This is not!fic. Inspired by this gif and the way that the maxiel brain rot immediately threw this idea at me.
Max is a student in some sort of art-adjacent course. Perhaps architecture or some kind of engineering program that has a significant design component.
For hand-wavey reasons, his program requires that he take at least one traditional art class. He can’t escape it, despite his best efforts, so he gets stuck taking Drawing and Painting 101.
It’s just as terrible as he suspects. He has a decent level of natural artistic ability, but he can’t be bothered to put in any effort at all. He insists on drawing one single apple for the still life unit. He adds a worm to it. His landscapes are indistinct blobs of blue and green oil paint. His charcoal work is just a series of black smudges on page after page of his sketchbook.
His professor is wholly unimpressed and is on the verge of dropping him from the course entirely and requiring him to start over again next semester. They have several tense meetings during office hours about it, with the professor practically begging him to just try. Max stubbornly refuses to admit that this isn’t the best work he’s capable of. No one believes him.
Then they get to the life study module.
Max shows up and sulks over to his usual spot towards the back of the room and slumps into his chair. He hasn’t even looked at the model yet. He hadn’t planned to look at all. His plan was just to draw a random person- perhaps a series of stick figures- and call it a day.
He’s scrolling on his phone, waiting for class to start, and he hears a big honking laugh. It’s distracting enough that he looks up, only to meet eyes with the most gorgeous man he’s ever seen. Who is in the middle of dropping his robe to reveal the most gorgeous cock Max has ever seen.
He grabs his stuff and moves right up to the front row, where he has never, not once, sat before. The entire class just stares as he whips out his sketchbook and a drafting pencil- completely the wrong implement for this sort of class- to start drawing like a man possessed.
The model (whom the professor introduces as Daniel and says will be joining their class for the next three weeks as they move through the life study segment of the course) hasn’t even had a chance to get into position yet. He’s just standing there, dick blowing in the breeze, and Max is sketching up a storm.
Within minutes, he’s produced a practically photorealistic rendition of Daniel- or at least, approximately six and a half inches’ worth of Daniel. Then he does another. And another. Daniel is moving through the poses that the professor has asked him to do- two 30 minute poses, a couple 15 minute ones, and then a few that he holds for just 5 minutes each. Max is unconcerned about the change in poses. He’s just churning out sketch after hyperrealistic sketch of Daniel’s cock.
He’s painstakingly penciling in every single one of Daniel’s individual pubes. He’s leaning in as close as he can get in order to map out the exact curve of the flare of his head. At one point, he nearly reaches out to grab Daniel’s hip to turn him a little more to Max’s direction, but before he can make contact, his professor grabs him by the back of his hoodie and yanks him back into his seat.
Max blushes a little at that but doesn’t stop sketching.
After the class, he waits impatiently for Daniel to get dressed (he wasn’t raised in a barn. He has some manners) before he goes over and says “I’m Max. Can I please buy you a coffee? And then also suck you off?”
Daniel is charmed and also a little confused, but he’s not going to turn down caffeine and a blowie from a beautiful boy.
They live happily ever after.
(Max submits all of the sketches that he does of Daniel’s schlong as part of his final portfolio, and the professor agrees that they’re evidence enough of his abilities, so Max passes the class- just barely. He says it was by the skin of his teeth. Daniel says it was by the foreskin of his dick.)

No offense but the writers trying to tell us with straight faces Sozin had Azulon at 82 is so laughable to me. I feel like they should've added a gen or if they really wanted to stick with it, just have Sozin steal-I mean adopt Azulon after getting some sage prediction of him being powerful since Sozin seems like the type of person whose caught up in his delusions he probably procrastinated on having a kid and I feel like Sozin would take the quickest shortcut to compensate rather than wait nine months for a potential dud.

Yeah, I always thought the age gap was kinda weird.
Based on how old Azula is in the show (I think he’s like 95 or so) and the fact that the comet comes again 6 years later. That means he would be about 101 when the comet returned and 1 when the comet came. So we’re actually supposed to believe that Sozin waited until right before he committed the genocide to actually produce an heir which seems like horrible, horrible timing.
I really like the idea that he just took a kid. Like Sozin was so busy planning a genocide and how the Fire Nation would rule (and being gay) that he didn’t have time to have a baby. Sozin probably picked Azulon and then told the Fire Nation he was his true heir (cause of the whole royal blood and everything) and that he had just kept Azulon out of the spotlight. Meanwhile, Azulon’s like six and has no clue why he taken from his parents or why this random old man is saying he’s his father. By the time Iroh and Ozai come around, Azulon has just completely forgotten and fully believes he’s Sozin’s kid.

