once did. They often run the worlds you make behind the scenes. Despite being partly like you, they are also their own characters and don’t have to act exactly like you if you don’t want them to! I will also be explaining Demi-Creators, which are ocd made into Creators by the real Creators. Pretty sure I made up that term but the idea is often used. I am going to put Promni first AND last, she gets two sections of info as she is the MAIN oc I use on this blog. But I will also be explaining bits more of her lore in other people’s sections.

Promni is first now as it makes the most sense to me to put her first. She’s the first Creator out of everyone. She does not know how she became one. She’s an adult (I would say around 19-26, I have no set age for most of my Creators), but you would swear to the stars she acts like an old lady because she is cranky and tired. She’s had to put with people’s shit for way too long, as the omniversal has been around for over 600 trillion years.

Somewhat is next, I’m doing these in order of when they became Creators. Somewhat was created accidentally by Promni, due to Promni stuffing down her insecurities and everything that made her upset inside. Bottling things up caused her to create another version of herself, that she CANNOT fully get rid of. Somewhat is an awful person. Imagine in your head the most awful traits a person could have. Somewhat either has those or fully supports those traits. As time has gone on she has made Promni’s life freaking miserable, Promni is terrified of her and has only recently gotten rid of her. Her soul was wiped of power and sent to what I call the Nonexistent Void, which I will explain more about later. Somewhat is extremely abusive in almost every way possible. Btw Somewhat is around 27-33 years old.

Galactic was next, she was created accidentally by Promni as well, due to Somewhat wanting her to bottle every positive and happy trait Promni had because it was “unlikable and waste of time”. You cannot fully get rid of Galactic either, just like Somewhat. Both Somewhat and Galactic are extensions/version of Promni, and since Promni cannot fully be killed, neither can they. Galactic was created at first as a six year old, she’s the only Creator that has aged. She represents the inner child of Promni, she’s very sweet and silly. She is now 16 years old, she ages randomly, the more hardship she goes through and the more she matures, the more she ages. I feel so bad for Galactic, she is often ignored by everyone else because everyone is so focused on work and her efforts are either overlooked or everyone hates on them, in one way or another. For a ping turn was banned from the omniverse in most ways, each Creator having their own reasons to do so. I will post about this eventually!

We are moving on to Demi-Creators. First off is Alfred. Oh Alfred. I hate this man. I’ll explain his deeper lore later in time but he’s a demon who was the ruler of his universe before he had HIS ENTIRE MULTIVERSE turned into a black hole for power reasons and so he could reach to full omniverse and control it. Since he is an oc, there’s a version of him for every universe, but he was the worst one of all. The only one to complete the goal he has, which was to explore the depths of the omniverse. This is Somewhat’s best friend, naturally. He makes things worse for everyone and has a habit of stalking Promni which has made her very paranoid. He’s like 45 too. Very weird guy. He has an obsession over his universe’s version of a guy named Prometheus, who’s 20 years younger than him and is forced to work for him, even when he died and he was just fragments of a soul. Gross guy. He was obliterated to nothing but a consciousness because of @kart-ana ‘s OCS say thank you so him :3

Elpis is last. He is made up of every version of himself that was casted to the Nonexistent Void. The Nonexistent Void is a place where souls of immortal characters are sent if someone doesn’t want them to come back to life. So Demi-Creator Elpis is a fusion of all of the versions of him that are dead Whihc is lost of them lol. He is enemies with Alfred, every version of him hates Alfred. He also cannot stand Galactic, finds her too annoying and too silly. He is friends with Promni as has helped her plan to kill Alfred and Somewhat. But he’s not a good guy. He enables Promni’s worst traits and worst habits, believing that is what’s best for her because that’s when she focuses on work and her own omniverse the most( rather than her own mental and physical health. He uses his power to alter her emotions and stress levels so that she acts more professional (something Promni has asked for, but it’s bad for her. She asked him to stop doing this. Ask yourself if you think he did so), even using his own powers to make some sort of drink she takes because it was easier for her to take. He will do anything for his work, to be able to control what he can. He also never shuts the fuck up he’s a yapper in a bad way. He believes that they don’t need anyone to help them and that him and Promni are better off alone and with no help. When that isn’t the best thing at all. He’s too stubborn to change his ways. Deep down he’s really desperate to do what he can to make sure all versions of Alfred are eradicated. There’s so much more I wanna say about Elpis but I can’t spoil too much for @kart-ana and @mynameis---m …

