[PROJECT SUNDAYS] PROJECT #1: “SUNDAYS UNITED”

Hello! We are going to begin our first DAY6 fan-project: SUNDAYS UNITED!

This project will hopefully be a recurring series of projects. It is intended to be an international cover group for DAY6 songs! 

What exactly does that mean?

Our first project for SUNDAYS UNITED will be a cover of I Wait. What makes it special? As PROJECT SUNDAYS is designed to be openly international, we will be singing I Wait in your language! 

We will be recruiting 16 diverse fans from around the world. Each singer will be given a line from DAY6′s single I Wait to translate into their language, record it, and send it to us. Some languages may end up repeated based on the variety of submissions, so don’t worry about your language being common global language such as English!

REQUIREMENTS:

-You must have a decent setup! You don’t need a professional studio, but we unfortunately cannot take a basic laptop webcam/earbud microphone set. You should have at least a camera or video recorder with a decent built-in mic. We would prefer if you had a small space with a solid background to record it (to minimize unwanted echoing) but this is not necessary. -Any language may be chosen by you to sing. If you speak more than one language, we encourage you to apply in your native tongue and/or the less common of the languages. We will be considering all languages, from English to Korean to a forgotten language your grandmother taught you. -Potential participants will be initially selected through their impact (”wow-factor”) and the quality of their setup. The final singers will be chosen as a diverse blend.  -You do NOT need to be a born-and-raised singer! We are looking more for passion and potential than skill itself. If you don’t feel confident in your singing skills we would like to encourage you to send a video anyways! <3

Don’t worry if you don’t get chosen for this round! We are hoping to do more SUNDAYS UNITED songs in the future, and we will be rotating the group! There will be some repeat faces, but new ones will appear with every new song to show the true passion and global impact DAY6 has on people around the world!

HOW TO APPLY:

2) Record yourself singing a brief sample (of any song in any language) with the same setup you’d be using for SUNDAYS UNITED. E-mail the recording as well as your name, country, and what language you’re going to sing for the cover to me at seoakley99@gmail.com. Please title your email “Sundays United Application” <3

I finished the secret project I was working on and it was gifted to the receipt. It's based on an extant piece from Rome. It was made with jewelry wire, brass sheet metal, and coral beads. I learned a lot working on this project and I definitely want to do more! What projects are you working on? Project Sunday included homemade eye cream w/shea butter and rose hip oil from @wellnessmama and Vanilla sugar scrub!! Both recipes turned out fabulous and they are super easy to follow!! ***************************************** Every month or so I take on one to two natural recipes to try out. WHAT IS PROJECT SUNDAYS?

Hello everyone! 

As you well know, DAY6 is working extremely hard this year to provide content for us; the fans. A small group of us have been discussing this and have decided to form a project group to return the favor. We plan to release frequent fan-projects dedicated to DAY6 and show them that not only do we love them as much as they do us, but we are willing to work hard to show them our love. 

PROJECT SUNDAYS is a global group, with the founders living all over the world. DAY6′s fanbase is known for being worldwide and our goal is to show them that no matter how far apart the fans are, we are always together because of DAY6.

We will be releasing information soon on our first project and how you can participate!

We appreciate your support, and we hope you are willing to join our projects! If you have questions, please send us a message and we will get right back to you!