Your babies were both eliminated in the same episode.
I looked up the contestants of produce 101 japan both seasons and I found out Orbit and JO1 came out of season 1 and Ini out of season 2. Also I found out Daigo and Renta were in season 2. Then because I like going back and looking at the previous produce 101 season’s contestants cause sometimes I forget who all was on and wow I love information so many constestants debuted and some are still in temperary groups like Sunhyuk was in Rainz and now he’s in Tan. But we got members in onewe and oneus, noir, wei, mirae, Lee eunsang in Younite I found some members of cravity there’s soloists. I love looking at their produce pics lol I just watch some of them on that show tho. Mixnine and The Unit are fun to look at too. The Unit was basically a party for already debuted idols. And then in the first season of produce 101 we got weki meki and pristin and Chungha and somi and chanmi debuted for a third time and there’s so many more idols I recognize it’s so fun to look at them all.
I just hated that season 2 introduced already debuted idols in to compete with trainees I don’t think that’s fair at all and I don’t like the whole competition stuff but that seems to be the new thing. Pros tho all the groups that come out of it and some I really like and I totally keep forgetting that Wonjun and Wonhyuk were in season 3 with woodz and seungwoo and byungchan and wei and Wooshin and Hyeonsu and I found their pics and they’re so cute lil babiesss :(

Regarding Benny thing, Benny is having a collab with hobi in coming album 🙂 And yeah every other western artist scooter introduced to boys are problematic in one or another, but then most in western industry are problematic. Now they are introducing other hybe groups also to these producers and artists. Max and Yunjin from Lsf released a collab few days before. Previously bts used to collab with ONLY artists who they have a friendship with, now it's random ass people who are exposed to be problematic. I genuinely hope JK doesn't know Scooter's shady side, that he won't work with him even after knowing everything. Him being ignorant of these issues and only having discussions with them 101% for his songs sounds better than him knowing everything and still working with him. If he's prioritizing success for few years listening to their words then the loss will be huge and it not only affects him but Jimin too.

Plus there's no ethical way of generating wealth in this dimension anyway. Whatever he does he's gonna get his hands stained with something, someone's gonna be underpaid to give him a bigger cut, someone's gonna have to forced to labour to get a perfect shot, someone's gonna get hurt dancing in the background of his movie.
No one goes unscathed under capitalism.
I just hope he has strong moral and political values he operates on. I would shun any racist homophobic Karen I come across nothing in the world would keep me from walking away from a deal like that. But that's me.
And for me I hate to think of all the homophobia he himself experiences that he would forgive that easily. It would gut me if that were to happen.

Geena Davis and her family were returning from dinner in their small Massachusetts town when her great-uncle Jack, 99, began drifting into the oncoming lane of traffic. Ms. Davis was about 8, flanked by her parents in the back seat. Politeness suffused the car, the family, maybe the era, and nobody remarked on what was happening, even when another car appeared in the distance, speeding toward them.
Finally, moments before impact, Ms. Davis’s grandmother issued a gentle suggestion from the passenger seat: “A little to the right, Jack.” They missed by inches.
Ms. Davis, 67, relayed this story in her 2022 memoir, “Dying of Politeness,” an encapsulation of the genially stultifying values that she had absorbed as a child — and that a great many other girls absorb, too: Defer. Go along to get along. Everything’s fine.
Of course the Academy Award-winning actress ditched that pliability long ago. From “Thelma & Louise” and “A League of Their Own” to this year’s coming-of-age drama, “Fairyland,” back-seat docility just wasn’t an option. Indeed, self-possession was her thing. (Or one of her things. Few profiles have failed to mention her Mensa membership, her fluency in Swedish or her Olympic-caliber archery prowess.) But cultivating her own audaciousness was only Phase 1.
Next year will mark two decades since the creation of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media. When her daughter was a toddler, Ms. Davis couldn’t help noticing that male characters vastly outnumbered female characters in children’s TV and movies.
“I knew everything is completely imbalanced in the world,” she said recently. But this was the realm of make-believe; why shouldn’t it be 50/50?
It wasn’t just the numbers. How the women were represented, their aspirations, the way young girls were sexualized: Across children’s programming, Ms. Davis saw a bewilderingly warped vision of reality being beamed into impressionable minds. Long before “diversity, equity and inclusion” would enter the lexicon, she began mentioning this gender schism whenever she had an industry meeting.
“Everyone said, ‘No, no, no — it used to be like that, but it’s been fixed,’” she said. “I started to wonder, What if I got the data to prove that I’m right about this?”
Amid Hollywood’s trumpeted causes, Ms. Davis made it her mission to quietly harvest data. Exactly how bad is that schism? In what other ways does it play out? Beyond gender, who else is being marginalized? In lieu of speechifying and ribbons, and with sponsors ranging from Google to Hulu, Ms. Davis’s team of researchers began producing receipts.
Ms. Davis wasn’t the first to highlight disparities in popular entertainment. But by leveraging her reputation and resources — and by blasting technology at the problem — she made a hazy truth concrete and offered offenders a discreet path toward redemption. (While the institute first focused on gender data, its analyses now extend to race/ethnicity, L.G.B.T.Q.I.A.+, disability, age 50-plus and body type. Random awful finding: Overweight characters are more than twice as likely to be violent.)

