This is kinda how I do my makeup, which I think is good for any cosplayer.

She’s got some expressive eye brows, fill those in Her nose is cold! It’s so chilly! I use bronzer and blush there and a little on the cheeksMei also has a few mole/freckles. I noticed those whenever I got PotG and it’s easier to see in movement. I love including thoseand her lips are more mocha/taupe shades than pink

I like this fan art! It replicates her hair hair stick well. 

but I think back to this style to let you hold onto that bun and hair stick! The hair stick is important for her, I think.

As for the costume, I can’t see much reason to change the concept. It’s pretty unisex!
