as a short summary, minori is part of the royal guard of the clover kingdom!! becoming a knight that can protect others has been her dream since childhood, since a knight saved her from some robbers while she was running errands when she was younger! her mother is a seamstress and her father is a merchant!! ever since that fateful day, shes been training with a sword on her own, and all her hard work has paid off!!

but despite her determination and skill, she's rather unlucky, often getting drenched in heavy rain, tripping on her own foot ever so often, etc. shes trying her best, though!!

however, shes more on the defence side than offence, because she doesn't like to harm others, even if its to protect those close to her! in fact, her sword is rarely bloodied by her enemies because of this. she believes everyone should get a second chance, and that drawing blood or murder isnt always the solution.

*It was just another day at work for Ichika. She hasn't been able to catch much, and she's a bit worried about being able to catch enough fish by the end of the week. Sure, her parents won't say anything about it, but she didn't like feeling like a freeloader

Suddenly, she catches a glimpse of something moving under the surface. No, several things! Quickly and without thinking, she throws the net, hoping to bring a big haul home*

🌊 With a pout, Saki had decided the reef was too boring.

Actually, she had decided that a while back, but today she was making a stand. (Just like she had done a million times before. Today would definitely be different.) Making a swim-dash out of the house right under her mother’s nose, she mutters to herself as flaps her tail frantically out of the reef to avoid anyone spotting her. Well, she isn’t actually sure why she’s so worried about it. The whole town is used to her antics by now.

Checking for the hundredth time that she had her Knick-Knack-Pouch with her in case she did find anything interesting on her travels, Saki makes her way to a specific spot outside of the reef. Yes, today she wanted to observe the humans.

Before anyone says anything! Yes, she is aware of the risks and yes, she knows it’s dangerous and YES, she has be warned that this is a bad idea by her mother (she does NOT have bad parents!), but is she going to do it anyway? Absolutely. Humans were just so interesting, and they dropped so many cool things! One time she found this REALLY big… big thing in the water, and she found she could press the white rectangles on it and it made a garbled sound. Didn't Toya have one of these? Back to the humans!

Besides, she’d had her eye on a specific human for a while (or maybe two… wait no, three. Definitely three); her hair was just so deep and dark and perfect, and when the light hit it just right it looked like the little white dots in the sky when nighttime came around, the stars, if she remembered correctly. Oh, and those pretty blue eyes…

Lost in her daydream recalling far too many little details she arguably shouldn’t know about a human, Saki fails to notice the way she’s slowed down and now there was a suspicious grid shaped shadow above her that was descending and-

Before she realises it she’s caught in a net that is being quickly pulled to the surface. Panicking- panic- okay! She remembers what her mother told her in case of an emergency- swim around frantically and pull and pull at the ropes so the human loses their grip and drops you-

Why aren’t they dropping it? Despite her best efforts, the little mermaid is being hauled closer and closer to the surface of the water, the light of the sun get sickeningly brighter and brighter.

Hi!! I am looking for a long term partner to write with!! I am genderfluid use they/them generally but am also good with any other pronoun set 🫶 & I am an adult if that matters to you! I don't mind OCs as long as I get information on them first!! Even with fandom writing though, I'd really like either canon-compliant or magical/fantasy AUs. With AUs or OCs, I'd like to focus on worldbuilding, not just the characters themselves.