Back to Promni. You can see she’s had a lot to deal with. She killed Somewhat by herself, don’t think Elpis helped her with that part. And she coordinated Alfred dying, Elpis didn’t help with the final preparations he just fucking hid like the coward he is. Anyways back to Promni sorry. She has to do 95 percent of the work at least, and overall has trouble communicating her wants and needs because she believes she’s burdening people with this information. She has nearly no friends because Somewhat would control mostly where she goes and who she talks to, and anyone that does know her outside of Galactic and Elpis don’t know that much about her situation. About the situation? Yeah. About how BAD it was? No. She is stuck in a cycle of not changing and pushing herself to her limits unless someone drags her out of her one way or another, because she can’t trust anyone else to do her job (other than Elpis… she shouldn’t trust him :(.) and believes only she can do this right. As you can see she has a big ego. She admits her faults over and over but doesn’t know how to stop this toxic cycles. On a lighter note, she is married to the creator of @mynameis---m has and they’re so cute together AAAAAAAA!

How would your OC's react to the fact that Ajax grows up much slower than them? Like, that she's technically super old (about as old as the earth teehee) and now she's legally an adult with a human drivers license ans should be kept off the road at all times? I think she misses her childhood friends :^

my ocs are trillion of years old and typically do not age! ^^ Galactic is the only one to have aged, and she aged randomly. due to timing of how her omniverse has went, when she met ajax at first she was probably about 7-9 in physical age. but when now meeting Ajax again shes 17 :D yes its been a while but she has a hard time keeping track of time and is numb to rapid time change due to the really fast speed her universe has been going on.

Galactic: "WOAH :O youre an adult now? That's so cool Ajax! I'm almost an adult... 17 now! Which is cool too. Though I dont know how to drive at all, we should go one day!"

lore for @kart-ana this is going on while Promni and Ko are talking

“What does it matter what I’ve done, Elpis? You don’t trust a single thing I do anyways. Even if I did something good for our omniverse, you’d still find an issue with it.”

Elpis sighs, this conversation is going nowhere and Galactic refuses to listen. Galactic turns away from him, facing the several large screens in her personal office. Dust coated each surface, marking how long it’s been since she last used anything inside of there.

Galactic pulls up information of Multiverse Three, a multiverse only she can pull up information on now. Behind Promni and Elpis’s back, she has changed some settings so that it takes a hell of a lot of password management to access even the most basic files of that multiverse. It’s the only way she felt like she would have any say in changes. If she took the reins herself. This deeply annoyed Elpis, as he didn’t see why Galactic deserved a say. But here they were, loss of annoying situation to follow. Even worse to Elpis, Promni was off in some other omniverse, talking to some creator that had no idea of half of what he was saying. A Creator who demanded change, but what for? Things were already looking up, why change the path away from success? It seemed that no matter what, something regarding the Creator system had to change.

Thankfully, Elpis had all the control on who he could decide to leave some change to. As much as he disliked Galactic and her reckless antics, he much preferred her over a Creator who he barely knew and liked much less.

“Galactic. Listen to me.”

“Why should I?” She turns to face Elpis once more, annoyance etched all over her face. “You never listen to me anyway. Why should I grant you the same respect?”

“You want to prove yourself to me? To Promni?” Elpis smiles, knowing the answer to those questions. Of course she does. She’ll do just about anything to prove herself. “Do what you want with Multiverse Three, as long as you don't make the Core Universe's version of Alfred a major problem for the rest of us. Do what you wish with Devon, or anyone else there. Have your silly fun, or prove yourself that you can be responsible, or both. I'll give you a chance now. But this is it. If you're going to keep being a jackass, I'll make sure that no one looks back as you're casted out for the final time." They're both silent for a full minute, before Elpis continues.

"And I mean that, Galactic. You will never be seen again."

"I know." Galactic doesn't meet his gaze. He's staring right at her.

"I'll help you too, if you wish. I want this to work, though that's not something you believe. This'll work much better than whatever that Ko guy is planning with Promni." Galactic raises her eyebrows. So that was the true reason for this. "You can never be wrong, can you?"

"When HAVE I been wrong, Galactic? Don't prove me wrong about this time. About this chance. Go do what you wish, change our minds if you can."

Galactic could hardly believe it. She can't help but smile. "I won't let either of you down!" And Galactic teleports to Multiverse Three, excited to be able to change anything she wants.

Elpis laughs. "Oh, we'll see if that ends up being the truth."
