I've just been on an unheeded character arc roll haven't I

Here we have Professor Mara Sanders, PhD and Mae Sanders' identical twin sister... Prior to Sonia's rise to fame and list of cosmetic procedures, that is.

Mara would lament how disconnected Mae has become, still doing her best to look out for her sister however she can. She would strive for a highly educated career to avoid walking down a similar path to her family, and is often referred to as the less attractive version of Sonia by people don’t know their relation.

Don't pay attention to Mara's baby face, she's not one to underestimate. Her work is extremely valuable for certain interested parties.

What happened to Professor Sanders? Is she okay? Is she dead?

What I can say is that she's related to Sonia, and makes some decisions that drastically affect the gang... For better or worse.