Even when braced for it, the institute’s findings are staggering: In the 101 top-grossing G-rated films from 1990 to 2005, just 28 percent of speaking characters were female. Even in crowd scenes — even in animated crowd scenes — male characters vastly outnumber female ones. In the 56 top grossing films of 2018, women portrayed in positions of leadership were four times more likely than men to be shown naked. (The bodies of 15 percent of them were filmed in slow motion.) Where a century ago women had been fully central to the budding film industry, they were now a quantifiable, if sexy, afterthought.
“When she started to collect the data, it was kind of incredible,” said Hillary Hallett, a professor of American studies at Columbia University and the author of “Go West, Young Women! The Rise of Early Hollywood.” “This wasn’t a vague feeling anymore. You couldn’t claim this was just some feminist rant. It was like, ‘Look at these numbers.’”
Ms. Davis is by turns reserved and goofy offscreen — a thoughtful responder, an unbridled guffawer. (At one point she enunciated the word “acting” so theatrically that she feared it would be hard to spell in this article.) On a recent afternoon in Los Angeles, she took a break from illustrating the children’s book she had written, “The Girl Who Was Too Big for the Page.”
“I grew up very self-conscious about being the tallest kid — not just the tallest girl — in my class,” she said. “I had this childhood-long wish to take up less space in the world.”
In time she began to look beyond her height — six feet — to the insidious messages reinforcing such insecurity.
“Hollywood creates our cultural narrative — its biases trickle down to the rest of the world,” she said in “This Changes Everything,” the 2018 documentary she produced about gender inequity in the film industry. The documentary takes its name from the incessant refrain she kept hearing after the success of “Thelma & Louise,” and later “A League of Their Own.” Finally the power and profitability of female-centric movies had been proven — this changes everything! And then, year after year, nothing.

It was here that Ms. Davis planted her stake in the ground — a contention around why certain injustices persist, and how best to combat them. Where movements like #MeToo and Times Up target deliberate acts of monstrosity, hers would be the squishier universe of unconscious bias. Did you unthinkingly cast that doctor as a male? Hire that straight white director because he shares your background? Thought you were diversifying your film, only to reinforce old stereotypes? (Fiery Latina, anyone?)
It’s a dogged optimism that powers Ms. Davis’s activism — a faith that Hollywood can reform voluntarily. When she goes to a meeting now, she’s armed with her team’s latest research, and with conviction that improvement will follow.
“Our theory of change relies on the content creators to do good,” said Madeline Di Nonno, the president and the chief executive of the institute. “As Geena says, we never shame and blame. You have to pick your lane, and ours has always been, ‘We collaborate with you and want you to do better.’”
If a car full of polite Davises can awaken to oncoming danger, perhaps filmmakers can come to see the harm they’re perpetuating.
“Everyone isn’t out there necessarily trying to screw women or screw Black people,” said Franklin Leonard, a film and television producer and founder of the Black List, a popular platform for screenplays that have not been produced. “But the choices they make definitely have that consequence, regardless of what they believe about their intent.”
He added: “It’s not something people are necessarily aware of. And there’s no paper trail — it can only be revealed in aggregate. Which gets to the value of Geena’s work.”

Unique to the institute’s efforts is its partnership with the University of Southern California’s Signal Analysis and Interpretation Laboratory, which uses software and machine learning to analyze scripts and other media. One tool born of that collaboration, Spellcheck for Bias, employs AI to scan scripts for stereotypes and other problematic choices. (Janine Jones-Clark, the executive vice president for inclusion for NBCUniversal’s global talent development and inclusion team, recalled a scene in a television show in which a person of color seemed to be acting in a threatening manner toward another character. Once flagged by the software, the scene was reshot.)
Still, progress has been mixed. In 2019 and 2020, the institute reported that gender parity for female lead characters had been achieved in the 100 highest-grossing family films and in the top Nielsen-rated children’s television shows. Nearly 70 percent of industry executives familiar with the institute’s research made changes to at least two projects.
But women represented just 18 percent of directors working on the top 250 films of 2022, up only 1 percent from 2021, according to the Center for the Study of Women in Television and Film; the percentage of major Asian and Asian American female characters fell from 10 percent in 2021 to under 7 percent in 2022. A 2021 McKinsey report showed that 92 percent of film executives were white — less diverse than Donald Trump’s cabinet at the time, as Mr. Leonard of the Black List noted.
“I think the industry is more resistant to change than anybody realizes,” he added. “So I’m incredibly appreciative of anyone — and especially someone with Geena’s background — doing the non-glamorous stuff of trying to change it, being in the trenches with Excel spreadsheets.”
Ms. Davis has not quit her day job. (Coming soon: a role in “Pussy Island,” a thriller from Zoe Kravitz in her directorial debut.) But acting shares a billing with her books, the diversity-focused Bentonville Film Festival she started in Arkansas in 2015 — even the roller coasters she rides for equity. (Yes, Thelma is now Disney’s gender consultant for its theme parks and resorts.)
“We’re definitely heading in the right direction,” she said. “Bill Gates called himself an impatient optimist, and that feels pretty good for what I am.”

Random Numbers 101
(actually "pseudo-random number generators" but we'll get to that later)
Attempting to write for a general audience which is why I'm attempting to use simple explanations and focus on explanations rather than code.
How do they work
Step 1: prepare a bunch of bits (a seed), and from these bits, create the initial state of the generator
Step 2: modify current state
Step 3: given current state, produce a number from it
Example 1: MINSTD
Step 1: The state is a single 32-bit unsigned integral number variable. We don't know how to create a seed yet, so let's pick a number 23455264 as a seed.
state = 23455264
Step 2: Calculate the new state using the equation
(a*state + c) % m
MINSTD in particular uses a = 48271, c = 0, m = 2147483647
state = (48271 * state) % 2147483647
Step 3: use the new state directly as the output number
output = newstate output = 485166575
Done: this generator provides numbers in range from 0 to 2147483647 (exclusive, so it will generate every non-negative smaller than 2147483647). Want another number? Go through steps 2-3 again.
Example 2: Doom (1993) pseudo-random number generator
Step 1: prepare an array of 256 (hopefully) random numbers. The array is not part of the current state, as it is not modified during step 2.

Also prepare an integral number variable. This is the state of the generator.

Step 2: Increase the number by 1. If the number goes beyond what is an acceptable range of indexing the array, set it to the index of the first element.

Step 3: use the state to index the array.
output = rndtable[state] output = 8
Done: this generator provides numbers in range from 0 to 255 (inclusive)
Tricks and Traps
Generating a number from range 0 to N*N (exclusive) when your generator only provides numbers from range 0 to N (exclusive)
Generate two numbers using your generator
high = gen() # let's say N = 10 low = gen()
Multiply one of the numbers by N and add the second number
x = high * N + low
Because "N" (10) is bigger than any possible value of "low" (0, 1, 2, ..., 9), no two different generations of "high" and "low" will result in same "x". The lowest possible value of x is 0 for high = 0 and low = 0, and highest is 99 for high = 9 and low = 9.
Generating a number from range 0 to H (exclusive) using a generator that provides numbers from range 0 to N (exclusive), and H is less than N
Let's say N = 10 and H = 4.
Step 1: find the biggest possible integral number divisible by H which is smaller than N. Let's call that number S.
Here S = 8 as 2*H = 8, but 3*H = 12, which is already bigger than 10.
Step 2: generate a number. If the number is not smaller than S, throw it away and generate another one until the generator will get you a number smaller than S

Step 3: Put the generated number into one of H buckets by using the modulo operation. Let this will be the resulting number.

As you can see, if we were to not apply the step 2, before doing step 3, values 0 and 1 would be 50% more likely to be generated than values 2 and 3. Good thing we discarded 8s and 9s before doing that.
Pseudorandomness
We're calling these numbers pseudorandom because we used a fairly simple step-by-step procedure to generate them, but also it is fairly difficult to say what would true randomness be.
We will never know if the devil creature will say something else than nine.
The two examples listed above were very simple pseudo-random number generators (PRNGs), but we have PRNGs which are good enough to generate numbers which must be unpredictable enough to secure your connection to your online bank. We call these cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generators. Explaining on how to use them will come in another post.
Picking a seed
We deliberately avoided explaining how to pick a seed for step 1 in both of these examples. Doom (1993) always picks 0 at the start of the level, but we have to keep in mind that using the same seed will result in the same sequence, which is why if we want to have different sequences, we will have to pick different seeds.
Two most common ways are using the current time, which is extremely predictable (everyone knows the current time), but good enough for quite a lot of programs. The alternative is using a better generator to seed our generator.
Picking a specific seed
The flip side of the fact that using the same seed results in the same sequence is that we can deliberately pick a seed to create the same sequence every time.
If you have ever played Minecraft or Factorio and saved a specific world seed to share with your friends, you know what I'm talking about.
Because Doom (1993) always uses the same seed and also has two separate generator states, one specifically for game logic and other for everything else, it can record your playthrough by recording your inputs and then replay it by simulating a player that rather than taking inputs from your keyboard or mouse, it takes input from the replay file.
